Renovation of Navy's HNLMS Johan de Witt for Future Operations is almost completed

One of the largest ships in the navy is about to return to the heart of the maritime branch, the port of Den Helder. With the DMO as the ultimate responsible party, the transport colossus HNLMS Johan de Witt is currently undergoing both renovation and major maintenance at Damen Naval in Vlissingen. In April 2023, the ship will dock in Den Helder and enter the final phase of the project. By early 2024, the Johan de Witt will be ready for navy operations worldwide.
