Warp Brothers - Attention

So let's face it, people. What a wonderful day. Over the weekend we got the good news that our new single Attention is #1 best new Techno track on Beatport and this morning our sleepy eyes could hardly believe that Spotify put us on the top two playlists for Techno tracks. Electronic Rising and Techno Bunker!!! This is insane. We've been producing and involved in this crazy music world for almost 23 years now, and if there's one thing we really care about, it's making music. We're both at an age where some people think about retirement but we say f*** that, because we're never too old to rave. We love our old Hard Trance sound, but we always had a strong affinity for Techno, which you could hear on our albums. The fact that we were able to land such a smash hit with "Attention" after 23 years makes us incredibly proud, but also incredibly happy. True to the motto, the older the better, we will be never tired of going full throttle. Our special thanks go to Lilly Palmer, who discovered this song that we actually didn't want to release until she asked us if we had lost our minds. Well, she signed it to her label Spannung Records and now we have the Salat (that's a typical German expression that can best be translated as "now we have a nice mess" and of course that is to be understood ironically). We hope that with this number we were able to draw a line between our old Hard Trance sound and the newschool Techno and are over the moon about this successful start. A special thanks also goes to Kontor New Media GmbHia and Spotify and now tear up these damn speakers until you turned neighbours into hardcore ravers!!!
