I’m only 11 years old and I want to become rich so I started reading books about finance and self discipline and now I know everything about money so wish me luck on my journey thanks 😊
Cool. You got this! 🙌🏻
@@seanlovesrealestate thanks
Do not listen to this RUclipsr. Just bad generic advice in general. No value added.
I wish you luck
Wow I didn’t know you were kicked out of school, not what I was expecting and inspirational that you came back from that
Yea, it was a rough time lol. But luckily I was able to use that year off wisely and graduated the year after that. During the year off, I learned how to code and even got a full-time internship at a large defense contracting company. By getting kicked out of school, I had time to reflect on what I wanted to do with my future and I learned that working full-time was not for me. It also gave me the time to start reading books about financial freedom and having a bigger mindset. Looking back, it was probably the best thing that happened to me!
I am kid trying to learn about real estate. My parents are trying to find a house to rent or airbnb. Your channel has helped us tremendously. Coming from a person like you how you got kicked out of school for hazing and how your parents split up at a very young age and you still turned out great. My dad growing up didnt grow up with parents he grew up with bad friends and taught him how to steal cars and stuff like that. He had to flew to america at the age of 13 and his aunt kicked him out of her house when he was 14 years old. After everything he went through he is like you (sean) and teaching other people about real estate. I wrote this comment to tell you (sean) thank you for teaching us (viewers) about real estate and putting effort into your videos to teach us about real estate.
Amazing story! I appreciate you sharing your story. Keep on learning and don’t give up until you reach your goals. If I can do it, you and your family and can definitely do it too! 🙌🏻
Appreciate you sharing your story. This is very inspiring! Would love to see more videos about your real estate journey.
Happy to inspire other people. Don’t give up and keep pushing. 💪
I’m a young 10 year old trying to learn about Real Estate. All these tips you’ve given us will be a major factor in the future.
Keep on learning! ☺️
I bought my first home in 2020. Now I’m building my fourth home right now. I learned everything from RUclips and Google all by myself. I want to get into buying apartment units but i fee like it’s so much harder than single family homes. Please make some videos on apartment units. Thank you!
That's awesome! I was thinking of getting into apartments in 2018 but the numbers didn't work for me. We might get into it in the future though!
I’m an Asian girl making 6 figure however I feel like a slave working with a toxic boss in corporate America . My time is never my time and no piece of mind … I wanna be like you, hopefully I can get into real estate investing . There’s nothing like being your own boss
That’s actually true. My wife and I were once working full-time until we decided to both quit our jobs and focus on being entrepreneur. I shared my story here. ruclips.net/video/mf6VGfit4E8/видео.html
@@seanlovesrealestate ever considered making an online course for learning Property investment start to finish for free?
We do have a free masterclass that you can check out when you have time. www.goodsweethomes.com/how-to-buy-your-first-rental-property-masterclass/
Awesome story, I was foolish and opened up a shop with my 100k savings. Now I'm so far in debt, So now I'm trying to learn how to buy rentals with no money down to get started.
Thanks for watching! I also failed multiple times. Every investment comes with risk so just make sure you don’t over leverage. It’s better to try and fail instead of having the regret of not trying at all. Best of luck!
Great video! I really liked this one. We all make mistakes. It’s the few who learn from them and prosper. Awesome story of your life. Keep up the dream and making good content.
Thanks Taylor, I really appreciate it! I believe that we live in a world of infinite second chances, so as long as you're doing the right things, everything will eventually work out!
@@seanlovesrealestate Exactly! My wife and I are on a similar journey trying to start a real estate business and leave our day jobs in banking. We are in the beginning stages. Your videos are very helpful. Any alternative advice for me? We have a good amount of capitol just not sure how to start or make the right move. Thanks!
Awesome! Are you also investing in stocks? As for me, I split my investments and not put all my eggs in one basket. And before quitting my job, I made sure I’m in the position to be able to sustain my finances. Best of luck to you and your wife!
Thanks Sean! Yes, we have been investing in the stock market for about 10 years now. We both have Roths and Traditional IRAs as well. Looking to start in real estate to grow passive income and build a legacy for our future family. Florida is where we are thinking to start our long term rental journey. We know the area well.
Oh wow! I think you have a great plan in place. Real estate is the way to go. When the time is right for the both of you, start taking action and achieve that dream!
I am 14, and i have big plans for live. For that i need a lot money, and know about financial freedom. Thank you, Sean Pan. I am going to start my life like that. You changed my life.
Continue learning while you’re young! By enhancing your knowledge at this age, you’re already ahead of the curve. 🙌🏻
This video is very inspirational. I am sharing this with my Kids (22 and 16 years old) to learn from you.
I appreciate how open you are with your story. Very real!
great story Sean. Keep on growing.
Yes! I appreciate you watching! ☺️
But how did you scale to make $1M ?? What was your strategy? You didn't explain that in detail.
It was a combination of investing in stocks while the market was recovering and purchasing real estate that had tripled in price since I purchased it. As an example, I bought my first rental for ~$80K and it is now worth ~$250K. I bought it with a loan but am able to keep all of the upside.
@@seanlovesrealestate All your loans for multi family are conventional loans? 25% down?
Thank you for sharing your investment story. Can I ask how did you find the real estate and how did you get the down payment? Did you use HELOC or equity loan?
That's what I was looking for him to explain.
Thanks for watching! I found my first deal through an agent that I met on BiggerPockets. I worked for several years and invested in the stock market (index funds) to grow my net worth to the point where I had enough saved to fund the downpayment and closing costs myself.
That is so cool. I am slowly working on saving for my first rental property but Bay Area seems out of my grasp 😅. Can you suggest how can I work on that problem? I would highly appreciate any advice or mentorship.
Thanks for watching! I started by house hacking, which is where you rent out extra rooms to friends/coworkers, etc. This enabled me to live in a high cost of living area (the Bay Area) for free and let me supercharge my savings. We actually don't own a lot of rentals in California because the price is so high, so we started looking out-of-state.
Very impressive story, man! It sounds like you had an entrepreneurial mindset right from the start. I didn’t really start thinking investing and real estate until I turned 28 and was in my first year out of law school when I started working in the legal profession trying to pay back the ridiculous student loans I took out. Lawyers get paid based on billable hours, which basically makes them glorified hourly workers. 😬😂
Thanks for watching! I don’t want to get stuck working in a 9-5 job. I remember watching a video of Erika Kullberg about those student loans! Best of luck on your journey! 💪
This is one of the most realistic and personal videos I've come across. Thank you.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Shout out to you sean seem like a great guy & thanks for all your shared information
I appreciate that! ☺️
Thank you for sharing your story 🙏

Amazing video, and story man, really inspirational.
Appreciate you watching. Keep grinding and reach that goal! 🙌🏻
This is a huge inspiration to me i thought it was going to be WAAYY harder but u have shown me that if u add the effort and determination to something you can do it and i am going to look for a way to make money the same way you did or so ty so much for the inspiration and i love ur vids and ur channel.
Yes! You can do it!
Great video, its very inspiring Sean
Thanks for watching!
well Sean, you are definitely different than 90% of the ppl, great work!
I appreciate that!
What a tremendous story! I feel like I am in a similar position to you during the beginning of your journey. I am also making $300k in my job but i feel stuck and dont want to keep working for an employer for the rest of my life. My fiance and I bought a home in the bay area last year and I feel the shackle has tightened due to this. What would your recommendation be for me if we decided to take a on similar path to you and get into real estate investing?
Yes.
Wow that's very inspiring🔥💯
Thank you!
I have 700,000$ I v been researching weather I should go all in on real estate or the stock market. both have opportunities. real good video! Wish I was 20 years younger but never to late to start 👍
Thanks for watching! I like taking the middle ground and don't like to go all-in on any type of asset. Maybe split it 50/50 where you keep $350,000 in liquid assets (like stocks, cash, etc) and use the rest as down payments when purchasing properties. Best of luck!
I have 1000$ what should I do with them I don’t know how to real astate invest so could you do a video all about that?
Bro I want to be just like you! Im going to CSUN soon to finish my Electrical degree. Hopefully soon ima try to get into real estate as well. Wish you nothing but the best.
Thanks for watching, Sergio! Best of luck on your real estate journey! 🙌🏻

hey so, my one question is - how do i get into those "meet up" groups? Im interested in what exactly that meant. i want to get into one of them. this was said around 7:54
Hi Jema! You can go to Meetup.com and search for any local groups that interest you! I used to go to real estate investing meetups and product management meetups all the time in my 20's!

Wait if you also do youtube… Do you also earn FROM youtube and get more properties and stuff? (also other platforms)
Yes, but I only earn a little with youtube as I’m also paying for video editor etc. My purpose is to share my knowledge to people and help them achieve financial freedom through real estate investing.

Your video is very inspirational and I would like to become a private money lender and invest in property . Would you be able to provide any advice in this current t crazy market?
My best advice is that the operator is often more important than the deal. Make sure you vet your borrowers carefully before lending any money!
Do you have any advice for being an engineer? I would love to be an engineer when I’m older. And if I am an engineer is there enough excess money to save up and invest the stock market or real estate?
That's awesome! You'll definitely have enough to save and invest once you start your career.
do they pay the gas and etc of the house or do you doing it?
The tenants pay for their own utilities when it's a long term rental. For the Airbnb, I cover all of the utilities.
Hi, what was the military program that paid you while in school? I don’t believe ROTC Scholarships offer that…
It was called NUPOC (nuclear propulsion officer candidate). It wasn't ROTC
Wow, congrats on your Boeing Internship. I too want to work in Boeing Charleston, South Carolina as a Software manager and AI
That's awesome! I was just a humble test engineer. I might have stayed if I had a cooler job like yours :)
Bro is so rich i wish that the video was for now in 2024 bro i love your videos
Thank you! ☺️
I want to be successful but also have a very happy life and I have found that I enjoy studying things like investing, retail, stocks and other similar things! Again, if you have any advice that might help me in my future please let me know. Thank you so much!
That sounds interesting. Glad you find my videos helpful. Keep on learning and don’t be afraid of making mistakes. It’s part of the learning process!

You’re welcome. ☺️
It's hard if not impossible to replicate that now due to high interest rates and high prices
It's definitely harder, but check out this video to see how I would get into it if I had to start over in today's market: ruclips.net/video/by4jOuy4Zxo/видео.html
The 3 steps to become rich
1 work
2 invest some of your earnings in index funds every month
3 Hold your investments for 30 years
Consistency is key!

Thanks!
8:00 that's what you call a broker
Waiting for the Bay Area market update
Haha, I stopped doing those a year ago since I moved away from the Bay Area :)

hi
Hello!
How to become an engineer
Get an engineering course. I’m not sure if that’s what you’re asking 😂
@@seanlovesrealestatetips to be a good engineer
Congrats! You are fortunate. Unfortunately, your story has substanial survivorship bais, and you really don't talk much about the financial risk you were/are accepting. Most people cannot jump into real estate and become millionaires before age 30 per the pareto distribtion. Don't get out hopes up when statistically, odds are against us. The Fed Reserve stated in 2022 that the median net worth for age group under 35 is $13,900. Half of people by the age of 30 will have less than 10k net worth.
I just wanted to share my journey, which had plenty of ups and downs as well. From talking with other successful people, I've found that the common thread between them is persistence and positive thinking. As Henry Ford said: Whether you think you can, or can't, you're right!
I agree with Sean’s reply to your comment. I would also add that the fact that most 35 year olds have a $13k net worth is likely not due to trying investing and failing but due to making very poor financial decisions throughout their lives, not thinking about investing in their financial future, and not educating themselves about how money or investing works. So, the survivorship bias, if there is any here, is much less prevalent if you are actually considering the fraction of the population that went about it the way Sean and others (myself included) did. If you could poll only that segment of the population you would see a very high success rate. It is far more risky to rely solely on a W2 job than on real estate and other investments for financial success. Most people just don’t realize it.
Well.. u seem to have thrown determination out the window.. an avg job can make u 24k a year man.. stay optimistic and do not succumb to the fed norms .. cheers bro. I believe in u and hope you can see the process.. slow and steady is fine👍
Very impressive!
Thanks for watching! ☺️

I unsubscribed from you about a year and a half ago and checked in to see how things were going. And now I remember why I unsubscribed. I feel exhausted after watching your videos and out of breath. I probably complaining about 10 different videos you made where you just talk so fast and you don’t pause between sentences it’s just does constantly run on of words, and I have to pause constantly and rewind constantly to figure out what you’re saying. Take some public speaking classes!! Slow down catch your breath there’s no hurry
Thanks for giving me another shot! You can put it at 0.75x speed if you need it slower 😂
