    Hi Kyle.
    Just a hint for ya.
I'm from NS. And currently own a scout kettle as well.
When boiling water in kettle, place the handle on the opposite side of the kettle away from the spout.
That way you won't get a burn from the flame or steam burn as you pull up the handle when you remove the kettle from the stove base.
    Cheers
    Chris

Great Job kyle. You can't beat Homemade bread dipped in canned moose. Myself and a buddy just did up 40 more cans last week. I'll send you out some when I have another "care" package for you. A few tips, I just cut the lid of the can half way then tip it up so you have a good grip surface. Also, as Simply Outdoors offered, green boughs or a few sticks under the base keeps it nice and sturdy. Glad you enjoyed it.
We just got a bunch of new stopper plugs that are vented and whistle when the kettle is boiled. I'll make sure you get one.

Lovely vid. I've used a Kelly kettle for a good few years now. Make sure it's full of water to avoid damage to it. Also pine comes are fantastic as fuel. Really enjoyed the vid. Best wishes from Ireland

Great video, interesting to see the Keely Kettle (which I've never seen before), and motivates me to get the kids out for a cookout soon. Good filming by your cousin.

Moose, home made bread, and a mug of tea in the woods with good company. You can't get much better than that.

I saw a Kelly Kettle couple years back. used. They don't wear out quick, and even this old one was pricey for me.
    Wonderful day out looks great.
Get a patent on those gloves quick!

I can remember several times I'd a liked to have had that kettle while I was out hunting and had a ways to get back to camp; just a little something warm in the belly would get you revved up again.....
