Something to consider, if the customer is having to pay for a new TXV then one with a removable filter screen could be purchased if possible so that if it is causing feeding problems a quick screen replace will save more money in the future for them.

Good job Jumper, That kink in the line was no good, but one thing I'm not sure is that you might have to open the solenoid valve when brazing and/or charging and recovering, Good job regardless.

You are correct. He needed to put a magnet 🧲 on the solenoid. Not criticizing just how I would do it.

So is there like a target subcooling number you shoot for or do primary rely on site glass? I've been working more on reefer at my job that have 404a but has been moving to 452a.

👍🇺🇸💪❄️ ever use 56% or 95/5 soft solder with liquid flux when doing txv ? Idea to spend less time heating with valve. Get in get out.
