I'm currently studying Steiner education and your description of the four fold human being was great. I liked how you simplified it it made so much sense to me. It's such an interesting topic and I'd love to hear more of your thoughts about it. thank you!!
Hi Amanda, I absolutely love this video! You explain everything so clearly it's so refreshing to watch. Can I please ask you to make a video talking about the three-fold human being? I would be forever grateful. Warm regards from London x
Great information, thank you! I went to a Waldorf school preschool-8th grade and I'm only now getting into some of Steiners's work. This was a big help!
How you define the different planes of existence reminds me of the four lower elements of the Kabbalah. That is, Netzach, Hod, Yesod and Malkuth. This also sounds similar to Carl Jung's development of psychoanalysis. It is interesting to read about the transition from spirituality to psychology, and from psychology into shamanism.
I'd love to know about the astral realm & after life process. I'd love to also know the origin of our being in this world. Yayy I love these topics thank you for covering them! ♥
Whilst I appreciate the verbal content, having pictorials or other imagery in your video would help viewer engagement and connection to the content (maybe footage of whatever you're talking about, other than just you talking). Thanks, and all the best with the future video shares. We need this.
Thanks for the feedback Nisha! I agree visuals would be helpful. I'll definitely look into doing this in the future when I have more time. For now while I learn more about making vids my philosophy is one of not over thinking it and getting stuff out there. Thanks again for your comment, it's very helpful x
Thank you so much for your video!! Super helpful in describing and unpacking the fourfold approach. I wondered if you would be okay if i quoted you in my essay that I am writing. I am studying to be a transpersonal art therapist in the UK. I really liked the way that you said these ' bodies are born' . If you feel comfortable with this could you give me a name that i could reference you by? Thanks x
Hi Sarah, what a wonderful thing to be studying.and yes I'd be honored for you to quote me. My name is Amanda Bradley if that's what you need. Good luck with the essay.
In advent, we also light the candles for these 4 kingdoms - mineral, plant, animal, human - and the Christmas comes - Christ, the future for mankind. We humans are an evolving species. He can be our inspiration. Love.
You touch upon a beginning understanding related to the esoteric science of a human being. Eastern philosophy, which predates Christianity by thousands of years, has yet an even infinitely, deeper understanding, While I respect Steiner, I can only leave it at that.
Yup I hear you and agree. I'm just sharing my very initial thoughts on the subject with what limited experience I have. No way am I an expert. But I felt called to share a very very basic explaination of how I see the concept. I encourage people to do lots more research of their own to get a deeper understanding. You could perhaps point myself and others in the direction of other places to do study?
@@holistichomeaotearoa4911 Hey, I think that just by being involved in Waldorf/Anthropological study is not by chance...we're all eventually on the same human trajectory. Even though I spent a mere three years in a Steiner school, it spiritually enriched me and awakened in me a love of arts & music, compatible with the evolution of human beings. I've dabbled in studying texts as the Vedas and Buddhism, however they're several overlapping understandings to be had in understanding and perspective. I think that commencing a conversation among those who are truly interested is, in fact, a great avenue to enhancing one's understanding of 'the truth'.
@@jjns5600 indeed! We are all on a path of learning at different stage. Personally Im on a path of esoteric Christianity but am super mindful of how important the messages and teaching of the east have been in influencing what it is. Couldnt have had Christianity without all that had come before aye! And yes, tbh I'm so emersed in Anthroposophy Ill focus on that for now and study further afeild when it feels like the right time. Thanks for engaging in the conversation! I was hoping these humble vids would spark this :)
Hi! Thank you Soo much for this info. I'm an art Therapist about to work with kids from 10-12 and I am the process of trying to understand this time of development. (7-14 for Steiner development). I'd love to hear more about each developmental stage in depth if you feel like venturing into that. Also, if you have any recommendations for readings and resources. I'd love to hear it.
Oh wow! Art therapy is amazing. I have heard only good things from children who have worked through things with an Art Therapist. And yes I will definitely go into more depth. I'm currently researching for a podcast I will be recording early Feb which will go into more detail and specifically talk about the 9year old and 12year changes that happen. At the same time I'll see if I can create a RUclips vid going into more detail :). I'll go through my bookshelf and pick out some recommend reading for ya x
Study of Man by Steiner is a good one. I developed my current understanding by reading ALOT of different lectures by him. If you like audiobooks I recommend going to rudolfsteineraudio.com there are tons of his books there to listen to for free. But also there is a very simple book called Anthroposophy by Henk van Oort that has a nice simple overview. Gosh there are so many, I did find Bernard's Phases of childhood a good one when I was studying Steiner Education at Uni.
@@charmainewelsh3510 thanks so much, that's good to hear! Nice to know I'm not blabbering into the either haha. Once I reach 600 subscribers I'm going to make a video about celebrating festivals in the Southern Hemmesphere :). Although it may have to wait a week until after the craft fair next Sunday. My doll making life is keeping me busy!
Thank you so so much for the crystal clear explanation! I really struggled getting this concept for a while. xx

Yeah I totally see that. I'd love to learn more about the Kabala! Seems to influence a lot of the famous Spiritual people :)

Often finding things difficult in our lives is an indication we have something to gain from putting effort into understanding it.
