I just bought Vinho Barrique and the pot still shape 6 x 0.05 miniature set. I think I'm gonna buy some of the solist bottles for my collection. Great video.... ✔️
Got to love Kavalan, i met a girl that worked at Kavalan at a whiskyfair ,she was in Sweden all the way from Taiwan👍🏻 Think a spend an hour at here stand asking so many qustions aboat the distillery😄
Palo cortado . “Traditionally it began life as a Fino, but casks that failed to develop a complete covering of flor were fortified to 17-18% to kill it off, and then aged oxidatively like an Oloroso”. Scott from the dummies got a bunna palo cortado
Jeremy I received my sample of this and it was so delicious. Kind of sweet but still high wow factor. I don't see myself buying a bottle of this but is there anything else out there at a lower price point that could compete? Would black art be in the realm? It's still $300 but that would be more doable for me.
Nice! Glad you liked it. I would say Glendronach PX single casks have a similar profile. The 21 Parliament is a mix of Oloroso and PX. The Black Art isn't as much as a sweet fruit bomb because I believe it uses a mix of casks. The Black Art 4.1 is my favorite of the ones Ive tried, and definitely one to look for, cheers!
I'll still take your reviews seriously after that blind mishap.🤣 Sometimes, I've noticed, when samples are in small glass vessels for a long time, the whisky changes dramatically. Or maybe the Kavalan threw off your palate. That's a really nice golf score. I usually shoot in the 80s, but only been out once this year. What do you think of the Leafs' chances? I think the Kavalan was definitely effecting my ability to taste but I still should have done a better job at breaking down that whisky lol, thanks for the vote of confidence :) I think it's anyone's game in the NHL. I agree the youth should help. Hopefully Anderson is good off the bat, he has a history of slow starts
