Timemore Fish electric kettle actuality brings you back to the set temperature every time you pick up and put down the kettle. If you turn the hold function on obviously.
hi Jeremy! thanks so much for shopping with us! Great buy 😀 unfortunately there is no timer on the Artisan Barista Kettle sorry! only hold temp, fast boil and temperature settings
The fellow stagg ekg directly behind you as you said ~~'no kettle has a hold function that keeps temperature after you pick it up and put it back down' ...has that exact feature. The absence of this feature is a serious drawback of this product, unfortunately.
@@AlternativeBrewingAh so I just wanted to ask does the tall, wide spout (1.5L) Varia have this feature as well? I was thinking of getting one from you guys, but I wasn’t 100% sure and unfortunately without a hold feature would be a dealbreaker for me. Because usually I’m not making pourovers, but rather brewing Chinese style tea, which means making many many infusions over long period of time. And without the ability to keep the temperature, and having to reset it constantly, it would drive me a bit crazy. I usually need a kettle to maintain a precise temp for sometimes hours at a time, just adding fresh water when it gets depleted. Speaking of, does the Wide-spout Varia also do temperature increments of 1 degree Celsius? Thanks for your responses :)
Absolutely it does 👌 what you’ve just described sounds to me like the Varia Aura open-spout would be perfect for your needs. It’s 1.5L capacity, and has a 40-100°c temperature variation in 1°c increments. And it will hold your desired temp for 90mins once heated, as well as continue to keep temp when you pick it up, and place it back down ! 😊
sorry to disagree: imitation is the lowest way of flattering. (to put it nicely) because reality is not flattering at all. young startups get robbed of everything they invested by copycats selling for half price and established brands lose against cheap and dangerous counterfeits, imitating a quality product. (eg. copy of a high-end circuit breaker, or overheating electronics that tries to save 0,01ct with failing parts...) I can go on and on and on in other words: why the ... can't they even design their own handle??? edit: sorry, I didn't see you guys are selling this😅

Thanks! Coming up in the Ultimate Comparison Video 👌
Great video as per usual!
Thanks again!
Nice Josh! 😊😊😊
Thanks! 😁
Hey guys just bought this in your black friday sale. How do you start the timer?

Is the flow restrictor plastic or silicone? thanks
Silicone 👍
Also almost impossible to click the flow restrictor in. I recommend not buying this one - I’ve returned mine, a few manufacturers errors too
Need help. I set my temp to 93 then it heats there. Beeps . Then after my pour it shows the actual temp is 97 to boil
Mine does the same. The temperature control is bogus. I'm only keeping it because it was a gift

Ah good point, I must have missed that feature! 👍 And now - most newer coffee kettles on the market have this feature 👌 Like the Varia Aura too

Imitation is the sincerest form of corporate espionage.
Id'd totally buy this if shipping wasn't so expensive and was available in the US :/
Look for the Paris Rhône or the Magic Mill .
uhhh, just get an ekg wtf lol
that's fair enough - but the AB Smart Kettle is significantly more affordable
@@AlternativeBrewing ugh, i respect this review tho, gonna give it a thumbs up
So they stole the design from the EKG and the name from Brewista 😅
haha 😂 Nothing's original in 2022
And the quality is bad, I had to return mine after 2 days
