He passed in July of 2013 at the age of 93. I grossly overpaid for a bottle of "Elmer T. Lee" in his memory. I have to say it was a fine bourbon.

Legend. What a treat it was to watch this. The tiny bits of wisdom throughout this interview are priceless. RIP Mr. Lee.

Every whiskey drinker should watch this interview, there is so much knowledge and wisdom! If you want to skip the history and get into the production techniques skip to about the 25 minute mark.

The interviewer does really a superb job... literally brings tears to my eyes.... perhaps that is because of the amount of Rye, beer and wine I have consumed this afternoon...🥴😣🤕🥴🥴🤭
Seriously, this is really a classic interview!! This along with anything from Greg Metze...

If I was to choose one person, living or dead, to spend an afternoon with (excluding family) Elmer T. Lee would be that person!
