I won't do self checkout. I insist on a cashier.

"If there are no employees in the store, I'm never paying for food again." .... Unfortunately, that's the future of stores. Once cash is completely obsolete, and we're already pretty much at that point, there won't be any cashiers anymore, and so, what's the point of having employees at all, then? Everything will be self check out, card only, and the customer is just going to have to self check out, and also have to have debit, or we'll just be unable to shop. And, if we need help, we'll have to go to a kiosk to ask, or else we're just going to be in need of help. Like, if we're trying to find which aisle something is in. Or, if we want a price check. They'll probably have one to two stockers, before opening, or after closing, and that's it. There's already stores, like Amazon stores, where it's already like that. Other stores are already experimenting with the idea, like Whole Foods (which happens to be owned by Amazon), and even Walmart. That's the future of shopping. I agree with you. Sometimes we need that human interaction to really get what we need (and I say that includes the need for cash). Machines don't give us what we need. They give us what they're programmed to give us (if they even understand us or work properly), and sometimes they're not programmed with what we're looking for, at all. So, we're just stuck.
I think it's unfair that Twitter (and other outlets) did away with verification, and it's pay for the verification, or you just don't get it. There's people, like you, on there, who ARE actors, and so forth. Who SHOULD be verified. And, the fact we pay for verification doesn't even make any sense. If we're gonna pay for check mark, we should just all pay for the profile instead, and if we become verified, we become verified. They should have more extensive vetting for verification. Instead of paying for it. It's silly how they did it. There needed to be a fix to the problem that led them to do pay for verification, but paying for verification wasn't the way to go.
