Why don’t you address the blatant frog farm exploit that makes playing MOP remix a complete waste of time now ?
im enjoying it, i wanted to experience pandaria properly, so i did the questlines and only did dungeons/ raid when i had a quest to do so.... there was a point where i could kill 10ish mobs without any worry (60) but one level over, if i didn't level a hunter fist i would of never gotten to lvl 70.

Yup, I've been leveling mainly through questing and already got Infinite Power 12 on my first Remix char who isn't 70 yet.

I ran into quests I know I must have done but had no memory of. It was weird but satisfying.

I hit 60 just doing quests and one of each queue. Doing every quest I come across loving the peaceful zones and funky quests😊
honestly, I just kind of played it at my own pace and enjoy things. The biggest reward for me is getting a few new mogs And running through a bit of the older content for fun because let’s face it. I was just counting down the time until the new expansion launches anyway.. care less about farming, legendary items in retail. This gives me a little bit of fun leveling up new characters, which is kind of what I enjoy to do anyway, and I can run raids at an early level two which is also something fun that I wasn’t able to do in retail.

It is just so depressing to hear people give this truly terrible youtuber positive feedback. He literally just copies stuff off wowhead-there's nothing to suggest he actually plays or does any kind of research/analysis.

@@lorenzorusso5375 xp buffs? No, the raids do. Normal raid bosses give 12% like the video says.

Oh, I started as a Shadow Priest and realized I can play as I can play as a Holy and kill kill kill while questing and still heal greatly in dungeons and raids.
The searing light gem on holy priest had me doing 10-15x more damage than the second highest dps in raid as a low level. Gem is absolutely busted

Thx for the video. I didn't know how lucrative raids were and I didn't think about the group finder. I have been lvling a shaman as a healer through heroic dungeons and lfr raids. I will probably do a few normal ones for the last few lvls to 70.
LFR doesn’t guarantee threads of experience from every boss though like normal groups do

Thanks for the tip about re-equiping your cloak on alts to update the achievement buff. I made a bunch of characters right away even though I was going to focus on one till it was 70, and thought I was going to have to delete and remake my alts after I got to power 12.

So much better that way, I'm gonna friend as many goat lovers as I can so when the event ends I'm gonna ask them so what did that do for you, we have the same stats lol
I leveled by questing and found out about frogs just as they were nerfed, so I didn't get powered up. I did an LFR and a few dungeons while leveling but there were no bonuses at the time and it seemed pretty pointless. Questing was pretty good up to around 55 and then the mobs got tougher and quests/level went up until 70, despite building the XP bonus on the cloak.
I would say time/zones completed were similar to when I originally leveled through the expansion at launch.
I have done some more questing/LFR at 70, bought some gear updates, made legendary gems and life is easier again with health doubled.
I regret missing out on the frog farm and not getting easier heroics/raids done at low levels.
However, I did get enough threads questing to max out the cloak achievement and to get all the unique gems (plus one legendary) before level cap.
Ironically, the bigger your xp bonus, the less time there is for rewards along the way, although Blizz claim they are now compensating for this.
In any case, I did everything while leveling to prep for alts - I just have a much tougher job to fill the jewellery slots.
I leveled to 70 in Just two zones: Jade forest and Valley of the four winds. I completed all Main/Side Quests and target rares to get both zones completed and up to 70. The rest of pandaria was extra chests, stats/xp for cloak and finishing out reps. took me less than 24hrs to get it done.

u can get huge xp from lfr make new toons to 25 and keep bumping the xp dayly on cape with mutiable toons

I really don't understand why people are stressing this game mode. Isnt it made to enjoy pandaria again (or for the first time?).
it's made to enjoy pandaria again and/or fir the first time BUT with an extra twist: feeling overpowered and hitting as hard as a truck load of tornadoes filled with trucks. that last part was basically 80-90% of this game mode's selling point.... untill they nerfed that last part after people found a way to get thousands of threads in the first 24 hours via farming a specific area filled with frogs. and now the people who consequently exploited these frogs are running around with 15 times your HP, massive amount of damage reduction and life leech while simultanuously shitting out more dps than the rest of your raid could possible do...

you could already do that via Chromie time if you wanted to level an alt from scratch in pandaria. The whole point of this mode was to be an overpowered badass in pandaria. According to blizzard originally anyways......

Does the method of doing each at to 25 still work? how many alts would that take to get clock to level 12 just doing the dailies?
Level through questing is a nice comfort way. By the time I got to the Vale, through the quests naturally getting me there, I was already at 70. I didn't touch Townlong Steppes nor the Dread Wastes.

Are the XP threads in raids (12%) a one-time drop?
I'd suggest doing the chapter quests regardless, some of them drop toys and other collectibles.
So, is there any reason to get more bonus exp on the cloak once the character is lvl70 (after getting the max achievement for alts)? Or is it simply a useless side effect of farming for the other stats on the cloak then?
You dont get xp, but only Player Power threads 65+
No benefit and the achievement is related to total threads, not xp bonus...
You actually can't even collect any bonus XP after you hit 70, but it means you get more stat threads, so it's a good tradeoff (as near as I can tell, anyway)
Not sure if it's better lately, but in the first few days whenever I tried to queue for Normal dungeons on my Hunter (was around level 45 at the time) I never got an invite. Maybe that's just a "we don't want no stinkin' Hunters" thing, but my experience has been negative when even trying to get into a Normal group. At least with LFR you can get in, and while the queues may take a while if you sign up for all the wings you want to do you'll find they tend to pop one after another once the first one starts.
As for player expectations prior to the event, much of that came from Blizzard and content creators who played the PTR, so it wasn't just people assuming, it was people having expectations set for them by others.
how does Mop Mix help retail, do all my toons get transfered over when the Xpac hits, or is this another Plundestorm for mounts and side fun?
I'm not sure if you can do it now, but when remix ends your character goes to retail
I have been getting the infinite achvs, but did not realize how they were helping. I've been doing all the quests in the zones to get the story lines done. Leveling g just the 1x toon so far, I am running as a Prot Pally, and at lvl 68, my dmg is garbage! I tried Heroics early on and got demolished! Even queuing as a Tank, I had 40-60min queue times for raids, and so at 68, I have still not run one raid yet. I have only done a few heroic scenarios. 😭
did some scenarios with random 70s when i was level 15-20, i was soloing the place while they were getting beat like a drum xD

Im new to the Game. Should i use this gamemode to Level my characters faster?
Turn Auto Loot off when looting raid bosses so you can loot the 12% exp buff before the actual chunk of exp from the boss
Or just shift click
If you have autoloot enabled, you can shift + right click and it will loot it as if autoloot was disabled. Same goes the otherway around.
@xXxGUZxXx the shift click as to be turned on manually but yes shift clicking does work. But auto loot is turned off when you make new toons
I am level 68 on my main char, today I will hit 70, but I've also completed every raid on normal. I also am a MT on retail and we raid tues/wed so I didn't have that time to put into it.
In my opinion they just need to change one thing to make MoP remix feel way better....
I don't care people got ahead by farming frogs, I don't even think they need to increase the amount of bronze dropped. The ONLY thing that needs to happen is the gear upgrades cost wayyyy less and/or get a completely new currency/system. It makes no sense at all that I have to choose between +10 ilvls on my character and the super rare 1% drop rate mount I wanted to farm bronze for in the first place in a limited-time event.
*Also the timerunner achievement items should be account wide* - it's insane that a for-fun overpowered limited time event is less alt friendly, harder to gear, and with harder to clear raids than are in the current retail season. I have 4 characters above 510 ilvl in retail and can't get my main above 330 in remix after 40 hours...

I havent had an LFR queue time go longer than 5 minutes, and that was on my feral druid. queueing as a healer is near instant pop.
I think that might change now that people are also playing cata
Everytime I queued for lfr it took at least 20+ minutes to get in
A small tip is to create all the characters you want and then have them sitting in an inn to get rested xp! Mostly helpful if you are like me and creating one of each class lol
make sure to have the achievement "Infinite Power XII" before making alts so you can get an insane buff to your starting cloak
Bad idea. Make them AFTER getting the cloak leveled on 1.
@CandyCorn61938 lmao use your brain. Get characters earning rested xp WHILE leveling your main cloak. Then, oh my gosh 🤯😮😱 when you’re ready to level that alt it will have a max cloak AND rested xp 🙊🙀😨 especially useful on panda
@@mavster99 I am using my brain. The game snapshots the cloak at character creation. Might want to be a decent human being instead of acting like you know everything. Oh wow rested xp that's a new trick!

LFR is almost instant queue as a healer and you dont even have to do any healing, you could just stay in dps spec if the scaling wasnt so weird you actually do higher dps in healing spec (im rsham)
you also have higher hps in dps or tank specs... however, this is not an MoP exclusive phenomenon. it's the same story in retail when at low levels (pretty much anything below 40-50)
Especially the case if you're running leech gems, with Vamp aura tinker
That's been my experience too. I was so nervous to try healing a Raid (I am NOT a healer lol) but I'm just pushing buttons and everything's working out fine 😅👍

Awesome video. I have been wondering what the “best” way is to level & actually enjoy the experience. I’m glad the frogs got nerfed, it is the least engaging way to play.
As someone that used to farm frogs back in the day, I refused to participate in it again lol.
Important notice: Normal raid bosses don’t drop threads of experience from LFR, but from premade groups 10M they do

I always have a laugh with these EASY AND FASTEST WAY TO BLAH BLAH "guides". Then they tell you how to press the attack key.
While the Cloak XP bonus is less for alts, I have noticed they level faster anyway. On my first Alt, I turned in three quests and got an entire level. My Cloak was only at 105%. Way faster than Toon #1.
Sorry if I'm misunderstanding your comment, but I assume your cloak has + 105% experience, meaning you get about double experience. 3 quest per level sounds reasonable
To reiterate is as well, your Alt has 105% XP Bonus at the start while your first Character had a 0% XP Bonus at the start. So yes, thats why it is faster, because you gained a whole 105% more XP Bonus between those 2 characters xD.
3:10 Heroic dungeons as you level though? As a long time WoW player this breaks my brain.
wish I woulda done the raids and heroic junk when I was leveling my paaldin, now he is 70 and struggling hard
Oh and for those telling us just to chill and enjoy the content ..many of us have already played through all this content when mop was current content ...we were only running this mode to get a quick alt leveled up to test a new class etc....if they are gonna nerf xp gains then there is literally no point.
If you only wanna get a new toon to max lvl just go follow the wr speed run strat for df right now. It’s at like 4.5 hours. I’m sure it’ll be faster then this is. And to be fair it’ll still be pretty easy to max level a character doing this as well… the mode clearly is to enjoy mop and get the collectibles. That’s the point.
@@Steak51430 No, fast leveling of alts is also a point of the mode that Blizz specifically mentioned and advertised multiple times when hyping up the mode. Let people do what they want. This is such a weird hill to get strung up on LMAO.
While I definitely played through everything in MoP, as well as most of my guild. None of us saw this as just a quick leveling experience. We all are in it for the transmog and mounts. Being able to collect a full set in a day is insane! This was never for alt army’s, it’s been for the collectors.

It's nice to max lvl an alt on the other faction too if you only ever play the one side or the other.
So my main is level 70. For some dumb reason I chose to run a dh which I don't tank so I relied on the 20-40 min dps ques. But his exp rate is only at 154% and that's where it capped. From like level 60 it never went higher. Did I mess up somewhere.
It stops giving xp at 65, but if you get the lvl 12 cloak achiev your next character starts at 100% xp boost
I’m confused why raids drop exp gain for my max level 70 if it has no effect on my alts since the cape is capped at 100% starting. Like seriously what is the point of the extra exp gains when you’re level 70????
How do I get Fingers/necks/trinkets?
I’ve spent the entire time in the jade forest because I couldn’t figure out which quests I needed to do for the story line. I just finally left it last night. No amount of googling could get me that info. Anyone know of a site?

I get denied for literally every raid group. So normal raids seem impossible (at least for dps) unless you’re in a guild
Wish I hadn't leveled to 70. The power drop off is insane. I was x5 more powerful at lvl 40. And, HOW MUCH bronze to level up items? Hahahaha, yeah nah!
The fact that its an alternative to regular leveling is a great idea. However, lol, i can level literally 10x faster outside of the remix doing dungeons/quests. Now having said that, that was just to level 60. Im sure the 60-70 run in remix is far faster. Just my 2c. My wife went into remix and I started in normal Azeroth. It wasnt even close. I hit 50 hours before she hit 40. Now that she has the "cloak" her next toons may be faster, but initially, its not even close.
60-70 is the slowest part on Remix. It took me 23 hours on my first, including AFK.
With the cloak achievement maxed and the changes to raids and dungeons, it should be a lot faster to level alts now.

I think the exp thing after hitting 70 that it keeps going up is a lil dumb it it can transfer to another all like maybe not the stats but atleast give me the exp so when i do 1 quest i level up 10x with 700%exp lol.

I was hit by the bug where you log in your toon is naked and you have no bags.. it was like this for 2 days lol tonight i czn finally grind to lv 70 haha

my buddy... it's over. blizzward "fixed" the frogs days ago. you can't eyploit it anymore and the handful of people who did are so far above you stat wise that it'll take you several hundreds of hours to come even close to their stats, which is also the reason why any raid leader will pick these people instead of you 11 out of 10 times.
blizzard fucked up, again, as they always do, and instead of making the experience equally funny for everyone they rather nerfed it into oblivion, so now only the people who exploited soon and exploited hard can actually feel overpowered as fck... which is ultimately ironic because "feeling overpowered" were basically 90% of the selling point of MoP remix.

If they don't fix the mess they did with frogs, the frogs poisoned this event for everybody - even though you may never know it was the frogs. It's so so bad, that they simply must intervene now. I'm sure they will.
Just wish bronze currency is account wide.
That would be amazing. But also never gonna happen. Cuz they already made leveling alts faster. Why make it so we can farm collectibles faster. That would make life much easier

I was playing priest but stopped enjoying it part way through the event. Instead of forcing myself to at least infinite power 11, I just sidelined it and made an alt. I have to remind myself that enjoyment is more important than min maxing.
The cloak ended up being a huge disappointment, when youtuber kept telling me that what I did on my main would help put my alts, sure it did some with the achievement but there is not much reason for me to make my main cloak any better. It is also silly that that we get weaker with each level up, my speed did go down for each level from 18% to 12%
I just did raids on normal up to 70.
But why would you want exp on the cloak, if as a pre ~60-65 the balancing is in your favor. Trying to not reach higher level as quickly as possible seems much more worth it until they (hopefully) improve the scaling.
Yeah all of my que times have generally been around 5 minutes or so longest one was 8 minutes

I have practically instant LFR queues, dungeons and scenarios too, as DPS...

Craps, I've been doing it wrong from day one. I have a lvl 41 and lvl 42 and haven't been in a raid yet. I like following the story line but apparently that's not enough.
Thankgod diablo season 4 is out so ive still got something to play before war within as this remix was vastly overhyped, its not fun at all and jt just feels like the same leveling grind...but with a random cloak that doesnt even seem to make mucn of a difference.
Either a lot of streamers lied about what this was or theyve nerfed it into the ground since the version they played 🤣
The beta test’s LFR raids were giving out like three times the exp of live remix

Well you can't necessarily choose which threads you get, so if you spammed raids and dungeons at close to max for gear and bronze, the exp threads just follows
I think it’s already fast enough questing and dungeon running. Plus I’m getting to know my monk and lvl my cloak.

nhc and hc raids rn are on farm for many groups, just use ward cheese.. before it gets nerfed

@@mia-marienegraus2850 its a meta socket (the yellow one) the whole group casts it on a tank and spam heals him. after 10seconds he explodes with millions of damage. like a oneshot.
What happens to all these buffs and upgrades once they transfer to retail?
Does it impact the gear Blizzard will equip your toon with?
Doubtful. Probably be given the same gear as with a level boost.

If you go through LFR the raids aren't even on a lockout, you can spam them endlessly
The rings , trinkets and necklace are ONLY USABLE ON THE CHARACTER THAT HAS DONE THE ACHIEVEMENTS!!!!!! Found this out the hard way!

took me 24 hours to hit level 70 and get the 12 levels to my cloak and I just ran quests.

@@run8scap80201 it's an easy guide, just quest through thew zones... thats what I did and half way through the dread wastes I was maxed out on cloak and lvl 70 only zone I didn't touch was Viel and the other half of the dread wastes along with Isl of thunder or timeless isles.
I wish there was a way to see how close I am to infinite power 12. :(

So far only got to lvl 21 since...well, I don't feel enthusiasm for this event. The main advertisement for remix was it's a stupidly overpowered funfare, yet I don't feel anything overpowered at all. Even with all the gems I'm still killing mobs at a sometimes slower than retail pace, especially feels so when in heroic dungeons, that we're essentially chipping off boss's health bar bit by bit. All of us got killed by Lilian except for the tank, that would NEVER happen in retail, so I really don't get how or why their "stupidly overpowered fun" stands.
