Hello, I have an issue with my Desktop Dell home computer, Alienware, Windows 7, and I was searching online and came across your channel and found it very helpful, thank you for the information you provide. The issue that I'm having is, that I want to restore my computer to factory settings and it's been going on for about 48 hours at this time and has not changed, it still shows reinstalling your selected system back up, with the little circle still going around. (Where it says progress completion is not even showing the percentage % sign)
Thanking you in advance for any help you can give me, Luis

Hello, most likely the problem is that Windows 7 has not been supported by Microsoft for a long time and perhaps one of the OS elements is damaged.
You can force restart the computer and start the recovery process from the very beginning, but I'm not sure if this will help, then only reinstalling a new Windows will solve this problem.
Apparently there are personal files on your computer that you would not want to lose, and if you have another computer, or your relative or friend has a computer, then you can install Windows 10 on an external USB drive:

After that, boot your computer from this USB drive and transfer important files to a USB flash drive or another drive.
After this, you can install the new Windows on your computer.
