@AzureDragoonGX This Proto fal'Cie was INSANELY inspired by Skynet. Terminator movies: Skynet also *caused* its own existence by sending the Terminator back in time. FFXIII-2: this Proto fal'Cie went back in time to make sure it would continue to exist!
So basically, the Proto fal'Cie makes sure its built in the past. When it dies in the future its past self travels forward in time to battle Noel and Serah ... It's confusing stuff, I know
@thetranmaster The proto fal cie went back in time and ordered the AI (artficial intelligence) to build the proto fal cie, when ever it dies the AI is continously rebuilding the proto fal cie, thats why he it keeps regenerating. The proto fal cie tried to protect the distortion that created it, the paradox and the future and past intersecting, when a new proto fal cie was created it could travel to the future
This is my first time watching the scene of Serah screaming at Hope because I skipped that scene the first time through. I was pretty much thinking, "There's no way that's what I'm supposed to do. Let's just fight this thing again, and get on with it."
@IzanagiProductions1 A fictional artificial intelligence system which became self-aware and decided to kill humanity in the Terminator franchise. o3o It was made by humans, similar to Hope creating the fal'Cie that decided to destroy humans.
This game, and the last one revolve around Hope. "Preserve Hope this"... "Find Hope that" "Save Hope" I swear I don't think there's a single Chapter in 13 or 13-2 where someone doesn't mention him
Figures, and here I thought that Hope wasn't going to screw things up in the sequel, but instead he indirectly creates Final Fantasy's version of Skynet... At least this time it isn't fully his fault...
I was upset when I did this! *Sees boss* "F*** not you again!" *kills, skips cutscene* "WTF AGAIN!?" *kills boss* "Oh, look! Live Trigger! Ok, think... 'Scream at Hope'? F*** THAT! Ima do everything else! :D" *3 battles later* "Oooohhhh, I get it now! Yelling at Hope solves EVERYTHING!" lolz I fail at decision making XD
This part is so frustrating for the Moster Professor.. So You get to fight 3 forms right? During first meeting right?. Anyone know about Chaos Bahamut Valhasa data I think am missing it? I think have All.. it's a little frustratin when the doc don't let you know what is missing.. Do you have to play all reverse paradox level's too? How bout the Champion monsters like Lightning and Omega do they count? what bout the one's don't have.. like have to buy..?
@@NeoDanomaru I guess you can say that. Despite being reminiscent of past final fantasy villains his reasons are in the end to free Yuel. Because Yuels visions drain her life and the the ripple effect caused by Etro saving Lightining and friends in XIII caused historical changes that caused Yeul to have more visions. So Cauis travels plots to kill the goddess and in response the goddess rips Lighting from her time to become her champion. The ingenious part of Caius plane is after he turns into Bahumutt and gets defeated he goads Nole into stabbing him in the heart because that was the only way to kill him. But because the heart of choas is the heart of Etro it allowed for his plan to succeed even though Noel and Sarah won the battle. The bad ending even though it was just a cliffhanger to sell the next game was really well executed and really just added to all the cool things that were already cool about the character.

High-key my favorite boss in the game, lol
Theme music is called limit break when you first fight it

The Proto Fal'cie reminds me of the Human-Reaper with that single arm
well 14:28 that one way to stop it sreacm at hope and change ALMOST FALLING INTO

Don't know how, but I ended picking every answer BUT the right one. Guess it was worth it in the end though, because of that damned Bestiary mission.

Oh yes, because there couldn't possible be a more common usage to the word that can be what many of those are referring to.

ThrustingTurtlez I feel your pain
They knew it would be the option nobody selects.
@@mryoshiyoshi451 yup, it happened to me today
Throw Mog is just ridiculous and hilarous
*I keep getting that feeling... why does the background remind me a bit of Persona 4 (when you fight Proto Fal'Cie Adam & the screens are yellow.)?*
cerberus paradigm is just way too powerful XD
Book of Prophecies
somebody tell me without spoilers wether im gonna be able to control any otther character besides serah and noel
@alexis9000 because he IS a proto fal'cie. He was a prototype, a creation, not the real thing.

Love ur vids man. This time paradox is starting to give me a headache...
@Naptown93 Breaking the Limits
No, wait... Crap, that's not right... GAH, MY HEAD HURTS
NemesisSP my dad thinks this artist is motor mouth
can u continue to grind on this boss?
Yes you can, but *never* yell at hope.
Easy fight eva for meh lol then again fighting every monster i c and a fail effort to hunt fragments may helped
I'm losing track, is Caius a villian or a hero!?
villian 4 me
Anti-hero
He's a complex villain with smpyathtic motives. He wants to end time but not out of malice, but to stop Yeul from dying and reincarnating.
@@Rasengan9000ttt So Anti-villain?
