    Nice video, but did you really measure in the middle between sprocket front and rear? and on the sidestand the slack is even lesse because of the weight of the bike (suspension)? I am just asking not critisizing, because I want to do it myself...

    Best no BS bike mechanic on the interwebs! I'm sure you can help me with my problem. Let me give you some background info.
    Bike is the same as yours, 06 honda CBR 600 RR (A)
    Fuel pump stopped priming but I figured out it's the pump assembly. While waiting on the assembly to get here, I started noticing something different.
    My starter solenoid does rapid clicking.
    Before the clicking g started, the bike would always crank, just wouldnt turn over (no fuel)
    Now it doesnt try to crank at all, just rapid clicks from the starter solenoid.
    Any suggestions?

      Is your battery, good and fully charged..?

    • @Dwit2EEs
      @Dwit2EEs 3 года назад +1

      True it's my battery being too low so the starter solenoid repeatedly tries to kick in. New battery and pump assembly coming Tuesday so I will update you here on the progress

      @@TheOldMechanic UPDATE TIME!!
      So I charged these battery and still didnt start but at least that solved the rapid clicks on the starter solenoid.
      Now to update you on my primary problem Fuel pump wont prime.
      Afterr my diagnosis I figured it out, there's no power being received from the pigtail of the pump that connects to the harness. Did a straight connection to the battery from the pump and it was dead. Ordered another fuel pump assembly and connected that to a battery an EUREKA!!!
      installed it on the bike and now she starts!!!!!!
