    If this girl narrated the videos on the Annunaki Ancient Mystery RUclips channel we could get the real story of our creation out to the masses. Great narration. Kudos

    hi, is Ellil the same as Enlil? I have read that Enki is in truth ea Enki as full name. not just Enki, from what I have read Enlil and Enki are twin brothers and co creator gods, one caused the floods and killed all, one warned noah. One is good the other is bad as in the devil. what say you?

    • @AprilLynnDowney
      @AprilLynnDowney  Год назад +3

      Many ancient Mesopotamian myths evolved through the centuries and were adapted to the predominant culture in different times and places. Ellil and Enlil are essentially the same character, but over time his name and details changed. The same is true of Ea and Enki and many other gods. Enki is a Sumerian name and Ea is Akkadian, but the Enki character was adopted by the later Akkadians. As far as evil vs. good, not many gods of any mythology could really be considered entirely "good". I guess it depends on one's point of view. But personally, I find destroying all of humanity pretty evil.

    Myth?

  • @RyanJones-rg4ly
    @RyanJones-rg4ly 9 месяцев назад

    I’ve read these texts before how do we know them to be valid?Thats with anything. Mythologies have a contorted reality. Do you believe them to be real or make believe or sycological I spelled wrong 😑

    • @AprilLynnDowney
      @AprilLynnDowney  8 месяцев назад +2

      Depends on what you mean by "valid" or "real". These stories really did exist, but whether they are actually telling a true and accurate story or not.... well, I would be shocked if I found out they were true stories. But that really doesn't matter from a historical or anthropological perspective. Religions have been a major moving force in humanity since the beginning and we can't understand our past without understanding our ancestors' beliefs.... I also feel that acknowledging religions' syncretism is important. The reality is that Judaism and then the later Christianity were not formed in a vacuum.

    • @AprilLynnDowney
      @AprilLynnDowney  Год назад

      Believing whether it's true or not is up to the individual, but the term "myth" technically doesn't mean something is not true. A myth simply means a religious story. We use the word casually to mean something not true, but academically, it doesn't need to mean a false story.

    • @lisawood1354
      @lisawood1354 Год назад

      @AprilLynnDowney I just thought with tv series like myth busters it meant it was a made up thing.also I agree with you on that it depends on what the individual believes.its good to have different beliefs and opinions.

      Following a genuine honest historian, a "myth" is what is told by mouth, coming down from generations. It more often than not, has far more weight behind it than the lies we have been taught in school! Whether there is truth in a myth, is whether or not there are actual records that prove it, the problem with that, is that many have intentionally be hidden from us. One thing though re myths, is there is a difference between a myth and folk lore. Folk lore was invented entirely fabricated lies by the globalists / masonic fraternities, including Celtic. If you go back through the creation of the Druids and the Druid "Order", you will read that they totally made the Celtic Folklore up! I guess the word "lore" is a give away. Id put much more faith in myths that have come down via word of mouth having more truth that what is written on paper these days since these globalists/anunnaki are even changing the definition of a woman that goes against true science and writing fake scientific papers to push their false ideologies

      Let's use some critical thinking skills. You just spelled Enlil in English. Not Sumerian, Babylonian or Assyrian. Then use the term, 'properly" as if an English pronunciation variant is the correct way. That tribe shouldn't be speaking. They demonstrate their ignorance.
