You come across very likeable, I was in the car game a few years back. Made my money & now retired in the Spain sunshine & will be 60 next year. Still dabble, as it’s in the blood. Exactly like my business, started at home & moved 45 cars in my best month. Love watching the ins & outs, brings back so many memories (good & bad 😂)
Consumer statutory protection is 6 months warranty on used cars so very lucky to get a comeback 7 months later . Think I’d Chuck a warrenty in on all cars unless the customer starts being tight etc
Loven the new series mate and thank you to your mate shifting metal for mentioning your new show mate was looking forward to your second video mate great show keep up good work I no it's a tough show to run
We had the same type of mini in, left it ticking over to warm it up prior to servicing, next thing chain had come thru top of the engine, there absolute junk, 2nd hand engine was 2k,put it on FB and took 975 for the car, that was a big loss, great videos, we're in Barnsley so not too far away.
@@johnfitton3716 had loads of troubles with them all, early, late, I bought my first one years ago, great I thought, but no, gearbox was noisy, had another, it had overheated so badly even the valve seats were warped, that later bmw diesel in post 61 cars is on borrowed time at 100k,3 chains, they want 2k for a used engine as well, basically I don't buy any sort of mini now.
Really glad you managed to sell some cars to pay off the loans. Love the fact your honest about everything. People don't seem to like to sell mini's for some reason
I was going to stock my front I own a mot and repair workshop but never get the time to buy stock but after seing this I think the easy money is in the repair side such a shame because I've got a lovely retail site
Don't let this put you off its a 10% rate of cripple cars......its the law of averages, we sell nearly 300 cars a year, I need to expect at least 30 are gonna come back with problems
Loving this content very open and interesting. Stick with it I've been following a lot of the car guys and this the best I've seen to date. You'll grow quote
Regardless of the type of warrenty if this happened in New Zealand the customer would be covered by the NZ Fair Trading Act, so no amount of signing or giving of minimal warrenties would protect he seller - over here it is well recognised that commercial venturees will try to pull dodgy deals all the time
I bought a car from Dave at the lovely Car Company we ended up being good friends ❤️ I delivered a few cars for him when I needed work. He’s a great bloke. I feel honoured to be a mate of his. Love ya Dave. Suzi x
Yeah I was off on a Jolly that week. Unfortunately David had to get his hands dirty on the sales side. When he’s moaning about the admin that’s usually because I do it 😉 fairplay on ending the month out of the shit though!
Your far too honest how do you know that's not been run low on oil which you can not be held liable for however shows great customer service to do the job at cost
i enjoyed that but i am disabled and cant go out so any help working from home i am into selling but this brain heammorrage really puts a stop on things . KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK AND NEVER LOOK BACK ALWAYS LOOK FORWARD .
Love the ‘fly on the wall’ feel of your videos and being really open in your costings and day to day headaches of car dealing
Thanks Greg glad your enjoying them
“What does that sound like to you?”
“About four grand’ 😂

How does it work with close brothers giving you money towards the evouqe? Is it like a loan I’m guessing..
Yes they fund 80% of the vehicle
