My favorite video so far Family is where life grows and thrives. Mom should take a bow for who she is and for being your model and inspiration! You're both so real, so alive, so adventurous, practical and positive. 🎉😮
You and your mom make a great team. It's great to see woman outdoors I don't see much of that in Rhode Island U.S.A.. Unless their glamping. I spent sometime in Canada training with Canadian Armed forces while I was in the 10th. Mountain 172nd mountain infantry U.S. Army. I retired in 2019. Now I'm just trying to find a different path for me now.
You are definitely your mother's daughter and that's absolutely a compliment. Love the duo videos and your willingness to explore and enjoy regardless of condition, relentlessly optimistic. Fun to watch.
It's nice seeing you and your mom enjoying life. I hope you guys will continue to provide this kind of content. It surely helps relieve some of the stress in life. May you and your mom continue to have more blessings in life. Please stay safe guys!
So nice to see you camping with your Mum, it is very special. I went paddle boarding on the lake with my two eldest children over night and I just loved it. Made me feel very blessed to know they wanted to go with their mother on a trip. Precious Memories 😊❤️🌸
Thanks for posting! My dad always took my brother and me backpacking in Glacier National Park and the Jewel Basin in Montana where he was raised. Your channel brought back good memories. My dad passed in 2008 and I need to get back into hiking.
Wow you are so brave to go out in the unknown! But its so beautiful out there. I just binged watched 6-7 episodes 😅 Huge fan of yours, no show off just out there sharing your adventures with us. Good luck and god bless. Love from California !
I am so glad you and your beautiful Mom decided to be safe than sorry. Very mature and smart. Thank you for showing that. It is a reminder that sometimes there is danger out there.
Great trek , fun adventure! Be safe , I don’t carry crampons but I do carry Micro Spikes all the time , snow , ice is perfect to navigate without slipping and falling ! Neat adventure!
What a scenic view those mountains , snow , the stream n your Taking bath in that spine freezing 🥶 cold river stream❄️🥶❄️ needs guts dear ....the video was nice 👍 keep exploring n making more such videos...love from INDIA.
I entered into a comatoplastic hypothermopoliptic state watching you slink into that near freezing cold water-no thank you!!! I have a 2024 Outback Limited XT and have been looking for ideas for car camping. You channel is very helpful; however, freezing water is not going on my list! 😝
I like your Subaru Outback very much. Subaru vehicles are very famous in their efficiency, reliability and durability. You've got to try the Subaru WRX I think you'll gonna love it.
Good choice to turn back. Whenever I drive in Canada, I have chains, crampons, an ice axe and extra camp fuel. Being from California, I try to be prepared for anything.❄️
Oh my, I live in Canada and we have lots of snow and when your done work and have to drive in 10cm of snow, blowing snow, snow drifts. You become the best driver in any weather. And without chains, only all season tires.
@@nannaj3239if you lived on one of the coasts we rock proper winters year round because of the thunderstorms in the summer...10cm of snow? We get that in an hour and it will snow for 3 days straight. I've had 7 or 8 feet of snow on the side of my driveway after a good plowing. You're very lucky😊
A spectacular, impressive, enchanting and informative video dear Madison Clysdale! Lovely adventures through the Canadian Rockies, hitting up the hot springs and getting stuck in a winter storm! You and your mom had a fantastic time that is for sure! Nature is always inspiring and also a great challenge! Thanks for sharing this fantastic experience with us! We joined your impressive channel! With warm greetings and kind wishes, Alex and Alexandra
I always take a full isobutane or isopro canister, by using that valve thingy and putting the can I'm going to fill in the freezer for 10 mins, on the bottom, and a big one on top, open the valve & presto blammo, it fills up, err down as it were. Close the valve & ur good to go. Remember, 3 canister sizes, small 4oz/100g 30 mins burn time or 10-2 cup boils at 3 mins ish each, 8oz/227g 60min, 16oz/450g 2hr but longer boil times at elevation & cold temps, means more fuel consumed, less boils. And even more if there's no running water & ur melting snow!
I just freaked out watching that intro. Didn't know that was a hot spring at first. It's full on winter here in the WMNF and my mind immediately went to hypothermia lol.
Would it be warmer if you zipped the two sleeping bags together? Or maybe it's better to leave them separate? Always enjoy when other channels support each other like foresty forest.
Me gustan mucho tus videos , sobre todo donde vives, debe ser genial, tengo que ir al Norte de Canada o Alaska algun dia , hace tiempo que noto su llamada
When and how to check if we can lit up open fire in an area. Or how to find an area where we can use open fire. Please suggest a way to find that in BC.
You’re moving to Calgary? I’m waaaaaaaay on the other side of Canada in New Brunswick. We don’t have big mountains but we have beautiful scenic hiking trails and lots of amazing harbour views
There are some REALLY good no-build builds of Outbacks-my bestie has one. Highly recommend taking out the back seats and storing them until you sell or do something different with your Subaru. Let me know if you want some pics of my gal-pal’s rig. 🌿

Crampons, for when you really got a heavy flow and you need to cram them in deep....oh, wait, they're for ice, not periods... 😜
