Gentlemen: Each one of you … THANK YOU for your MHM. It was priceless! When I was an immature 21 I tried to take my life over a relationship. By the grace of God I survived and received help. I am now 74 with an incredible wife, two wonderful adult children and four incredible grandkids. Look at what I would have missed had I succeeded. I’m confident in saying your MHM in this show probably saved somebody’s life. Keep up the great work. This show is important and Thank You for your service. ✝️

What’s crazy is that you and Mover aren’t STILL in some pointy grey jets flying on the weekends. Hopefully the AF recognizes that after the Unconventional vid. I think I’m gonna petition every pointy grey jet unit in the southeast until you boys are back in the air, bcuz there’s way too much experience and knowledge sitting on the ground during a “pilot shortage!” I mean cmon, you guys WANT to fly! It’s a travesty! I’m sure you’d do just fine in a tx course in a Viper, and even Fat Amy if it got really bad lol, there’s just no local Guard/Reserve F-35 units near y’all. I say the powers that be give you two your own jets/maintenance at your local FBO’s as separate detachments! 🤣

It changed me forever. Your "Mental Health Min" really struck home with me because I was one of the people who could have helped and didn't. My brother in law Vern was a wild animal, but he got into meth and was so hard to talk to. I decided that I didn't wanna put the work into it, dealing with his wild off the handle behavior... even though he'd been my fishing buddy, roommate, karaoke pal, hunting advisor, and all around brother. On the morning of my brother's wedding, Vern removed himself from the equation, and I don't know if I've ever really completely forgiven myself for not trying.
Wow man, I'm sorry to hear about Vern. Make sure you take care of yourself. I lean pretty heavy on my church, family and friends when trying to work through life. God bless brother!

The turkey F-16 deal was contingent on turkey ratifying the nato membership applications of finland and sweden. Turkey finally ratified the membership application of sweden last week so that's why the F-16 deal was announced now (finland joined as the 31st member of nato last year).
This is great, I like the free flow conversations, and Wombat cant be taken down bullets bounce off this guy.

Turkey has their own licensed F-16 assembly line in Kayseri since the 90s. So it's a license to build 40 more and essentially parts.

Got my military fix for the week 🙂 had a hell of a week nearly being pushed out of my job but following Mover's make them tell you no and WOMBAT's hang in there, finish strong i've managed to defeat the a-holes and keep my job. Your fini flight was amazing and so glad you've managed to get that on tape for years to come and for your children to watch how bad*ss their dads were. On the world situation front, I've mentioned a few times that I am ex-army of 22 years. I have a 10-year-old who I don't want to grow up in a post-war world, however, I might not be able to do the running anymore but I can still shoot straight and was excellent at what I did. Think for my American vets that would be my MOS, I have already enquired what the rule would be about returning to active duty in a country's defence role and in the UK they are considering re-activating the Home Guard which was used during the second world war for men who didn't qualify for military service and I would be moved into one of those units. I have served in multiple conflicts so I am prepared but the thought of having to send our kids to war is too much, let us vets come back cause we know how to fight and we were trained in a different time which is what is needed now. RIP to the three service personnel who lost their lives.

My two cents on the mental health minute... Starting with the participation trophy generation, we in America live in a society where we don't force anyone to be in an uncomfortable situation, that may be conflict, that may be stress, etc. We don't force that type of challenge on an individual and they don't have the learned response that there is a way through the confident that there is a way through the struggle, so I'm not sure why. We're surprised when people get to the end of their rope that they don't see a way out of it if they're forced into that situation and they've never been short of that situation before. I think we're blind if we don't accept part of that responsibility as a society.

As a person whose life was forever changed by a near fatal tbi i have to say i dont believe there is such a thing as a minor traumatic brain injury.... Having known many other veterans who endure with them.

I don't even want to imagine what the world would be like if we fought WWII like our armed forces are being forced to deal with modern day conflicts. When politicians micromanage the experts at warfighting, the result is never good.

You guys gotta get the whole crew of retirees together, and buy a t-38 into a civil reg to get to fly pointy jets again.
For the C160 both props are spinning. The frame rate of the camera messes with how it appears on video.
So I'm not the only one who noticed that "the trailer was longer than the movie". But at least some of the footage was different.

Mover….your missing out if you don’t check out Masters of the air. It’s not a CGI fest like Redtails or some crap. It’s very much a “Band of Brothers” series. Very well acted and written. Don’t notice the CGI when watching because it’s well done and well timed. I ridiculousness for effect basically

Wombat! It's a guy who has a good channel, Ward Carroll. He was involved with the professional Navy publication, "Proceedings." He seems like a good guy and highly connected from what I can tell.
For the drones they could have docking that auto-swapped batteries along routes. And the swapped batteries could charge, allowing the drones to continuously do their route with only brief stops.
