Don’t worry, I haven’t been making very many brides lately either 🤣 Am I the only one who sets up their putter and stretches out their arm as long as I can to hold it while I try to ‘read the green’ haha. I’d love this thing I think.
Skip the line on the ball. Pick and visualize your line standing directly behind the ball. Now, find a spot on the green that's only 4-8" down your line that the ball will roll over. Most people can make a 4-8" putt. Trust your line and hit your putt. If you hit your mark, either your line was wrong or speed was off. This _transformed_ my putting this year. I tried the line but it cost me more strokes than I gained.
Definitely agree with this. I always had a huge problem with my putting pace and then 1 day I was talking to a coach and he asked me to roll a ball with my hand for like 15 feet away and it almost went in and stoped about 6-7 inches pass the hole. He asked me ‘Did you look at your hand or the hole when you rolled that?’ I said ‘Hole of course.’ and he just said think about that. So I started looking at the hole when I put and seriously changed everything for me. Rarely now am I to far off. It’s amazing and the little things can change everything.
FYI the alignment lines are decal tape. You can remove the two outside line and keep a center line. Did it to mine after seeing Ernie E Looks much better
First thing first is to get the ball on the fairway, then on the green then use the bloodline.once you get to do the latter good you won't need the bloodline putter simple.
Would you be able to play Callaway Gardens in pine mountain Georgia. We used to go yearly as children (camp activities for we kids and golf for the kids). Went one time with my own children, brother’s family, sister and my late mother in 2008. Had my only hole in one that year on their mountain course.
Hard argue with 6 birds in 9 holes...Would be interested in seeing future results.. If anything like you said. It appears to be giving you a better alignment picture and translating into your other clubs. $299 is cheaper than I thought. For some reason a lot of these clubs a person would call a gimmick seem to cost just more than the top brand name stuff.
That looks like a Wilson Pro Grip on that putter. I used to always use those on my tennis rackets. Interesting concept but that red color turns me completely off of this.
That is pretty cool. I putt sidesaddles and that really helps with my alignment. I used to get laughed at a lot. But when u don't 3 putt virtually anymore and u make those 5 footers for par and birdies well let's just say they don't laugh anymore 😂 So the bottom line is whatever it takes to get the ball in the hole period. Have yourself a great weekend with your family and friends.
I’ve never seen anyone do this before. Definitely interesting. I sometimes really open up my stance lately (was normally short/didnt matter putts) and definitely feels like I’m more accurate the more I get comfortable with it. Might need to look into this as I feel I see better, especially since I look at the whole when I put.
I always wanted to try side saddle, but the super long shaft and $300 for a decent used putter is not worth experiencing. I always been interested demo on since KJ Choi used on tour, then Bryson.
Just discovered this in a golf shop near me. I was sinking everything. Ya it was in a store.. But trust me, my putting is bad😂🤦🏻♂️. I'm hoping to get mine soon! How many strokes has it shaved off your score?
@@Clubber_Lang “Mr. T” I hope that is really you! 😂 I still love it. I have so much trust with it. I would say it has shaved of about 1-2 strokes per round. But that doesn’t tell the real story. The lag putts are closer and easy tap ins. Less grinding. Less stress. Honestly I love the putter. But I do wish: Evnroll, Bloodline and L.A.B. All had a putter baby. A guy can dream. Keep me posted on what you think. Trust it and love it.
I haven't been making many birdied either! But then, I'm a 15 handicap, so maybe that's not because my putter doesn't stand on it's own... LOL How much slope can this handle on the green and still stand? Most birdies guess: 6
wtheck. i paid significantly more for an older model. One thing is the black carbon fiber shaft gets really ugly after a couple times using it. Also, its quite uncomfortable using the aligning technique playing with others, like it doesn't seem "cool" its annoying. But overall its a really good putter. Wish they'd pay me for this review!
a stand up putter is not a gimmick at all.I have always had a terrible allignement, specially in short putts.Since I bought a stand up putter I hole many more putts, I strongly recommend it
Love your videos, I usually watch them on my TV so I dont have a chance to "Like". etc! So what happened to this putter, you dont seem to have it in your bag!
I’m a face balanced mallet putter guy. I have been for thirty years. That’s gimmicky. Get professionally fitted for your putter, and buy the one that fits you best. That’s your best chance of holing more putts. AND PRACTICE!
Agree, I got one that had toe hang (obviously didn’t know this was a thing as a beginner) and just always struggled. then used my buddies face balanced mallet and my misses where so much better and less if them. Got fitted and realized I needed face balanced and upright and seriously dropped 6-8 putts regularly.
Just not having to lay it down on a towel in the mornings would be nice. I'm more about finding a putter that helps me the most with distance control. Of course I love making birdies but eliminating 3 putts will help my game the most right now
So now instead of spending time lining up the line on your ball toward the hole, you will spend an equal amount of time lining up the stand up putter toward the hole. Both contribute to slow play.
There is a 100% chance these stand alone putters will be deemed illegal by usga in a couple years. Don't get me wrong they are awesome and a brilliant design but there is no way they stay legal for long. They will go by the way side like belly anchor putters
How is armlock? I want to try it, but for what ever reason when I try an armlock I’m at a store I just feel confused and uncomfortable hahaha. I might not just be smart enough for it haha
All these gimmick clubs take the skill out of the game. Next will be already filled in score cards. Let’s make the hold 4 inches wide. 6 hour rounds coming up
So, buy this and all at once you can read a green better than ever, and, you now have a perfect stroke! Oh brother. Buy this and I have a bridge for you too! How stupid can people be?
Extra 5sec per putt? 36 putts, that's an even 5min. Even if it's 10sec per, that's 10min. Nothing to even consider or worry about. Shouldn't take much to look at it and go "oh, it's off slightly" I also don't understand how it takes away from skill? That's absurd. This isn't swinging the club for you. If we're saying this takes away skill, then all alignment aids do. So remove all dots, lines - anything from a club that indicates the center of the club.
@@Real28 agree, I don’t really know how this take skill away. Still have to swing it and hit the ball with it. Now if you got one those swingless ‘golf clubs’ now that’s taking the skill away haha.

I just glued some small metal weights on my odessy and I love it now !!

Hi.
Does the ultralight carbon fiber shaft make the putter very head heavy (super high swung weight)?
3 birdies. Another stellar video, thank you!
Love this clip!! You’re making me rethink this type putter for sure 🤔
I definitely like the idea of it. Need any help I can get

I just use the line marked on the ball. $2 for a sharpie pen $500 for the putter.
Curious if it will still stand of a new grip, like a superstrike, is used.
good question. me too.
When that bug landed on the putter grip @0:53 I secretly wanted to see it tip over 🤣
Hey Matt, what ever happened to with this Bloodline putter? Looked like you played lights out with it, but never saw you with it again.
there is something to be said about center shafted putters

After a nice drive on a par 5 I grabbed my 3 hybrid for shot 2 hit it sort of thin it hit a goose ,but I still made a birdie!!😳
That second hole just about sold me
Wow great endorsement! I need to check it out
I don't think I've seen you putt on a video better Matt (and you are freakin Mr. short game!)
My buddy bought the stand alone putter last year, it lasted two rounds and now takes up space in the garage. Tin Cup approved!
I feel like these kind of putters once you have a bad round or get something shiny and new they collect dust instantly
After a terrible club Championship because of my putting, i was thinking about buying one of These just yesterday
Got mine after watching this… omg.
Yesterday - Dropped about 100+ feet of putts on only 9 holes.
