Thanks for video!! Just picked up this game over the holidays as I saw it on sale and didn't know much about it but looked fun. I am having a good time with it and I like Sword and Staff as my weapons (going for that Mage Knight feel). Tips were very helpful!
Great video, I've been playing since midnight on the 8th and I learned 4 things I didn't know until watching this video. Also I think the game is great and now that I know all your extra pick-ups go into storage it's even better.

Haha I feel that the lack of a map is both a good and bad thing for this game. It encourages exploration and immersion but also lets you get lost a lot.
It's not that bad actaully. I get lost every singel area, (only in the pit), but everything is a dead end, or a shortcut, or the main quest, and its not that hard to differentiate.
Tho I played lot of metroidvenias, so that might be the reason, why I dont find it difficult to navigate the map. Eventho you dont need a map, I dont really understand why the game doesnt have one, the game makes tons of things really easy and comfortable, like teleporing, changinh weapons/upgradeing whenever, pause the game to get a different setup, quick healing item consumption, player friendly counter intervals etc. Only played a code vein as a soulslike, started challenging and its not that bad, even if you get 2-3 shoted without healing if you dont dont spend too much points into max hp and a fuckton of stamina to work with.
@@ConCon It would be nicer to have a map. Makes no sense that I still wouldn't explore. Can beat borderlands 3 in 2 days but ill spend a week becausing of goofing off and exploring lol. I think the convience is nicer. Make selection for map or no map.
What would you recommend in terms of attribute point distribution? I'm trying to spread them out somewhat evenly but saw you had 22 just in ATK. Is this just for a playstyle or would you recommend foregoing the other stats?
Oh I was just testing it out on that new save. But evenly is actually really good, if you use abilities a lot then put more points into the last attribute because it will do so much damage and your AP will generate so fast that you can build it up and spam abilities over and over
If you are willing to spend a bit of time dying to learn enemy attack patterns, which you might do anyways, all attack will make it a bit easier to win without being hit however you will become a glass cannon.
Just got the game. Your guide is helpful. Trying a dagger and hammer combo. Two or three hits from dagger then switch to hammer. Also dagger dodging/rolling feels better than normal dodge and block. For attributes I'm going to try what I call 'rule of five'. That is saving up 5 points from leveling and putting three in primary attack stat and two in HP. Any extra/bonus points will be put in the third stat so it's not totally useless. One piece of advice you missed - if you see a rather large area ahead of you, save the game before going forward 'cause chances are it's going to be boss fight.
The bracelets also turn into weapons. So if you want to do a fully magic build but also want to use weapons you can use the bracelets. Although the magic weapons are not the easiest to use they deal a TON of damage.
I'm 3/4ths through my first play through and did not know about at least half the tips. Thank you! What are your thoughts on the currency? I want to upgrade my weapons and buy the Starite ore fragments, but wasn't sure if its needed for something else later on. This is my speed run at level 20 so trying to prep for the NG+

Thanks for the tips ... A question please does the slower weapons aka hammer do more damage cuz when i rewind your video a couple of times to compare with other weapons and i dont see any different.. in fact i guess the daggers did more than the hammer?
My daggers and staff are the only fully upgraded weapons in the video, so don't compare the damage. Daggers, staff, spear and sword and shield are really good and easy to play

But im the kind who used to play slow heavy weapons with high damage kind so i was wondering if the hammer would really do significant high damage or slightly higher which would be not worth it cuz i didn't start leveling any weapon yet and i dont even know if there is a way to respec your points or not ... Cuz I'm playing on challenger difficulty and i dont want to waste any points without knowing the damage difference. Sorry for the long reply

I pre ordered this and at first it was decent but after an hour in it becomes so much better and the spells and skills are actually really good. Sad thing is if this game was polished it wouldn’t be good it would be great. For a small budget title I’m surprised I went into this game expecting a somewhat decent game kill sometime I’m glad I was wrong. Very enjoyable once you get used to low visuals
Thanks to this video I found the blacksmith. I swore I tried talking to her and I couldn’t so I never went back to her. I was getting my butt kicked with my level one weapons lol.

Yea it's kinda bullshit, that was the whole point of pre-ordering. I ended up refunding it on series x a couple hours ago and buying on ps5.

They are just from talents, it just allows you to turn them off or on if you want

Magic gems, it's one of the earliest talents you can unlock. The more gems you have (max 3) the faster the blue bar fills up

It's a hard game to traverse but it requires you to learn where to go. It was an interesting experience
