I was flying Emirates, Qatar, Lufthansa, SWISS and Co, but I have to say for me SIA is the BEST airline in world. Their aircraft always look brand new, very very well maintained, in perfect shape and their flight crew is always... and I mean always, near to perfection! what a great review, good flight and always save landings Sir! greetings from Vienna, Austria :-)
Well, they should wake the pax up and insist they buckle up. Off topic: I shall never forget the Turkish Airlines FA who woke me up, while I was sleeping in their lie-flat business seat, buckled up, on my side, facing away from the aisle and towards the illuminator, to tell me to put my mask on! I've never been this mad on a flight.
I just love the bloopers at the end of each video. Oragami sleep positioning was the term Jeb was looking for. His repertoire is well founded, but I saw his mental Rolodex spinning. Great job as always 👏
Hey Jeb Brooks, I am a huge fan, I have been watching you ever I was 7 in 2020, and I still do in 2024! I am in Georgia 40 mins away from ATL and you came there that's amazing, I mean I've never met you but it's amazing that you came to ATL airport! Again huge fan!!!!😃😀😁BYE God bless!
Jeb, I loved your first "World's Longest Flight" video. It' seven better now to see you and Suzanne doing it together! Another fantastic video in the books. Well done, sir!!
As I am going to go to your country and plan to board Amtrak, I watched some of your videos. All of them were so informative and entertaining. I just appreciate your optimistic and straightforward attitude. Plus, you might have the best voice in the RUclips world.
Without a doubt the best airline "You Tubers" at present (sorry Sam Chui)--informative, very well presented and most importantly honest and down to earth. Great work in my humble opinion.
I was lucky enough to fly Toronto-O’Hare-Auckland-Vancouver-Toronto a couple of months and my flight was Air NZ in and out of Auckland which was phenomenal but life would be just that bit more perfect if there was ever a Toronto-Auckland direct! Thanks as well for your awesome videos, I really enjoy watching them! Keep up the great work!
I took this flight several times, back when it was an A340-500 and flew from Newark. Flying over Russia was still a thing and they flew over the North Pole. It was always amazing to pass through 12 time zones in 10 minutes, as we crossed over the top of the world.
Thank you Jeb for all your work and continuously uploading videos taking us with you wherever you guys go! I really enjoy watching your content you guys are very genuine folks and i can’t wait to see more of your reviews!
I alway enjoy your videos. I noticed your trips are always in first class, It would be nice on the long flights to be in the coach class and to experience what alot of passengers will be experiencing. Because alot of people fly in economy class. Thank you
I’m fascinated by the logistical challenges. 1. How does Singapore staff this flight? Are there rotating FA’s? 2. Meals- with a la carte meals available, how do they know which meals to stock? At least “book the cook” helps them in this regard. My oldest brother lives in Maui and my younger brother in Sydney. I live in Miami and always break up the flights to visit them , as I would rather sleep in a comfortable hotel than get just 4-5 hours of fitful sleep on a jet. I’d rather dine in a cozy restaurant than have airplane meals. Plus breaking up a very long trip reduces jet lag. And I do travel business class for all international travel.
I did the reverse the reverse of that flight SIN/JFK. My flight had really strong tailwind and we made it in 16 hour 50 minutes, arriving an hour ahead of schedule. My outbound flight to TPE took only about 45 minutes less because of the strong headwind. The best seats on SQ A350s are the ones at the front of the cabin, like 19A or 19K. The service on board is impeccable. I slept for maybe 8 or 9 hours and read for most of the rest of the trip.
Just one correction on the route. As far as I know, nowadays these flights from New York to Singapore always cross the Atlantic and fly over the European and Asian continents. The previous routes over the North Pole and the Pacific required using Russian airspace... which Singapore Airlines does not use.
i visited the singapore national museum last september, which singapore airlines offered an a380 cabin as an exhibit for their special exhibition about travel in singapore, what an awesome to create a room in a airplane carrying hundreds of passengers.
Just imagine 18hrs in economy class. At least you guys were in business class so you could stretch your legs, have more space and could eat more food than the tiny meals they serve in economy class.
I think for a flight like this 1st class and to have that bed, is the only way; you need to stretch out. What a privilege to fly that way. Jeb, you never seem to lose your sense of adventure and fun when you fly.
Thaks for consistantly giving us great reviews! Felt a bit familiar as i saw out the window and spotted all the ships in the harbour as you were approaching Changi.
Love the quick service. I flew Polaris from Dulles to Brussels last year and it was a great experience, but they didn't conclude service until maybe three hours left on a barely seven-hour flight.
Thank you for sharing another awesome video. Grately appreciated. Jeff: I’ve got a new beautiful watch last Christmas(Tissot). Thank you for inspiring me to fly more and enjoy time pieces more and more. You and Suzanne together keep up the awesome endless adventures and always good work !!!!
Great video as always, Jeb & Suzanne. I was very fortunate to get SQ24 in business class from SIN to JFK on a steal of a point redemption deal last October. To make it even better I was able to switch to bulkhead seat 19A at check in. Row 19 does not have that awkward footwell restriction making it by far the roomiest location on the aircraft. They are bassinet seats and are therefore blocked from pre-booking until check-in. I recommend checking in early to try to get this row. That said, there is always a risk that there will be an infant in a bassinet nearby so remember to pack your earplugs.
Singapore airline is top notch. I did LAX to Singapore and everything went amazing. Plenty of food and snacks. Plenty of drinks and water. They have eye mask and other small treats to all the passengers. Bathrooms were checked and cleaned like every hour. Toothbrushes in the bathrooms. Just another level of amazing.

I can't imagine being on a flight this long even in business class! I've heard so many good things about Singapore Airlines, though! Thanks for bringing us along. Always fun to watch a Jeb and Suzanne video! I'd love to stay at the TWA sometime even for just a day visit! :-) Ahh, JFK T4, it's so fun to go from B to A gates or vice-versa...
Qantas nonstop flight from Sydney Airport to London's Heathrow Airport seems poised to reign as the world's longest flight. clocking in at a whopping 10,576 miles and 20 hours long.
Thanks for your report. As for the slanted seating, this is one area where I prefer SIA's regional to the long-haul business class seat. The regional seat does not require you to stand to have the bed set up, all you need to do is push a button. And the IFE screens there appear touch screen. I think though you with the IFE system used in here you can set it up in such a way to make your phone or tablet a remote.
Watching this in Singapore 25 hours before our direct flight back to EWR. Our inbound flight flight was a dream, didn’t feel like a 18 hour flight.

His longer flight new record signapore 😘
