There used to be a curandera in San Antonio that would be at one of the local flea markets on the weekend that was seen as very good with her premonitions for someone. SA is my hometown so I was always familiar with these ladies and respected them. You could usually obtain herbs, etc. for natural healing from them. One time a friend from out of state came to visit and we went to the market over the weekend. We eventually got to the place where the curandera was and this friend didn't believe anything about what I told them. She did go in and talked to her and when she left, she was definitely scared. She said the lady was telling her things that were things only she knew and some premonitions that scared her so much she said she couldn't stay for the whole visit.
