The things I will say about the PAB it combines very well with the be patient advice. I was considering ordering some parts from the Lego website. But instead I waited a few weeks and now I was able to get so many great parts off the wall way cheaper than ordering those parts would have been. The website or Bricklink is great for hard to find stuff. But for the really common items patience is key. It will be on the PAB wall eventually. Oh, and secondary tip get to know your Lego store staff. The staff is there to help, and they aren't just retail jockeys like at most stores. Lego is all about customer service and the staff will definitely do anything they can to help you.

I’m like a kid in a candy store! 😂 The staff in my local LEGO store are brilliant so I totally agree with you. An essential tip for a lego city which may be controversial, buy non official lego and ko bricks. I've done this method for large supports for my elevated subway line and highway, saved a lot of money this way.

Humidity is tricky as things can get mouldy. I don’t really have that problem where I live but maybe you could look into using the granules to absorb moisture. If you have a large LEGO collection in a large room, maybe you could try a dehumidifier but you would need to consider running costs as well. Even indirect UV light will turn LEGO yellow. @@henrys_bricks Humidity near the equator seems to hasten rate of discoloration for white bricks. Ive been studying old photos and recent ones to determine extent of damage. Usually keep the windows closed to avoid further moisture damaging the bricks. But I have to use trial and error to find an effective solution. Another problem I have is dust
Not sure how large your LEGO collection is but acrylic boxes to display your sets keeps the dust off and still looks great. Display shelves with glass doors like the Billy Bookcase from IKEA also another idea. I’ve also just got a set of soft brushes that I use to clean the dust off my LEGO and it’s been a game changer! 😉😃
