the only boss fights i missed were the beneviento gardener and the valorac alpha. i remember hearing the alpha once i got back to the village and just immediately said “nope!”. i didn’t see the grave gate open for the beneviento treasure, so i missed out on that completely. in my second run through i’m going to fight all of the bosses

Not just with bravery, but with honour, courage and valour. The fact that he took his own life just so he could save his daughter just goes to show that this is what a true warrior looks like!

This feels more like if a Castlevania: Lords of Shadow spin-off took influence from Resident Evil 4’s gameplay than an actual Resident Evil game.
Imo this felt a lot like the first silent hill mixed with RE4.
