People will say its excuses but there is something up with these new karts. There are 3 or 4 that are so far off the pace. At pfi me and my teammate were both 2 seconds off the pace in the afternoon enduro than we were in the morning sprints, and the team that used the kart after us also came stone dead last. Told the mechanics and they just said in future to take the kart to the mechanics after the race
Yeah they’re definitely more dodgy. I took mine to scrutineering after the race cos I could tell it was rubbish, would’ve been nice if the guy racing before me had done that but there we go
Exactly what you just said is why it keeps happening in BUKC, no one pulls the karts off to the mechanics bay, they just put it in line for the next driver... this happens way less in club100 senior rounds, and therefore getting a kart below par is less common
