The vans grip pattern is the same as the bottom of their classic shoe. Not sure why I didn't notice that earlier.

I really wanted to like these grips, they got gummy and nasty really quick and I could never make them snap back properly. I’m gunna get a throttle tube and a set of lowbrow grips next time. Was severely disappointed about these grips after being dedicated to putting them on my bike
