💈💙🐢Thank you for the summary, especially. What is a historian? …. (even when this question is posed by a Synagogue tour guide, which is what I do) .. Our St. Thomas community existed in 1820s seeing Europe under Napoleon’s influence. We questioned the morality of slavery but capitulated to international law and helped enforce it … albeit without active cooperation. The ending at this post publishing about Ukraine … at this time … is so meaningful. Thanks

If you’re in either Toronto or NYC nowadays, Professor, I urge you to take the greatest of care.
All I see nowadays, as far as Jews are concerned, coming from those very scary, occupied-looking places, are vitriolic attacks. 😢

I can't find a concise chronological summary of his story on youtube. This lecture is distracted with modern day affairs regarding its interpretation. Anyone have such a link?
