The scariest thing about Monika... in comparison to the other girls, her eyes are almost always focused on the screen. She is looking at you.

She’s also meant to stand out, she has the different socks, but you can’t really see them when playing the game, and her name ends with a not i like the other girls, and the fact like you said that she is always kind of breaking the fourth wall

original choreographer/monika from AX masquerade here ;) omg you girls ATE!!! LOVE that you got the poses in there!!! i wasn’t sure if anyone noticed what i was trying to do at that part but you totally got it! and the glitches 😍😍 the ending 😍 wow!! Amazing job!!
some fun facts: i wasn’t allowed to keep “noose” for the performance, which is why it was switched to the og monica no. 5 for that part lol. so happy you got to keep that edited monika no. 5 audio for extra edge!! and the lights turning off at the end was actually a mistake which worked in our favor, it’s so funny to me that it’s intentionally used here and works really well. Thank you for bringing this incredible production value to my dance!! And thanks for listening, ahaha!

It pleases my soul to see people still making vids (music/otherwise) in honor of this game. DDLC was an amazing experience.
i like how in this all the girls except monika look like they're more computer animated if that makes sense. kinda like all the girls are confident but monika in her head is going like "and one and two and pose and freeze..." yet when the others get deleted she becomes more confident
I like how in the original video, I'm pretty sure the lights going out was a mistake, but you've repurposed the blackout to great effect here! I also love the touches at the end, like the petals and the L-O-V-E cupcakes. Great video!

I noticed how each girl has a different facial expression. Sayori is pretty much always smiling before she gets killed off, Yuri expression is more sad looking and Natsuki is all smug while dancing and with her smile. Monika doesn’t really have any change in her facial expression but most scenes is always facing at the viewer. I like how the kept all these subtle quirks of the characters in.

Hey hey! I really like how the dances show the characters' personalities, for example Yuri dances more awkwardly, Monica dances properly, and Natsuki and Sayori are energetic and fun. You did a good job!

Okay, maybe I'm truly discovering the magic of cosplay through this, as if other friends and a few videos haven't helped me do so a little already, but seeing these characters "in real life" is quite wonderful and surreal, what a great and perfectly crazy tribute. Also, spoilers for the video, but...I hate to admit it, 2:18 made me feel a certain way. 😅

This dance has inspired me to make my own. After lockdown I am going to be performing in front of my whole school. All my friends that Have the same names as all the club participants!

Things i kinda realised :
0:27 Monika is the only was whose face wasn’t covered and the other girls were, maybe this is because near the end of the game monika is the only one alive until MC deletes her
1:12 Natsuki’s head was tilted and her death is her neck snapping

so in light of my last comment I went through the song and focused on one character trough the whole thing, trying to find things that I found odd, out of place or something I didn't originally notice (feel free to mention anything that I missed!)
Monika - Nothing obvious, but @Jiya Moreno said that she looks at the camera more
Sayori - her movements are generally more apathetic and depressed, from 0:33 she frowns when moving her paper
Yuri - her facial expression ever changes (except for 2:15 where she smiles)
Natsuki - 0:33 her neck snaps behind the paper, 1:11 she snaps her neck.

Real attention to detail here. Monika has black socks, sayori has her jacket loose and Yuri is the tallest one.

It's creepy and incredibly well edited that when Monika is dancing by herself and the lighting chance that the bodies disappear but the dancing looks all the same.
