@donovan4222 although I agree with you that Kabuto is broken, Obito at this point is on a level of strength that rivals Madara He could Kamui away from Kabuto's sound based genjutsu and phase right back afterwards. He is phasing through inorganic animation every time. Kabuto has great reaction and sensory feats so he might not get caught off guard without distractions. But that's not a problem for Obito. He can use the soul dragon via Gedo Mazo. He has firestyle, bomblast dance, on par with the fire style majestic destroyer flame He has the six paths abilities, which he can use as diversionary tactics for kamui He has chakra rods he can use to nullify movement. The list goes on brother... Obito was begging for that fight vs Kabuto, but Kabuto knew his place. You can see it in their conversations.
Itachi has many different things in his arsenal that can instantly kill minato unlike minato’s arsenal. Starting with Amaterasu, tsukuyomi, kotoamatsukami, IZANAGI, susanoo, totsuka blade, Crow Clone Technique, Body Flicker, Tactical Genius, etc. Itachi doesn’t even have to look at you to put you in a genjutsu “explanation ahead”. Comparing by the time of their deaths because comparing edo tenseis is irrelevant because both would be immortal. 1. FTG mark: being marked by minato ftg and lose is the greatest joke i have heard. 14 year old killer bee was marked by minato and still end up in a tie with him, during the war minato also marked the kunai under madara’s feet which is basically marking him because madara wasn’t aware, minato tried a sneaky attack and lost an arm because of that. if the oponnent you marked is at same speed or faster than you then its irrelevant to mark him. If 14 year old killer bee wasn’t defeat by it, why would adult itachi? The only relevant opponent minato marked and defeated was 13 year old kid Obito and adult Obito that was being held by black zetsu. That’s it, if marking with ftg means victory he would hit killer bee and madara. Ftg mark ain’t doing shit even because susanoo can instally appear. “Remember Kirin which travels at speed of light?” Do y think minato ftg + rosengan hand gesture are speed of light? Definitely NOT. itachi can also use 15 kunais at once to counter any ftg kunai coming towards him, itachi way better in the kunai game. “As shown many times”. by the way I think ftg is ass because using something else to teleport only delay the whole teleportation process. Itachi Crow Clone Technique which is his signature clone technique, where his body disperses into a flock of crows that confuse the enemy negates FTG fatal attack. 2. NAGATO/ killer bee/ Naruto: Itachi fought and saved Killer bee and kmc1 Naruto which was canonically already faster than minato and also defeated NAGATO which is stronger than both Naruto/killer bee which canonically Naruto already stronger than minato. it’s pretty simple here, itachi fought killer bee which minato wasn’t able to defeat even when he was only 14 year old, itachi also fought Naruto kmc1 which was faster than minato canonically. And itachi relative in speed with adult killer bee and kmc1 Naruto which canonically was said to be faster than minato. 3. AMATERASU: Amaterasu can literally burn all those ftg kunais. Minato will not be the target of Amaterasu but the things he use to teleport. Amaterasu just need to target the things he uses to teleport which are either stoped or not fast enough ones meaning easy target. Kunais are like 5 inches, the whole hideout area is like a few hundred thousand sqft and he burned all that area when he was spamming Amaterasu for over an hour to burn all that area so I don’t see why itachi can’t burn a few kunai with absolutely no effort. Again remember the size of uchiha hideout. 4. SUSANOO: susanoo and kyuubi are at the same brutal power level and guess who killed minato? Wasn’t it kyuubi? Susanoo fast enough to react to Kirin speed of light can definitely react to a rosengan. 5. GENJUTSU: I don’t see why minato wouldn’t get caught in a genjutsu, just because Obito and madara canonically never tried genjutsu on their main opponents doesn’t mean itachi wouldn’t. Itachi is literally the dude that uses the most genjutsu itachi genjutsus are 4: kotoamatsukami, tsukuyomi, IZANAGI, and regular genjutsu. Itachi has 4 ways to put minato in genjutsu: 1/ by crows flying everywhere like he did to Naruto filing the whole field of fight with genjutsu crows, 2/ finger genjutsu like he did to kakashi, 3/ looking in the eye genjutsu and 4/ kunai reflection as show before. Do y really think minato can escape all these ways of itachi genjutsu? Itachi the master of genjutsu? Think again buddy because the series showed you don’t need to look at him to get caught on his genjutsu just ask kakashi and Naruto. I hope minato is not bold enough to try to fight itachi with closed eyes because itachi will obliterate him. Explaining more: 1.Finger Genjutsu: Itachi can cast genjutsu by simply pointing at a target, bypassing the need for direct eye contact. 2.Crow Genjutsu: He frequently uses crows in his techniques, allowing him to create illusions involving flocks of crows. 3.Izanagi: izanagi dont need anything to activate and he can activate in in case he get killed, and then counter attack the attack that killed him at the right time so he can kill his opponent. Lose an eye for a definitive victory. izanagi can also be activated before the fight even start like madara did. and y can also include conditions. you can actually shape reality with this ability. OHER ITACHI ABILITIES: 1. Crow Clone Technique: Itachi's signature clone technique, where his body disperses into a flock of crows that confuse the enemy. This negate FTG. 2. Body Flicker Technique (Shunshin no Jutsu): Itachi can move at extreme speeds, appearing to teleport short distances. 3. Tactical Genius: Itachi is renowned for his incredible intelligence, strategic mind, and ability to anticipate and counter his opponents' moves with precision. itachi is always 5 steps ahead of everyone. CONSIDERATIONS: People like to bring up reaper death seal which is the only thing minato have that will actually work here but so would totsuka blade. Both are top level sealing jutsus and as soon as minato uses it itachi will also use totsuka blade and both will seal each other at the same time. Also people like to mention that Raikage dodged Amaterasu and minato is faster than Raikage. First of all minato body speed is not faster than Raikage body lightening speed. There is a difference between speed and teleportation. When Raikage fought minato, minato was teleporting everywhere. That’s is not speed that’s teleportation. Body lightening enhancement speed is a better counter to Amaterasu than FTG teleportation because FTG uses kunai to teleport delaying the whole teleportation process and Amaterasu is going to target the kunai instead of minato himself. Resuming, raikage speed can’t hit minato teleportation, but raikage speed can dodge Amaterasu, but minato can’t dodge Amaterasu because minato himself will not be the target of Amaterasu but the kunais he uses to teleport. Those kunai need to be thrown and they gonna burn before reaching itachi and thats for sure.
Do people just forget that Itachi can just point at people and put them in Genjutsu as well? That they don't have to look at his eyes? Against the trio he opens up by putting Kakashi in Tsyukiomi, points at Naruto and takes him out of commission because he's done it before, then just finish off Yamato.

You and others that make this argument are leaning too much in the "point finger and GG" thing. If that were true then why did Itachi bother actually fighting Nagato together with Naruto and Bee? Or Kabuto? Why didn't he just finger genjutsu Nagato and Kabuto? I'll tell you why: because it won't work against certain opponents. Heck, in the very instance of the finger point genjutsu, Itachi only did it on Naruto and didn't bother to do it against Kakashi for example. There are conditions to that specific genjutsu application. That said, I don't see Itachi losing to Kakashi, Naruto and Yamato at that point of the story. He clears them.
@@jakesully007 Against Kakashi he didn't even have to raise his finger and put him in tsukuyomi. Which took Kakashi out of the fight. Whereas the finger point is moreso just to lock someone down for a bit. Against Kabuto that wouldn't have helped as much for one Kabuto has sage mode and could still sense everything happening even if put into a Genjutsu and once again still a short term distraction. Nagato is very much the same thing. Why didn't he use Tsyukiomi on him? Iirc Rinnegan offers some defense against Genjutsu. The only one we see truly working on them being the toad chant and the other times the Genjutsu failed on the paths of pain. Which we know for a fact Itachi can and has put Itachi and Naruto into Genjutsu and Yamamoto definitely isn't good enough to stop it. 🤷🏿 The other situation outside of scaling on why he didn't do it more is probably because Kishimoto forgot it was a thing. He does that a decent bit throughout Naruto.

Also, thank you so very much for mentioning those rinnegan rods that obito uses as it seems like no one does. They literally bind any chakra that comes into contact with them. Also kabuto has no way of getting past obitos uchiha flame barrier, especially if a fully transformed gyuki couldn't(not that i think he'll need it anyways)
The point of the fight with kabuto is to not un alive him though 🤷♂️ the result/ outcome of the fight should be the same here in my opinion not just demolish him.

In this specific example where Itachi is taking Obito place, so Itachi with the nine tails then yes Itachi is winning. It’s crazy to think that Itachi with a pet nine tails would lose to Minato.
Yeah, Itachi never underestimates his opponents, and Obito did. Itachi has a higher battle IQ, with IQ feats relative to Minato himself. Itachi would probably look to use Tsukuyomi asap.

Itachi is better and stronger than Obito when it comes to genjustu. This weird narrative needs to stop with these Obito high balls. I also don’t think them really saying Obito is the only alive Uchiha able to control the nine tails with genjustu is a means of power scaling. From the sounds of it they are hyping up Obito as the OG Madara and has that in the data books as past feats. Outside of Sasuke, Kaguya and Madara infinite Tsukyomi, Itachi has the most impressive genjutsu showing in the show. Koto is top tier but has some underwhelming moments for the Shisui fans.
I agree in the outcome you got to with the Sasuke fight. I just don't agree with the work behind it. Using Sasuke vs Kakashi at 5 kage summit for feats while saying "Oh Kakashi was mental nerfed because of having to fight his student AND Sasuke just got 4 hate buffs and some chakra from Kirin." Is 100% ignoring the fact that it was stated as Sasuke was headed to the 5 Kage summit he still had not recovered from the Bee fight AND he just fought the 5 Kage and is fatigued when fighting Kakashi there. He didnt even have his sharingan active for hand to hand exchange. I feel like 5 Kage summit Sasuke getting slept on in the sense that yall trying to compare him to Kakashi at this time. Itachi is dead when the no can currently control kuramas chakra statement is made. Its ambiguous if he can or not control but obito would be included in the statement as he is alive. Ao who knows of obitos feats of controlling yagura(having broken the genjutsu) still thought itachi was the biggest genjutsu threat.

So either it's not referring dead shinobi(as the db uses currently in the statement) or kurama simply has become more resistant to control.
Minato probably can't seal away Itachi's eyes since he never tried or thought to seal away the sharringan during the fight with the Masked Man or Madara in the War Arc.

This makes Itachi at least relative to Minatos base speed considering the “off guard” attack your eluding too can actually be applied here cuz Itachi just dodged Bee while Naruto was attacking him at the same time with his base sharingan mind you
The instance with Bee is not definitive proof or even evidence of him actually reacting to or countering FTG. When he pushed Raikage away from the hit, his tentacle got cleaved cleanly and marked at the same time. It's like saying if Bee used his own arm to push away Raikage he would have lost his arm. Not much of a counter. Bee "reacting" to FTG is more like you dodging a bullet when it's fired from a gun. You simply have to move before the trigger is pulled. The 2nd instance with Bee (the "stand-off") only came into being because Minato was talking to Raikage while holding a kunai above Bee's head. That short line of talking is enough time for Bee to place a sword ready for Minato's possible attack. That's not an actual reaction/counter. But even if we disregard the instances with Bee. Minato has shown in the Obito fight that he can come out of teleportation already attacking rather than teleport first and then attack. The instance I'm referring to is after he hit Obito with rasengan then marked him and then immediately attacked him straight out of the teleportation while placing the contract seal. Bee won't react to that until it already happened, just like Obito. Then there's 8th gate Guy charging at Six Path Madara and bending the air so much that Madara can't even do anything. Yet Minato teleports in between, turns around to catch the orbs, then teleports out before Guy got any closer even though he's charging at Madara. There's no of evidence showing Itachi can react to that. It's things like this why people rank Minato above him. There's just way more evidence to support it compared to the opposite. Even in Boruto era there are people who can solo all of Shippuden combined yet they still can't counter teleportation. The so called "godlike speed" characters (how databook refers to Minato as the greatest in godlike speed) with teleportation are just that cracked whenever there's any contest of speed.

Here is my thing about 5ks sasuke vs Kakashi I think everything was presented well. But i did wish you would have looked at how the anime interpreted that encounter. Where near blind no sharingan Sasuke was boxing the mental nerfed Kakashi and doing fine. Its not primary canon, but we saw more of how that level of canon interpreted it.
I think the bit about him being the same to edo is wrong because it literally says the reanimated shinobi comeback in a weakened state just like how the 2nd says it and his reanimation was stronger
and to be fair when switching positions itachi and obito, so itachi would have to be in Obito's starting position before appearing in the place where kushina was giving birth, we started by seeing Obito outside killing the ninjas who were protecting the place , Itachi would definitely be able to kill those ninjas too, but obviously not as quickly as Obito and silently, and unlike Obito who has kamui and crossed the barrier, Itachi doesn't have teleportation, so there would be no way for him to enter the room. silently, he could even try to use Susano to destroy the barrier, which would be bad for him for several reasons that I will mention: 1) Itachi has limited time to use Susano, in addition to spending a lot of chakra, his body is very painful, so he would already be losing an asset right from the start, not to mention that he probably wouldn't be able to break the barrier even with blows from his Susano, Minato and the Uzumaki's barrier are very powerful, we saw the younger Minato holding Kurama with 1 seal and it was unable to break the barrier with 1 blow, obviously Itachi's Susano doesn't have more strength, speed or defense than Kurama 2) also when using Susano it would be easy for Minato to notice Itachi's presence, so he would just teleport everyone who was in that room to another place, that way Kushina would give birth to Naruto safely, and he could still get some rest to recover the chakra spent while suppressing kurama for hours, Itachi simply would have nothing he could do to stop Minato, much less find him where he had teleported, because as we know, Itachi has no sensory abilities After Minato left his family safe, it would be easy for him to locate Itachi's position and go face him, and Itachi has nothing he could do to defeat Minato.

That Minato 9 tails speed feat doesn't really make sense to me. If he was really fast enough to blitz through the whole village and summon bunta on top of kurama's head with no FTG shouldn't he have also have been fast enough to save kushina and himself from getting stabbed by kurama? If he was that fast does that mean 14 year old obito is also faster then kurama since he was keeping pace with Minato? Like am i not getting something here?
Not saying i think Minato is slow or anything i just don't think he ran through the whole village to get kurama before dropping bunta with no ftg. I think its more likely he ported to a marker near kurama then got above his head. I could be wront tho idk.
Him saving himself and Kushina from being stabbed by Kurama didn't matter since they were moments away from dieing anyway. Obito wasn't as fast as Minato. That misinterpretation comes from a lot of people not focusing on what Minato explained and concluded to be the win condition of the fight, which was: striking a split second earlier with a precisely timed attack. Given that Obitio would stay intangible and only materialize at the last second (for his own safety as analyzed by Minato) to grab Minato for Kamui, Minato has to match Obito's speed for it to work. In other words, he had to run at Obito's speed to get the timing right and not his own speed. Think about it, if Minato actually moved faster than Obito then the strategy wouldn't work as the timing would be off (which actually happened prior to the final strike when he quite literally ran through Obito into the chains).

Itachi vs Pain 1. Itachi, Naruto & Bee Vs Nagato (controlled by Kabuto) There's a huge difference. Kabuto almost forgot about Chibaku (Planetary Devastation). The real Nagato wouldn't have just stood there like a puppet. Nagato has sensory to spot Kabuto for Itachi to find. He'll easily spot Itachi nearby. Not to mention, Amaterasu could get absorbed with a scroll, like how Jiraiya did after Itachi and Kisame ran away from Jiraiya's jutsu. I'm sure Jiraiya taught him about it. Raikage dodged Amaterasu against Sasuke, which means it's not as fast as Sasuke's Kirin (lightning). Gaara easily pulled out Madara out of his Susano'o. That means Itachi won't be perfectly guarded. Maybe Pain could pull him out because when he pulls, I don't think anything must enter Susano'o to grab Itachi, however, a push seems different. If Itachi's Totsuka blade can't reach the core of Pain's Chibaku, then he'll get trapped inside along with Susano'o. Susano'o won't be able to move. Visual genjutsu doesn't work on Rinnegan. (Proof): Naruto chapter 677 page 9 aka page 678. Infinite Tsukuyomi does not work on three things that were stated in the manga; Perfect Susano'o, Rinnegan and the reanimated (undead). All that legendary talk for what? The author, Masashi Kishimoto, stated that Pain is the strongest Akatsuki. "The strongest man in Akatsuki heads for Naruto." Some people try to curve this by stating the time when Itachi gave Naruto his power, but obviously, it was referring to Pain because he was FINALLY being revealed. The author wouldn't ruin the hype by stating, "Oh, I was referring to Itachi" because it would stop the exciting momentum. It wouldn't follow the flow. Even Black Zetsu was surprised that Obito made a backup plan incase Pain lost because he thought that no one could defeat him. Black Zetsu watched everything from the beginning of history. Here's another question. Why didn't Itachi use Tsukuyomi right after Nagato casted Chibaku (Planetary Devastation), nor at all? Itachi knew he had infinite chakra too. He could've disabled Nagato so easily with it. Itachi probably knew that it wouldn't have worked against Rinnegan. If he wasn't sure then he would've at least tested it out because it's better than risking death or being captured. Itachi used Amaterasu multiple times, but he wouldn't even use Tsukuyomi once? It's because he never used it that answers the question about Rinnegan able to block all visual genjutsu, including Tsukuyomi. Kakashi never put Rinnegan-Obito under genjutsu. Only one person can put the other person in genjutsu at a time, not both at a time. You can't have Obito put Kakashi in genjutsu WHILE Kakashi put Obito in genjutsu. It's one at a time. Obito was in CONTROL of Kakashi during that whole fight. It was all by HIS design to have Kakashi destroy his heart that Madara implanted. There are so many ways this fight can last long. Pain will keep reviving. Itachi will have a tough time catching him. Nagato, aka 7th Pain, can summon the Gedo Statue that's even bigger than Choji and his dad. Even they needed help. If used right, it can hurt a lot. Itachi's Yata Mirror is strong, but it doesn't cover everywhere. Susano'o can only handle so much against multiple attacks simultaneously. There are ways for Pain to grab Susanoo's arm that's holding the Totsuka blade, like his lizard's tongue or other animals biting it. Pain could even absorb away the Susano'o because Susano'o is chakra construct. Pain could use his Almighty Push hidden under the ground to blow away Susano'o while Itachi is being distracted fighting others. We all saw how much Itachi lost chakra each time he used his eye powers. Eventually, Itachi will deplete all his chakra. Pain will rip out Itachi's soul with one touch while the others attack (not all 6). Itachi can never waste his chakra against Pain. Nagato is from the Uzumaki clan, which carries the most chakra. If this fight drags, it'll come down to who has more chakra. Pain wins. (6 Pains) Itachi's two eyes versus 6 Pains + 7th Pain with All Powers. Izanagi will be useless against Chibaku because he'll just get pulled up again. It won't matter how long his Izanagi lasts. I doubt Izanagi and Izanami link all the Pains. Itachi might have to fight blind against the 7th Pain. And that's IF Itachi could figure out how to kill him without chakra. Either way, one touch is all Nagato will need to rip out Itachi's soul. Pull + Rip = dead. Or another Chibaku (Planetary Devastation) while hidden and ready to absorb powers. I mean the argue of obito having better gentjutsu based on him putting the 9 tails under genjutsu even though he has hashirama cells and a contract. Obito used genjutsu as a child itachi's team and itachi wasnt bothered. Not sure how obito who isnt known for genjutsu trumps someone who has several feats for the same.

I think this video is overrating minato and underrating Itachi too much. Let me explain Itachi is the most suitable person to counter Minato as the Flying Raijin works by placing a seal over a kunai to be thrown and then teleporting to where the kunai was thrown. From the beginning we have always been shown Itachi training with the kunai and being so strong that he can throw the kunai and immediately after, hit the same kunai thrown a second earlier with other kunai and hit all the targets and all this with his eyes closed. Kabuto himself in the battle against Nagato states "I thought that the greater field of vision provided by the rinnegan summons would be enough but Itachi is so good with the kunai that he manages to find a blind spot to use to hit the targets. He is actually too strong." To counter flying Raijin it would be enough to do what he has always done, that is, deflect the thrown kunai. And this is a very probable scenario as the power of the flying Raijin itself also depends on the user's ability to throw the kunai as the weapon mainly used for it. Itachi, being certainly with evidence and statements the best in this, he would have no problem deflecting the kunai thrown by Minato. In some battles, Minato throws kunai scattered across the battlefield to create a favorable scenario for the use of the flying Raijin. To counter this, Itachi could use amaterasu to make the points where the kunai are stuck unusable. minato is not immune to genjutsu and tsukuyomi and if he does what he's done in the fight against obito i.e. look his opponent in the eyes then it would be over for him. The only one who can fight without looking his opponent directly in the eyes is Guy, something Minato can't do. Furthermore, Itachi can create an illusion even just by pointing at you, or touching you, so it's not just the eye contact that matters. So Itachi can perfectly deal with fast people (Shisui who has better body flicker than Minato) and win via statements and feats in the novel. Then like I said Minato to kill his opponents uses mainly the flying Raijin with his kunai. Like he did against Obito or agianst Killer Bee and Ay. And that’s consistent since to kill someone Minato needs to teleport near him and the simplest way is to throw the kunai near the opponent and then teleport. So the flying Raijin techinque depends for the majority on the skills of the person in kunai and shuriken jutsu. Itachi is stated and shown through the entire manga to be the best user of kunai and to deflect kunai like it’s nothing with his eyes closed or to blitz Nagato’s summining’s vision with Kabuto admitting he’s the best. So Itachi can just deflect all of Minato’s kunai since he’s stated to be better than anyone in kunai and so better than Minato. To assume that Minato can kill Itachi without his kunai we have to concede the fact that Minato has prep time and so an advantage. The only way that he could is that Itachi let him do so, but that would never happen. Then in the fight against killer bee, minato gets behind him but killer bee succeded in reacting to him by pointing at him his sword. So even though minato teleported behind him, killer bee was still able to react to him and he didn’t got blitzed. That shows that if minato teleports behind or near Itachi, he can react to him like Killer bee did cause itachi has better speed and reaction speed than Killer bee. Without a doubt he can react to minato the same way bee did. So Itachi could counter the ftg with his kunai mastery and then he could also react to minato thanks to his reaction speed being superior to that of Killer bee. Then Ems Sasuke being above Itachi is contradicted by the Kabuto fight where Itachi showed in every aspect better feats than Sasuke. He was holding back to protect him the whole fight, guiding him and while also preparing the stages for the activation of izanami. Than Itachi in the databook statement says that he recognize Sasuke as his equal but that could just mean that he doesn’t see him like the little brother who needs protection but instead a skilled ninja like him who can cooperate and help him, more like a status thing. It’s also stated that with ems, Sasuke techniques and eye techiniques surpassed his own brother. For the eye techinque is referring to basic sharingan an mangekyo genjutsu but not to tsukuyomi who’s stated to be the strongest genjutsu by zetsu then for techinques we have taijutsu and ninjutsu. So Sasuke surpasses Itachi only in these aspectes and not in speed, battle iq, intelligence, tsukuyomi ecc…And especcially by feats in the Kabuto fight itachi is shown superior in combat than ems Sasuke, Itachi was shown more faster, reacting better to kabuto’s attacks, protecing Sasuke, telling him what to do, and all of that while suppressing his power and while preparing all the stages for the activation of izanami. Edo Itachi by scaling is shown above Ems sasuke without even going all out, edo Itachi who’s weaker than his alive healthy counterpart. Then we can scale Edo Itachi and so also alive Itachi without illness above Edo Madara since kabuto states that Itachi is the finer foil in his Edo tensei, meaning better than Madara who is also one of Kabuto’a Edo tensei foil. And in stating that kabuto mentions not only itachi’s intelligence but also his strength and jutsu meaning that Kabuto was also referring to itachi’s power when he states that his better than anyone of his Edo tensei. Itachi with that statement has a comparable scaling to that of minato of the video. Itachi like minato being above Edo madara who is relative to kcm2 level combatants. Itachi by feats is shown superior to Ems sasuke in the fight against kabuto. The same Ems sasuke relative to mastered kcm1 Naruto who’s above initial kcm2 Naruto by feats. So Itachi is in speed above mastered kcm1 Naruto meaning at least near kcm 2 level Naruto. So Itachi and minato speed is comparable since minato is relative to kcm2 Naruto speed but Itachi by being superior in speed to mckm1 Naruto (who’s above initial kcm2 Naruto) is at least near kcm 2 Naruto speed level. Itachi is more relative to minato than people think and is the perfect counter to the only real win condition minato has that is ftg, which is also the only jutsu, with the rasengan, that minato is shown using against people. All the sealing stuff is irrelevant since minato was never shown using any sort of seal jutsu against a man but only against kurama or tailed beast bomb. Minato was regarded as the fastest shinobi only because of ftg, his reputation of being so fast comes from him using ftg and not because his so fast with his normal speed, since we have no real proof or statements of him being that fast without ftg. Every time someone talks about minato’s speed is in reference to ftg. Shisui was stated to be the best body flicker user of all time meaning better and so faster than minato, and so the reputation of him being the fastest shinobi it’s not in reference to body flicker. Then in the battle against yellow mask obito we clearly see both of them going at the same speed, move at the same time and speed and even obito blitzing minato with his chains, with him escaping only because of ftg. If minato was really that fast normally, like it is explained in the video, he wouldn’t have needed ftg to escape from obito’s chain since he could have effortlessly avoid it with his normal combat speed or body flicker. Minato had the upper hand in speed only because of ftg since without it he was never shown moving faster or blitzing obito in the fight. So if minato is Kcm2 Naruto level of speed, also yellow mask obito is at that level since he was shown to move and run as fast as minato without ftg. But we all know that it doesn’t make sense to have yellow mask obito at kcm2 level of speed. 3. Then for the kurama feat where he summons gamabunta, there’s no real proof that suggest minato running through the entire village and jump so high to go above kurama. The only plausible explanation is him using ftg to do that feat or like teleport somewhere near kurama and then get close to him and throw a kunai over kurama, since to make a jump that high you need to be fucking goku or fly and we have never seen any shinobi jump so damn high with his normal strength. Then the fact that kurama haven’t even noticed him is because he was focused on making the bijou bomb so he wasn’t paying attention to anything
4. Then we have Itachi’s speed scaling. Itachi has shown in every aspect better feats than Ems Sasuke against Kabuto. He is shown superior in combat than ems Sasuke, more faster, reacting faster and better to kabuto’s attacks, while protecting his brother, telling him what to do, and all of that while suppressing his power and while preparing all the stages for the activation of izanami. Edo Itachi by feats is shown above Ems sasuke without even going all out, with all restrictions that comes from protecting Sasuke and preparing the activation of izanami, since from the beginning his goal was to put Kabuto under izanami and almost every action was for the activation of it. And that’s edo Itachi who’s weaker than his alive healthy counterpart that is taken into consideration in the video. Then Itachi in the databook statement, about Sasuke being equal to him, says that he recognize Sasuke as his equal but that could just mean that he doesn’t see him like the little brother who needs protection but instead a skilled ninja like him who can cooperate and help him, more like a status thing, and that’s supported by the fact that against Kabuto Ems Sasuke was not shown equal to Itachi in almost every aspect. The same Ems Sasuke was shown relative to mkcm1 Naruto who’s by feat relative and for some reasons above or at least faster than early kcm2 Naruto(the same early kcm2 Naruto who was compared to minato by kakashi). But even if we assume that minato is really fast like kcm2 Naruto without ftg, Itachi is not so behind that level. In fact, since he’s faster than Ems Sasuke who’s relative to mkcm1 Naruto, he should be at least near kcm2 Naruto level by some degree and so near minato’s speed. But if we take into consideration that early kcm2 Naruto was compared by kakashi to minato, then Itachi could be faster than him since he scales higher than mkcm1 Naruto who’s at least in speed by feat above early kcm2 (feat like reacting better to white mask obito who blitzed early kcm2 Naruto with wood style meanwhile mkcm1 Naruto could react to obito's surprise attack from behind). Meaning minato would not speed blitz him since they are in a similar tier of speed and surely Itachi can at least react to him, without even mentioning the susanoo who’s faster than Itachi himself and so even more near kcm2 Naruto tier of speed.
I don't Obito has better genjustu than Itachi. He had more variety and know how because of Madara. Itachi should easily be able to do the same as Sasuke did something similar to Obito. Minato is faster consistently however Itachi has counters to his speed and one look at the eye and Minato is slowed down. Itachi has never really gone all out either.

minato cant touch prime itachi, he would either be dragged into a genjutsu or his susanno will block all ways for minato to get near itachi real body, and itachi can also use clone bombs in immense speed so flying raijin would be risky since if minato teleport behind itachi then it could be an explosive clone and since minato dont have the sharingan he would have no chance to deal with him, basically minato will need to use sage mode to fight against itachi to stand a chance, obito is the same thing, prime obito would beat minato, minato won against young obito tho, or more likely deflected him i would say since it wasnt a battle in the open, it was in the village where any time given more shinobi could join and fight obito.

Itachi has many different things in his arsenal that can instantly kill minato unlike minato’s arsenal. Starting with Amaterasu, tsukuyomi, kotoamatsukami, IZANAGI, susanoo, totsuka blade, Crow Clone Technique, Body Flicker, Tactical Genius, etc. Itachi doesn’t even have to look at you to put you in a genjutsu “explanation ahead”. Comparing by the time of their deaths because comparing edo tenseis is irrelevant because both would be immortal.
1. FTG mark:
being marked by minato ftg and lose is the greatest joke i have heard. 14 year old killer bee was marked by minato and still end up in a tie with him, during the war minato also marked the kunai under madara’s feet which is basically marking him because madara wasn’t aware, minato tried a sneaky attack and lost an arm because of that. if the oponnent you marked is at same speed or faster than you then its irrelevant to mark him. If 14 year old killer bee wasn’t defeat by it, why would adult itachi?
The only relevant opponent minato marked and defeated was 13 year old kid Obito and adult Obito that was being held by black zetsu. That’s it, if marking with ftg means victory he would hit killer bee and madara.
Ftg mark ain’t doing shit even because susanoo can instally appear. “Remember Kirin which travels at speed of light?” Do y think minato ftg + rosengan hand gesture are speed of light? Definitely NOT.
itachi can also use 15 kunais at once to counter any ftg kunai coming towards him, itachi way better in the kunai game. “As shown many times”. by the way I think ftg is ass because using something else to teleport only delay the whole teleportation process.
Itachi Crow Clone Technique which is his signature clone technique, where his body disperses into a flock of crows that confuse the enemy negates FTG fatal attack.
2. NAGATO/ killer bee/ Naruto:
Itachi fought and saved Killer bee and kmc1 Naruto which was canonically already faster than minato and also defeated NAGATO which is stronger than both Naruto/killer bee which canonically Naruto already stronger than minato. it’s pretty simple here, itachi fought killer bee which minato wasn’t able to defeat even when he was only 14 year old, itachi also fought Naruto kmc1 which was faster than minato canonically. And itachi relative in speed with adult killer bee and kmc1 Naruto which canonically was said to be faster than minato.
3. AMATERASU:
Amaterasu can literally burn all those ftg kunais. Minato will not be the target of Amaterasu but the things he use to teleport. Amaterasu just need to target the things he uses to teleport which are either stoped or not fast enough ones meaning easy target. Kunais are like 5 inches, the whole hideout area is like a few hundred thousand sqft and he burned all that area when he was spamming Amaterasu for over an hour to burn all that area so I don’t see why itachi can’t burn a few kunai with absolutely no effort. Again remember the size of uchiha hideout.
4. SUSANOO:
susanoo and kyuubi are at the same brutal power level and guess who killed minato? Wasn’t it kyuubi? Susanoo fast enough to react to Kirin speed of light can definitely react to a rosengan.
5. GENJUTSU:
I don’t see why minato wouldn’t get caught in a genjutsu, just because Obito and madara canonically never tried genjutsu on their main opponents doesn’t mean itachi wouldn’t. Itachi is literally the dude that uses the most genjutsu
itachi genjutsus are 4: kotoamatsukami, tsukuyomi, IZANAGI, and regular genjutsu. Itachi has 4 ways to put minato in genjutsu: 1/ by crows flying everywhere like he did to Naruto filing the whole field of fight with genjutsu crows, 2/ finger genjutsu like he did to kakashi, 3/ looking in the eye genjutsu and 4/ kunai reflection as show before. Do y really think minato can escape all these ways of itachi genjutsu? Itachi the master of genjutsu? Think again buddy because the series showed you don’t need to look at him to get caught on his genjutsu just ask kakashi and Naruto. I hope minato is not bold enough to try to fight itachi with closed eyes because itachi will obliterate him.
Explaining more:
1.Finger Genjutsu: Itachi can cast genjutsu by simply pointing at a target, bypassing the need for direct eye contact.
2.Crow Genjutsu: He frequently uses crows in his techniques, allowing him to create illusions involving flocks of crows.
3.Izanagi: izanagi dont need anything to activate and he can activate in in case he get killed, and then counter attack the attack that killed him at the right time so he can kill his opponent. Lose an eye for a definitive victory. izanagi can also be activated before the fight even start like madara did. and y can also include conditions. you can actually shape reality with this ability.
OHER ITACHI ABILITIES:
1. Crow Clone Technique: Itachi's signature clone technique, where his body disperses into a flock of crows that confuse the enemy. This negate FTG.
2. Body Flicker Technique (Shunshin no Jutsu): Itachi can move at extreme speeds, appearing to teleport short distances.
3. Tactical Genius: Itachi is renowned for his incredible intelligence, strategic mind, and ability to anticipate and counter his opponents' moves with precision. itachi is always 5 steps ahead of everyone.
CONSIDERATIONS:
People like to bring up reaper death seal which is the only thing minato have that will actually work here but so would totsuka blade. Both are top level sealing jutsus and as soon as minato uses it itachi will also use totsuka blade and both will seal each other at the same time.
Also people like to mention that Raikage dodged Amaterasu and minato is faster than Raikage. First of all minato body speed is not faster than Raikage body lightening speed. There is a difference between speed and teleportation. When Raikage fought minato, minato was teleporting everywhere. That’s is not speed that’s teleportation. Body lightening enhancement speed is a better counter to Amaterasu than FTG teleportation because FTG uses kunai to teleport delaying the whole teleportation process and Amaterasu is going to target the kunai instead of minato himself. Resuming, raikage speed can’t hit minato teleportation, but raikage speed can dodge Amaterasu, but minato can’t dodge Amaterasu because minato himself will not be the target of Amaterasu but the kunais he uses to teleport. Those kunai need to be thrown and they gonna burn before reaching itachi and thats for sure.
Itachi is a complete mismatch for Minato.

Whereas the finger point is moreso just to lock someone down for a bit. Against Kabuto that wouldn't have helped as much for one Kabuto has sage mode and could still sense everything happening even if put into a Genjutsu and once again still a short term distraction. Nagato is very much the same thing. Why didn't he use Tsyukiomi on him? Iirc Rinnegan offers some defense against Genjutsu. The only one we see truly working on them being the toad chant and the other times the Genjutsu failed on the paths of pain.

Itachi is better and stronger than Obito when it comes to genjustu. This weird narrative needs to stop with these Obito high balls. I also don’t think them really saying Obito is the only alive Uchiha able to control the nine tails with genjustu is a means of power scaling. From the sounds of it they are hyping up Obito as the OG Madara and has that in the data books as past feats. Outside of Sasuke, Kaguya and Madara infinite Tsukyomi, Itachi has the most impressive genjutsu showing in the show. Koto is top tier but has some underwhelming moments for the Shisui fans.

This makes Itachi at least relative to Minatos base speed considering the “off guard” attack your eluding too can actually be applied here cuz Itachi just dodged Bee while Naruto was attacking him at the same time with his base sharingan mind you
The instance with Bee is not definitive proof or even evidence of him actually reacting to or countering FTG. When he pushed Raikage away from the hit, his tentacle got cleaved cleanly and marked at the same time. It's like saying if Bee used his own arm to push away Raikage he would have lost his arm. Not much of a counter. Bee "reacting" to FTG is more like you dodging a bullet when it's fired from a gun. You simply have to move before the trigger is pulled.
The 2nd instance with Bee (the "stand-off") only came into being because Minato was talking to Raikage while holding a kunai above Bee's head. That short line of talking is enough time for Bee to place a sword ready for Minato's possible attack. That's not an actual reaction/counter.
But even if we disregard the instances with Bee. Minato has shown in the Obito fight that he can come out of teleportation already attacking rather than teleport first and then attack. The instance I'm referring to is after he hit Obito with rasengan then marked him and then immediately attacked him straight out of the teleportation while placing the contract seal. Bee won't react to that until it already happened, just like Obito.
Then there's 8th gate Guy charging at Six Path Madara and bending the air so much that Madara can't even do anything. Yet Minato teleports in between, turns around to catch the orbs, then teleports out before Guy got any closer even though he's charging at Madara. There's no of evidence showing Itachi can react to that. It's things like this why people rank Minato above him. There's just way more evidence to support it compared to the opposite.
Even in Boruto era there are people who can solo all of Shippuden combined yet they still can't counter teleportation. The so called "godlike speed" characters (how databook refers to Minato as the greatest in godlike speed) with teleportation are just that cracked whenever there's any contest of speed.

and to be fair when switching positions itachi and obito, so itachi would have to be in Obito's starting position before appearing in the place where kushina was giving birth, we started by seeing Obito outside killing the ninjas who were protecting the place , Itachi would definitely be able to kill those ninjas too, but obviously not as quickly as Obito and silently, and unlike Obito who has kamui and crossed the barrier, Itachi doesn't have teleportation, so there would be no way for him to enter the room. silently, he could even try to use Susano to destroy the barrier, which would be bad for him for several reasons that I will mention:
1) Itachi has limited time to use Susano, in addition to spending a lot of chakra, his body is very painful, so he would already be losing an asset right from the start, not to mention that he probably wouldn't be able to break the barrier even with blows from his Susano, Minato and the Uzumaki's barrier are very powerful, we saw the younger Minato holding Kurama with 1 seal and it was unable to break the barrier with 1 blow, obviously Itachi's Susano doesn't have more strength, speed or defense than Kurama
2) also when using Susano it would be easy for Minato to notice Itachi's presence, so he would just teleport everyone who was in that room to another place, that way Kushina would give birth to Naruto safely, and he could still get some rest to recover the chakra spent while suppressing kurama for hours, Itachi simply would have nothing he could do to stop Minato, much less find him where he had teleported, because as we know, Itachi has no sensory abilities
After Minato left his family safe, it would be easy for him to locate Itachi's position and go face him, and Itachi has nothing he could do to defeat Minato.

That Minato 9 tails speed feat doesn't really make sense to me. If he was really fast enough to blitz through the whole village and summon bunta on top of kurama's head with no FTG shouldn't he have also have been fast enough to save kushina and himself from getting stabbed by kurama? If he was that fast does that mean 14 year old obito is also faster then kurama since he was keeping pace with Minato? Like am i not getting something here?

Obito wasn't as fast as Minato. That misinterpretation comes from a lot of people not focusing on what Minato explained and concluded to be the win condition of the fight, which was: striking a split second earlier with a precisely timed attack.
Given that Obitio would stay intangible and only materialize at the last second (for his own safety as analyzed by Minato) to grab Minato for Kamui, Minato has to match Obito's speed for it to work. In other words, he had to run at Obito's speed to get the timing right and not his own speed. Think about it, if Minato actually moved faster than Obito then the strategy wouldn't work as the timing would be off (which actually happened prior to the final strike when he quite literally ran through Obito into the chains).

1. Itachi, Naruto & Bee Vs Nagato (controlled by Kabuto) There's a huge difference. Kabuto almost forgot about Chibaku (Planetary Devastation). The real Nagato wouldn't have just stood there like a puppet. Nagato has sensory to spot Kabuto for Itachi to find. He'll easily spot Itachi nearby. Plus, Itachi had to remind Kabuto that Nagato had sensory. Itachi was finished when Nagato casted Chibaku (Planetary Devastation). The real Nagato wouldn't allow Itachi's Totsuka blade to reach the core too.

3. Itachi Vs Pain = Pain
Ultimately, it'll come down to who has more chakra, Nagato. Pain is too much of a powerhouse for Itachi to last. Itachi is finished once his Susano'o is gone, assuming he's nearly or is out of chakra. Think about how well Nagato was able to control the Six Paths simultaneously. Even Pain's puppet uses advanced technologies greater than ours, like lasers and homing missiles.
Amaterasu will do absolutely nothing because it'll get absorbed or pulled off immediately! Not to mention, Amaterasu could get absorbed with a scroll, like how Jiraiya did after Itachi and Kisame ran away from Jiraiya's jutsu. I'm sure Jiraiya taught him about it. Raikage dodged Amaterasu against Sasuke, which means it's not as fast as Sasuke's Kirin (lightning). Gaara easily pulled out Madara out of his Susano'o. That means Itachi won't be perfectly guarded. Maybe Pain could pull him out because when he pulls, I don't think anything must enter Susano'o to grab Itachi, however, a push seems different. If Itachi's Totsuka blade can't reach the core of Pain's Chibaku, then he'll get trapped inside along with Susano'o. Susano'o won't be able to move.
Visual genjutsu doesn't work on Rinnegan.
(Proof): Naruto chapter 677 page 9 aka page 678. Infinite Tsukuyomi does not work on three things that were stated in the manga; Perfect Susano'o, Rinnegan and the reanimated (undead). Black Zetsu, "The light can't penetrate that Susano'o? His Rinnegan can deter even this jutsu?" This means not even the Infinite Tsukuyomi can work on Perfect Susano'o and Rinnegan. Also, Itachi's Mangekyo Sharingan is TWO LEVELS BEHIND Rinnegan, while the Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan is one level behind.
Rinnegan requires Uchiha and Senju blood to activate. It is extremely rare and powerful. Why would the author make Rinnegan so LEGENDARY? The story made it clear that it was more powerful than any eye, including Mangekyō Sharingan. All that legendary talk for what? The author, Masashi Kishimoto, stated that Pain is the strongest Akatsuki.
"The strongest man in Akatsuki heads for Naruto." Some people try to curve this by stating the time when Itachi gave Naruto his power, but obviously, it was referring to Pain because he was FINALLY being revealed. The author wouldn't ruin the hype by stating, "Oh, I was referring to Itachi" because it would stop the exciting momentum. It wouldn't follow the flow. Even Black Zetsu was surprised that Obito made a backup plan incase Pain lost because he thought that no one could defeat him. Black Zetsu watched everything from the beginning of history.
Here's another question. Why didn't Itachi use Tsukuyomi right after Nagato casted Chibaku (Planetary Devastation), nor at all? Itachi knew he had infinite chakra too. He could've disabled Nagato so easily with it. Itachi probably knew that it wouldn't have worked against Rinnegan. If he wasn't sure then he would've at least tested it out because it's better than risking death or being captured. Itachi used Amaterasu multiple times, but he wouldn't even use Tsukuyomi once? It's because he never used it that answers the question about Rinnegan able to block all visual genjutsu, including Tsukuyomi.
Kakashi never put Rinnegan-Obito under genjutsu.
Only one person can put the other person in genjutsu at a time, not both at a time. You can't have Obito put Kakashi in genjutsu WHILE Kakashi put Obito in genjutsu. It's one at a time. Obito was in CONTROL of Kakashi during that whole fight. It was all by HIS design to have Kakashi destroy his heart that Madara implanted.
There are so many ways this fight can last long. Pain will keep reviving. Itachi will have a tough time catching him. Nagato, aka 7th Pain, can summon the Gedo Statue that's even bigger than Choji and his dad. Even they needed help. If used right, it can hurt a lot. Itachi's Yata Mirror is strong, but it doesn't cover everywhere. Susano'o can only handle so much against multiple attacks simultaneously. There are ways for Pain to grab Susanoo's arm that's holding the Totsuka blade, like his lizard's tongue or other animals biting it. Pain could even absorb away the Susano'o because Susano'o is chakra construct. Pain could use his Almighty Push hidden under the ground to blow away Susano'o while Itachi is being distracted fighting others. We all saw how much Itachi lost chakra each time he used his eye powers.
Eventually, Itachi will deplete all his chakra. Pain will rip out Itachi's soul with one touch while the others attack (not all 6). Itachi can never waste his chakra against Pain. Nagato is from the Uzumaki clan, which carries the most chakra. If this fight drags, it'll come down to who has more chakra. Pain wins. (6 Pains)
Itachi's two eyes versus 6 Pains + 7th Pain with All Powers. Izanagi will be useless against Chibaku because he'll just get pulled up again. It won't matter how long his Izanagi lasts. I doubt Izanagi and Izanami link all the Pains. Itachi might have to fight blind against the 7th Pain. And that's IF Itachi could figure out how to kill him without chakra. Either way, one touch is all Nagato will need to rip out Itachi's soul.

Itachi is the most suitable person to counter Minato as the Flying Raijin works by placing a seal over a kunai to be thrown and then teleporting to where the kunai was thrown. From the beginning we have always been shown Itachi training with the kunai and being so strong that he can throw the kunai and immediately after, hit the same kunai thrown a second earlier with other kunai and hit all the targets and all this with his eyes closed. Kabuto himself in the battle against Nagato states "I thought that the greater field of vision provided by the rinnegan summons would be enough but Itachi is so good with the kunai that he manages to find a blind spot to use to hit the targets. He is actually too strong." To counter flying Raijin it would be enough to do what he has always done, that is, deflect the thrown kunai. And this is a very probable scenario as the power of the flying Raijin itself also depends on the user's ability to throw the kunai as the weapon mainly used for it. Itachi, being certainly with evidence and statements the best in this, he would have no problem deflecting the kunai thrown by Minato. In some battles, Minato throws kunai scattered across the battlefield to create a favorable scenario for the use of the flying Raijin. To counter this, Itachi could use amaterasu to make the points where the kunai are stuck unusable. minato is not immune to genjutsu and tsukuyomi and if he does what he's done in the fight against obito i.e. look his opponent in the eyes then it would be over for him. The same Itachi trained his all youth with Shisui and in the novel it is stated that while sparring Itachi won several times against Shisui even though Shisui won even more times than Itachi. So Itachi can perfectly deal with fast people (Shisui who has better body flicker than Minato) and win via statements and feats in the novel.

To assume that Minato can kill Itachi without his kunai we have to concede the fact that Minato has prep time and so an advantage. The only way that he could is that Itachi let him do so, but that would never happen. Then in the fight against killer bee, minato gets behind him but killer bee succeded in reacting to him by pointing at him his sword. So even though minato teleported behind him, killer bee was still able to react to him and he didn’t got blitzed. That shows that if minato teleports behind or near Itachi, he can react to him like Killer bee did cause itachi has better speed and reaction speed than Killer bee. Without a doubt he can react to minato the same way bee did. So Itachi could counter the ftg with his kunai mastery and then he could also react to minato thanks to his reaction speed being superior to that of Killer bee. Then Ems Sasuke being above Itachi is contradicted by the Kabuto fight where Itachi showed in every aspect better feats than Sasuke. He was holding back to protect him the whole fight, guiding him and while also preparing the stages for the activation of izanami. Than Itachi in the databook statement says that he recognize Sasuke as his equal but that could just mean that he doesn’t see him like the little brother who needs protection but instead a skilled ninja like him who can cooperate and help him, more like a status thing. It’s also stated that with ems, Sasuke techniques and eye techiniques surpassed his own brother. For the eye techinque is referring to basic sharingan an mangekyo genjutsu but not to tsukuyomi who’s stated to be the strongest genjutsu by zetsu then for techinques we have taijutsu and ninjutsu. So Sasuke surpasses Itachi only in these aspectes and not in speed, battle iq, intelligence, tsukuyomi ecc…And especcially by feats in the Kabuto fight itachi is shown superior in combat than ems Sasuke, Itachi was shown more faster, reacting better to kabuto’s attacks, protecing Sasuke, telling him what to do, and all of that while suppressing his power and while preparing all the stages for the activation of izanami. Edo Itachi by scaling is shown above Ems sasuke without even going all out, edo Itachi who’s weaker than his alive healthy counterpart. Then we can scale Edo Itachi and so also alive Itachi without illness above Edo Madara since kabuto states that Itachi is the finer foil in his Edo tensei, meaning better than Madara who is also one of Kabuto’a Edo tensei foil. And in stating that kabuto mentions not only itachi’s intelligence but also his strength and jutsu meaning that Kabuto was also referring to itachi’s power when he states that his better than anyone of his Edo tensei. Itachi with that statement has a comparable scaling to that of minato of the video. Itachi like minato being above Edo madara who is relative to kcm2 level combatants. Itachi by feats is shown superior to Ems sasuke in the fight against kabuto. The same Ems sasuke relative to mastered kcm1 Naruto who’s above initial kcm2 Naruto by feats. So Itachi is in speed above mastered kcm1 Naruto meaning at least near kcm 2 level Naruto. So Itachi and minato speed is comparable since minato is relative to kcm2 Naruto speed but Itachi by being superior in speed to mckm1 Naruto (who’s above initial kcm2 Naruto) is at least near kcm 2 Naruto speed level. Itachi is more relative to minato than people think and is the perfect counter to the only real win condition minato has that is ftg, which is also the only jutsu, with the rasengan, that minato is shown using against people. All the sealing stuff is irrelevant since minato was never shown using any sort of seal jutsu against a man but only against kurama or tailed beast bomb. Minato was regarded as the fastest shinobi only because of ftg, his reputation of being so fast comes from him using ftg and not because his so fast with his normal speed, since we have no real proof or statements of him being that fast without ftg. Every time someone talks about minato’s speed is in reference to ftg. Shisui was stated to be the best body flicker user of all time meaning better and so faster than minato, and so the reputation of him being the fastest shinobi it’s not in reference to body flicker. Then in the battle against yellow mask obito we clearly see both of them going at the same speed, move at the same time and speed and even obito blitzing minato with his chains, with him escaping only because of ftg. If minato was really that fast normally, like it is explained in the video, he wouldn’t have needed ftg to escape from obito’s chain since he could have effortlessly avoid it with his normal combat speed or body flicker. Minato had the upper hand in speed only because of ftg since without it he was never shown moving faster or blitzing obito in the fight. So if minato is Kcm2 Naruto level of speed, also yellow mask obito is at that level since he was shown to move and run as fast as minato without ftg. But we all know that it doesn’t make sense to have yellow mask obito at kcm2 level of speed.
3. Then for the kurama feat where he summons gamabunta, there’s no real proof that suggest minato running through the entire village and jump so high to go above kurama. The only plausible explanation is him using ftg to do that feat or like teleport somewhere near kurama and then get close to him and throw a kunai over kurama, since to make a jump that high you need to be fucking goku or fly and we have never seen any shinobi jump so damn high with his normal strength. And that’s edo Itachi who’s weaker than his alive healthy counterpart that is taken into consideration in the video. Then Itachi in the databook statement, about Sasuke being equal to him, says that he recognize Sasuke as his equal but that could just mean that he doesn’t see him like the little brother who needs protection but instead a skilled ninja like him who can cooperate and help him, more like a status thing, and that’s supported by the fact that against Kabuto Ems Sasuke was not shown equal to Itachi in almost every aspect. The same Ems Sasuke was shown relative to mkcm1 Naruto who’s by feat relative and for some reasons above or at least faster than early kcm2 Naruto(the same early kcm2 Naruto who was compared to minato by kakashi). But even if we assume that minato is really fast like kcm2 Naruto without ftg, Itachi is not so behind that level. In fact, since he’s faster than Ems Sasuke who’s relative to mkcm1 Naruto, he should be at least near kcm2 Naruto level by some degree and so near minato’s speed. But if we take into consideration that early kcm2 Naruto was compared by kakashi to minato, then Itachi could be faster than him since he scales higher than mkcm1 Naruto who’s at least in speed by feat above early kcm2 (feat like reacting better to white mask obito who blitzed early kcm2 Naruto with wood style meanwhile mkcm1 Naruto could react to obito's surprise attack from behind). Meaning minato would not speed blitz him since they are in a similar tier of speed and surely Itachi can at least react to him, without even mentioning the susanoo who’s faster than Itachi himself and so even more near kcm2 Naruto tier of speed.

minato cant touch prime itachi, he would either be dragged into a genjutsu or his susanno will block all ways for minato to get near itachi real body, and itachi can also use clone bombs in immense speed so flying raijin would be risky since if minato teleport behind itachi then it could be an explosive clone and since minato dont have the sharingan he would have no chance to deal with him, basically minato will need to use sage mode to fight against itachi to stand a chance, obito is the same thing, prime obito would beat minato, minato won against young obito tho, or more likely deflected him i would say since it wasnt a battle in the open, it was in the village where any time given more shinobi could join and fight obito.

Yagura never had control himself when Obito put him under a genjutsu, or else he could have broken out. Bee was the only genuine perfect Jinchuriki before Naruto.
