Phantom clarity in high pitches are mad and it got deep basses that you can feel (and your neighbours too) That ofc why its worth a grand more than beosound.
I would recommend testing them live. They sound completely different. I was disappointed when listening to Devialet, but Beosound 2 left me intrigued. Im thinking about buying it but want to test them extensively.

Hm, because the b&o has an eq the treble is crystal and the bass is much more deep. Of course the devialet is more powerful in db! i have devialet 108 only one speaker and the stage soundbar from B&O. B&O for sound quality Devialet party speaker!
@@garywatkins8823 I’ve heard both in person. The Phantom (especially in stereo) blows speakers that cost a lot more out of the water. I’ve never heard them exaggerate any note or sound distorted. B&O has historically focused more on design, less on sonic competence.

I am confused as to why that devialet gold sounds so muffled. it never has when I've heard it live and in comparisons, it sounds a bit cleaner than the beosound 2. Unlucky man, beosound 2 is a beast tho
I think that Devialet has won, he has a more even balance of all frequencies and there is no artificially squeezed scene. And yes, B&O has a bust with the bottoms.

Out of warranty, no service centre in Hong Kong, just lots of sales outlets - Devialet initially tried their best with remote software support but decided there was a hardware problem. Might just be a loose connection. Only solutions offered - pay £600 to have it shipped to France to investigate, or pay £600 to get a replacement (with no warranty). No thanks. Contrast that with B&O who make sure they have a full local support centre backing up their sales outlets in case of need. Au revoir Devialet.

I listen to jazz, bollywood tracks, progressive trance, classical, even rafi and kishor kumar songs and the phantom gold hasn't disappointed me ever!
Bro imo beo headphones are nah. If u turn the volume loud. The sounds is hella sharp but not high resolution and it’s kinda uncomfortable. The old b&o earset a8 is a perfect example of b&o style toning. But the latest headphones are just compromised versions of that to fit in the mainstream pop music toning.

Both are crap... Expensive repairs and not much aftercare.. personally i would suggest to buy x2 JBL310s...... With 2, the whole house moves!!!!! And im not joking... The police came round twice in the first week.. stupid neighbours. Ive had the gold phantom.. i brought from westfields london.. lasted a year and then gave issues.. repair help was skatty.. the beo sound B/o i havent owned, my cousin brought one.. very nice and futuristic to look at.. BUT.. for the money im sorry its not all that.. Just try the jbl310s two of them and then leave me a comment. Trust.... The house doors rattle and open themselves. Loll only on half volume!!!!!!!

the devialet bass are very pleasant, nonetheless I prefer the treble of beosound but a little less the design

Maybe this is the smaller cheaper devialet.
Beosound sounds more detailed when I compared it with Devialet live.
Its an unprofessional recording. It doesn’t recreate how both of these speakers sound.

The PCB and chip has been upgraded, better WiFi and room for new updates coming to the app in the next year.

Its not a speaker its a radio. I wouldnt recommend playing music on it/ testing it like that. You need to see it as radio not a as speaker system.
