@@sibtalks8058 so... you're so cool you can do it. Bet you play bass even better than him! And who cares if he is sight reading? You can do it. You're so cool.
I've know Daryl since he was a little boy. He went to school with my daughter where music received the highest level of educational importance. This is what happens when you have that kind of environment, not to mention his parents are both fabulous musicians.

My prediction has come to pass when break beats were being stretched out by Mayer, Marc Guilianna and Gershon Eizenhauer(sp) etc that it would become the straight ahead of the future. Now we have JD Beck who blurs the line between straight so busy it swings ...or does it.....🤔. JD- " yes ".
Is it me or does it sound like Domi tried playing the melody in the beginning (0:30) and "stumbled" so she started improvising for a bit and THEN started the melody?...if thats the case its amazing how quickly she turned that into something else

Omg is it not ???

She can play all that... with one eye!
And when JD really gets going, he is fully blind from his face curtains!
This is some of the craziest shit I've ever heard
Imagine playing at Blue Note at 16 years old...Bright days ahead of JD (DOMi and Daryl too ofc)
Damn these Berklee kids
crazy before berklee
I don't understand what happened in this song. Somehow all three players had a solo at the same time.
Neo future bebop!
There's the genre ....#Neo Future Beebop .
Definitely liquid dark neo future vaporbreakbopcore
Vintage post drum and bass.
JACO approves of this jungle jazz, straight 🔥🔥🔥
Love his work with the Lemon Twigs
Daryl Johns is the bassist!
wait thats daryl? u sure?
I just seem to like everything these two do. And the bass was super good here too.
JD and Domi give me sort of an "entrance" into their music that I still get and connect with and then they fly- taking me with them.
100%
I accidentally watched this with 2x speed in settings lol i didnt realize until half of the video
Jazz was made, remade, then remade again by people their age
Good point! 💡 🎼
Damn, I never thought about it like that.
jazzy breackcore :D

Lol we need a igorrr + jd beck collaboration

This is like if a Drum n’ Bass DJ sampled National Health playing “My Favorite Things” and tripled the tempo. Very cool arrangement...
Would love to see this line-up playing Weather Report's "Havona".
It’s looks like I’m watching from another room through a doorway.
Still confused how this only has 44k views
The more I hear them the more I like. And, yeah, the bass has mad skills.
straight up thought that was nardwuar
Why is this not world famous!!??
Haha right!? They’re cooking. About to drop a debut album, single dropped last week.
These musicians have so much talent
Once you get to the end of the video, restart it at 2x speed. Makes perfect sense
This is what music should do
They really live it
If prince was alive I would love to see him play with these two
They might have to tone it down a tad so that he could maybe have a chance of hanging with them.
And the bassist is playing fretless let's not forget that
i see frets on that bass guitar
Mortigus some of the fretless fender necks come with fret lines but it’s not actually frets
I mean you can just hear it
As someone who literally spent years working on my fretless intonation, I appreciate this comment more than you could EVER know . . .
