    Randall was tough as nails, and really had Chavez's number. He probably should have got the nod the 2nd time too. And that one Mexican judge that scored this fight for Chavez was a disgrace.

    • @scottodonnell7121
      @scottodonnell7121 Год назад +8

      Chavez deserved to lose, especially after a couple of questionable endings. Taylor and Whitaker both fought better than him but couldn't get the win. I think the judges got tired of helping him out. They admitted they called the Whitiker fight a draw because they were afraid of a riot from the mexicans in the stands. Pernell schooled JCC all night. His record is very overrated.

    • @TechieTard
      @TechieTard 11 месяцев назад +5

      @@scottodonnell7121 The Whitaker issue was a none issue. The commentators had it Chavez, the analyst at the ring had it Chavez, the commentators around the world had it Chavez and the JUDGES had it Chavez. Whitakers mistake was not engaging more. You have to score points to win and he spent a majority just evading. Randall showed everyone else how its done.

I think that's a u.s.a. thing because they whine all the Time. Another big error for Chávez AND he said It in an interview that he should've not accepted the Oscar de la hoya fight because he knew he was'nt ready until he healed the head bump big opening AND he fought de la hoya AND lost because he could'nt see because of the blood going to His eyes, the wound was'nt healed 100%, but hey It was'nt de la hoyas' fault. Same here, but looking back I see how great. Chavez was. He always moved one and a half steps forward after any step back, always pressing. He never seemed to be fazed by any solid punches. It was shocking to see him go down for a few seconds. He probably would have won a very close fight if he hadn't gone down from that great right by Randall. Randall really put it in the work in this fight though and matched blow for blow, and didn't give up when it seemed like Chavez was unfazed. A great fight. Not really. Pernell Whitaker had already thoroughly whipped JCC's ass and won almost every round in an absolute robbery of a draw.

    Everyone has a plan until you get hit in mouth
    CANELO can't never be compared to The Mexican Legend Chavez.
    Julio Cesar Chaves said it in one of his documentary way back in Netflix.
    I fought every one, I even fought Gay people.
    They robbed Castilo fight vs Floyed Mayweather.
    Castillo was nothing compared to what Chavez was.

    Chavez was a great fighter no doubt, but he was going to be that without all the controversial decisions smh.
    1) The Meldrick Taylor ending-highly controversial.
    2) Sweet Pea ending was highly controversial.
    3; This fight was highly controversial. Randall was beating him without any point deductions or knockdown but somehow, someway, it was a split decision after all that.
    4) The Randall rematch was controversial cause most had him winning that fight until Chavez quit and still won.
    Again, Chavez Sr. Would’ve been a great regardless and all the controversial endings weren’t his fault, but it just look bad to all the unbiased fans of the sport.
