Wow what an absolute cracker of sunrise, beautiful morning 🌄 It may have been a little slow but that was a pretty nice sambo to start, a couple of fish beats nothing 🎣
Those others fishing Tura must be subscribers Larry and are keen to cash in…..I started fishing Tura instead of North Tura due to the easier access with the crook hips and knees and that it is a little closer to Merimbula. Thanks for sharing Larry.
It was a big longer walk and those stairs are no fun, but it was a gorgeous spot. Boss outdoors has been telling people to fish there too. Pambula River is supposed to be decent right now, might give that a go next week.
cool as, if you ever catch any slimey makerel (good spots around eden for slimeys) salt some fillets and whack em in ya freezer, use them on the surf cut to required pieces of course and stand back. You may have to find a tree to hide behind while you bait your hooks coz the fish will come a runnin. And super tough bait good in rough surf.
Awesome work Larry! Extremely beautiful spot to be fishing and the weather looks perfect! It’s been extremely windy here the last 4 days… and the fishing been slow… also just a quick question, what size hooks do you use when using your surf rod and what size pillies? Just the tails? Keep up the great work! Hope all Is doing well! Tight lines 🎣🤙🎣🤙
The Pilchard are cut in half and I use both ends. I'm surprised, but the Salmon will hit the heads hard. Usually just 1/0 hooks and circle hooks work best.
Larry! That is another beautiful location, buddy 👍🏼. Looks like you have some nice salmon up there, just lovely, mate.
I was hoping for a nice Tailor, that is what this spot is known for, maybe next time. Thanks Wayne!

Thanks Mick, loved this spot and I'm told that is my best bet for getting some good Tailor, so I'll get back there soon.

Thanks Jun, loved this spot and will try it again soon. Hopefully a bit better luck next time.
