I just had the PAE procedure May 3, 2022. Still waiting for the promised prostate shrinkage. I was told it may take 3 to 6 months for full shrinkage benefits. Time will tell.

How do you get a Urologist to recommend a PAE?

Urologist will probably not recommend a PAE. That is done by an Interventionalist Radiologist (IR). They are in direct competition with Urologists for your BPH business. Just contact a IR directly yourself, if you can find one who does the PAE procedure. They are hard to find. I just had the PAE procedure May 3, 2022. I called UNC to set up an appointment but they said I needed to be referred by my Urologist , I have had a Urolifit 5 years ago and he wants to do another.. Lowery Keep us informed of your progress!

No need for a referral from your Urologist if you are within network. You can just call us at
