I just grab it for Quest 2, but I really hope that they'll deliver also on Psvr2. This game with DFR, adaptive triggers, and advanced haptics would be a blast on Psvr2
I am tempted myself. Will definitely double dip for PSVR2.
PSVR2 definitely needs this game, the game's launch is already happening this month, so by the end of the year, if we don't have at least a confirmation that they are making a port for it, it will already cause a drop in PSVR2 sales because people think that the developers don't want to port their games to the platform.
Games like this need to be ported to all headsets for VR to progress

Great video! Hopefully content like this cuts down on the players who has no idea what the money does. The games fantastic, but it takes a while to learn the concepts, especially for players who hasn't played Warzone previously.
I think they should just change it to duos... that way solo queue/no fill isnt as punishing. I also get not splitting the player base
Especially when most player who own a headset don't have many friends who have one too
They should just add duos and solos alone

I have the quest version but I would love a psvr2 port of the game. I think it’s the perfect game for the headset because it’s a multiplayer shooter that u can get A LOT of replay value from. Not to mention it would look phenomenal (if done right) on the headset
Hey GT I know you've mentioned playing showdown on both PCVR and Quest 3 in the past, do you know if the game has any form of cross progression? thinking of double dipping so I can try the nicer visuals on PC but unsure if I'll keep my quest progress.
Oh my god, thank you for helping me figure out the decoding with the chips! I was wondering why I kept dropping one when i went to use two! I thought it extra points towards the perks at first!
Also: any reason why Caveman Studios won't let us buy Combat Coins? At least on Quest 3 standalone. I'd like to support them and buy a skin pack, but I've heard the only way to get them right now is legendary contract drops?

I LOVED contractors, I hope they port over the melee weapons to showdown eventually though. I was TERRIFYING with a machete in 5v5s and I’d love to rat around with a sword in Showdown someday. Also the BOW holy crap there’s so much good stuff from the first game that I hope they add in
Would love to see a technical comparison of the different versions of playing the game. Native Quest 3 install, Oculus pc app, Quest Games Optimizer version, Steamlink pc version, virtual desktop version. Graphics, ease of use, fps, lag.
The Meta version is crossbuy with Quest and PCVR, I also get much better performance with Oculus runtime games than SteamVR.

@@chan13153 Not yet and there's still no ETA, I'm using the Quest version for now as the SteamVR performance really isn't worth it.

3kx3xk at 90hz? Even at 2500 it seems to drain my battery ASAP

I normally stay away from VR multiplayer as thay die very fast. But this I'm going in. Hopefully many more will join the action. But it's my last chance I'm giving VR multiplayer 😅

I downloaded this game yesterday and have not been able to play anything past the tutorial. It immediately says disconnected. I've uninstalled and reinstalled multiple times and cleared the game data and still can't get anything after the tutorial. Getting frustrated lol
What’s your quest games optimizer settings?
didnt try qgo...but i did set in sidequest 3000x3300 72hz and was sharp as fook and played ok
2560, 90fps, unlocked or Highest CPU and GPU and dynamic fov on Low

@@DrMacabreDefinitely native, but QGO helps a lot, not enough though and it eats battery faster.
I can vouch for quest 3 version, usually play pcvr but for this I didn’t want a cable & I’m honestly stunned at how good the game can look natively. Genuinely better than a lot of pcvr titles

Currently trios only
@GAMERTAGVR you can play solos, just uncheck the box that says fill teamates above where you click to start matchmaking...

@@Heisenberg0086 oh you'll still be up against teams, but there are other solos too, as well as duos and trios...not sayin youre not at a disadvantage, im just sayin it can be done...

I cant get steam version to work. It just asks me to reconnect to servers. Yes I bought the game off of steam. Anyone who could help would be appreciated. Yes I click reconnect but it just asks me to reconnect again.

Contractors Showdown is different than Contractors VR...
Im worried that in the long run the game wont last long, 60 players per lobby for a vr game is kinda unreliable.

I think a lot of VR developers don't realise is that most people don't want to reload like in real life and just sit back and relax and play, there should be options for relax play vs VR full immersive.
Honestly I agree, but it should be capped to a speed so it isn't overpowered. If you get good at it, manual reloading should be faster than an accessibility option.
Do you play it on PCVR or on Headset??

i loved this game but solos is the only thing im interested in. in no way do i wanna hear all the 12 years old little boys screaming in their mics

i bought it again ..standalone version..not steam version..works way better.
