Not far from Madison, Wisconsin you’ll find a town brimming with Scandinavian pride. If you're looking for things to do in Wisconsin, or Wisconsin hidden gems, Mount Horeb is an unusual place to visit. You can walk along the "Trollway" in search of their 30+ trolls that stand in front of shops, pubs, and more. You can even eat some Scandinavian food while you're there. I'd say there's enough there for an hour or two visit--there's a museum in town (that we were not allowed to film inside of) as well as nice-looking cafes. The trolls are a marketing effort by the town to bring in more visitors. They are pretty charming!

Hey I live there! I hope u enjoyed your stay at mount horeb!
I live here, great place
Interesting, I have been there twice
I moved in mount Horeb 5 months ago is a pretty calm place
No it sucks here there is nothing to do
I mean it places over 30 trolls in the mountains
Great job! I think any TV channel would be glad to have you as a reporter.
I appreciate that, thanks!
I had no idea. Many years ago my wife and I took a roadtrip through WI and at the tourist bureau I jokingly asked for the "cheese map". Without missing a beat the guy produced one. We spent the next few days on a cheese tour.
Haha! I believe it. I've never eaten more cheese in my life than in WI
Wisconsin known for Cheeseheads and Troll Town, U.S.A 🇺🇲🇺🇲
Thank you for an interesting story,🌹
Thanks for watching!
Good troll adventure’
I love yours videos. I can learn a lot even if i do not live in USA...Thank you for showing us. Greetings from Argentina...
So Door County ISN'T the only Norway-centered locale in Wisconsin? NICE. At least these are nice trolls. Not the mean ones on social.
I hadn't even heard of Door County before, but it makes sense that there would be more than one town promoting their Scandinavian heritage!
So cool. Love small european (ah, wisconsin) towns 😅😎
This does not look like Europe.
Thank for this. I've been through Wisconsin a thousand times and never heard of Mount Horeb. Hope you got a chance to check out the House on the Rock. It's uhh... insane.
Oh my gosh. House on the Rock changed my life. I didn't film a video about it when I went, because I had no idea how insane it was going to be. Truly the coolest place I've ever been and I cannot WAIT to go back!! I rave about it to everyone, ha.
I hope you people one day leave Wisconsin and realize that a weird house on a small rock is not something life changing.
I'm looking for a place to move to in wisconsin I think I'll move there
Are the contents of the museum that was in the stave church available anywhere? Or is it all gone? :(
Good question! It looks like they're still around, acquired by the Mount Horeb Historical Society

@@TheCuriousWorld You can even take a virtual tour of the Stave Church at the Driftless Historium, which is the museum run by the Historical Society. It's great!
Yes!! When I was there that exhibit was closed due to Covid, but hopefully next time!
sooo... have reddit and twitter constructed their HQs there?
😂
