this felt way too quick for me personally. Why have Jio give a whole speech only for this to happen one chapter later. Feels like the mangaka changed their plans which lead to this development. At least the comedy is nice. Poor Reno still getting dunked on even after his whole arc. I will say Schmidt is already proving to be a very useful travel companion. Unlike our duo he has a lot of knowledge of the world. So the world building will only get even better as we saw this chapter. Plus having a character who's investigating the main mystery of Neraid is nice. His manipulative tactics remind me of Gen from Dr Stone. Basically not too mad he's here on the team. My hope for future arcs is the recruitment of new team members is more natural. I'm fine with unexcepted picks. After all, in a normal shonen story it may have been someone like Reno who joins us. However, I'd like it if we got to get to know the characters a bit more before they come along the journey
