because back in 2012 or so (when these comments where made) ezpups took a break from the furry community to focus on my little pony (which back then had a stigma for being seen as the anti furry cartoon with slurs like yiff in hell and burn all furries being thrown around by bronies back then) back then the kids who grew up learning art from her were legit scared that ezpups would abandon the furry community entirely to focus on mlp and eventually put bani up as an adoption/closed species for someone to buy (like what happened to splash kitty artist when the original owner of splash decided to focus on motion art/logo design rather than animation) ezpups wasn't the first but also not the last to abandon furries for another fandom back then what also didn't help was once homestuck was at its peak, many "animation memers" who tried to take banis throne were groomed into reading homestuck and became obsessed with it (focusing more on wanting to date/become the trolls rather than their original mission statement they claimed they wanted to do) by 2015 (pre undertale) ezpups (then known as saber panda) was nearly on the verge of closing her old bani the kitty channel and making a new channel that focused on mlp (due to some trauma or something that happened regarding the bani character which gave her imposter syndrome), by then she was attending the school of visual arts in nyc (the school that famous names like rodney greenblat, rebeccah sugar and the creator of courage the cowardly dog also attended) and she felt too old for furry characters like bani (claiming that bani represented her 14 year old self and she didn't have time for not just animation but also art as well) back on topic luckily that mlp channel i mentioned would eventually become her gaming channel where she would play indie games, boomer shooters and rhythm games (which that format would evolve into the twitch channel she started in 2018) by 2017 or so ezpups returned to the internet with bani and all with a beautiful piece of art featuring all the bani designs (including a modernized design thats designed to be cute) and started making real furry art and pokemon art for the first time in nearly a decade right now she has an arm injury though so she hasn't been active since 2022 or so but luckily she also has a beautiful alt design of bani (known as starlight bani) dont tell bani that i know this stuff thats how i got blocked by her on twitter (idk if she blocked me in the way jelly jess blocked people who mentioned her past as an lpstuber or if she doesn't wanna put up with my s**t anymore) cuz getting blocked by ezpups on twitter is the art community/amc equivalent to getting blocked by toby fox just like if you mention toby fox's past with andrew hussie and homestuck on twitter mentioning ezpups past regarding her abandonment of the furry fandom might stop you from getting art from her if you wanna chat with bani just be careful

I agree man. An animation for example is something you find on Kerohamuzu2009's channel, with actual frames of someone/something moving, or just look at any cartoon. I wouldn't go around calling someone names, but I'd agree, most "animation memes" are just some 3 frame piece of ish anyone could make in about 10 minutes :T I don't understand why things like this get so many views, they're not even animations. Some frames just look like they've been drawn over to look "animated". ._.

The person I'm referencing was her best friend for 4 or 5 years, SHE promised to keep their friendship, but SHE decided to say "oh I'm not going to try anymore". i have to agree with him. not on the whole meme/rip off part, but for the part about animation. it really is quite half assed. i don't care if that's how it looked for the original, she could've made it better. it really is like a slide show, and it probably took minimal effort.

i have to agree with him. not on the whole meme/rip off part, but for the part about animation. it really is quite half assed. i don't care if that's how it looked for the original, she could've made it better. it really is like a slide show, and it probably took minimal effort.
Kitten told us in her journal that they begged her to tell Bani to keep animating. Still, it's very rude to spread her username around like that when clearly she doesn't want the giant fandom again.

Really? She didn't leave her friends! Kitten said they're both still great friends and nothing has changed. And she just hasn't been motivated to animate, but she's still drawing. We all just need some time to let that sink in. She might have tiny animations like this one every few months but she still is alittle bit more active on DA. I'm not saying this to be mean or anything, I'm just saying what I know. Btw I don't think Bani is selfish. She just needs some time to stop animating for awhile.
