In the US, if you have the time to wait, Discount Tire will patch any tire for free (even those not purchased from them) if they can be safely patched.

Would just add that it is quite preferable to torque down wheel nuts to the correct torque using a torque wrench. And don't oil the threads of the wheel nuts before putting them back on because you may overstretch the studs even when you torque them down to the correct torque.

Permacure II Insert Repairs, clean the hole moving one way around only going in/out, never leaked and permanently fixes your hole, will fix thicker sidewalls , cheap inserts you use are temporary and garbage, we call them fatropes, 3+ years using Permacure on customers
Also you should grind the insert tool down on all sides for it to be smaller, mostly the punctures are quite small, when inserting i wouldnt turn the the tool at all if possible, inflated tire wont flex and the pull out is instant full force out,

Yes, much easier to use on an inflated tyre. Ive used them mainly on ATV and tractor tyres. - just thinking about the first one I ever did- it was almost 50 years ago!

@@t.h.o.r. box of permacure repairs should be around 15 euro for 50 pieces, used to be half cheaper before "covid". inside the permacure is rubber , outside is special coating for permanent vulcanizing, so dissapointed that all the gas stations and even tire shops use these crappy inserts that dry up and leak , also for high speeds any puncture repair is safety risk , i put my money on permacure, fatrope gets spat out after 150km/h
