My nephew loves this game, he almost finish it in japanese but when he got the one with the translation he spend a day play it to finish it and he did. Talking about dedication
I've fallen in love with the duo of Reiji and Xiaomu since the first Project X Zone, which led me to go back and play Super Robot Wars Endless Frontier on the DS before Project X Zone 2 came out just for them.
I always wanted to play this, and I actually found it through it's intro song. I was disappointed to hear it wouldn't be brought over, though I was so thankful the sequels were brought over. What I'd love is to see this game put on the PS Marketplace.
I discovered Project X Zone thanks to some characters I love, but was lost in oblivion in Bandai Namco's library, appearance. It's a great crossover game! Now I'm playing the sequel and loving each new appearance and interaction with the characters! Can't wait to see the next adventure of Arisu and Xiaomu on this multiverse if Nintendo and Square joins the party for real!
I have Project X Zone 2 (mainly due to Fire Emblem and Xenoblade's involvement) and would love to see more from them in the future. Shame earlier titles didn't get an official Western release, though, but it's fun to see just how many characters actually managed to stay in the series and were there from the beginning.
So happy this was picked for Region Locked. I've been a fan of Namco X Capcom and the other games branching off on it. And one of the most awesome couples in video games.
I had already started emulated and played this game recently. uhhhhh.... I actually can't remember how I found it before this. Still, the game introduced me to many series I didn't know of and is a great piece of history for Namco and Capcom!
I remember hearing about and getting excited for this game when I first heard about it in college. It's sad it never made it to the west in the end but when I saw Project X Zone advertised in Neo magazine I pre-ordered it as soon as I could! It's become one of my favourite 3DS games and were it not for Smash Bros 3DS it probably would be my top game for that handheld. Rather fittingly, I was halfway through playing PXZ when I was in Japan!

You forgot Super Robot Wars Original Generation *Mugen no Frontier* games that uses this style of gameplay as well. Not to mention that *both* the two main characters of Namco x Capcom show up as characters in those games.
I want this game so bad...I don't have a computer strong enough for the rom. Thank you for info on this game! I've been so passionate about learning what I can about the characters. I have a playlist with videos about all the games with the characters used in NxC and Project X Zone series so if anyone else is curious about the characters, hopefully that helps!
Super Robot Taisen Original Generation Saga: Endless Frontier got me into this series. PXZ was fun and PXZ2 is insane, one of the funniest games I've played. Nice to get some backstory on how this all came about.
In my opinion, the Namco X Capcom and Project X Zone games are some of the best crossover games out there. While the game play is not for everyone and the games can be long it delivers on what everyone wants from a crossover, and that's character interaction. Don't get me wrong, games like MvC and Smash are better games but the X series (what I'm calling it) is just a better Crossover series than either. Now if only we could get a game that brings back the none humanoid characters like Klonoa.
Brawl did something similar with the Subspace Emissary, although the lack of dialogue definitely puts it a step below the, uhh.. "X" series, in terms of storytelling. That's a weird name, since it's written as "X", but pronounced as "cross" =P
+CometX-ing I consider the Namco X Capcom / Project X Zone universe the true canon universe for all the characters. Also, I call it the Crossdimension (I played the Neptunia franchise too much XD ).
I'd like to see Region Locked episodes for Fatal Frame IV: Mask of the Lunar Eclipse, Giftpia, Kamen Rider Battride War and Tomato Adventure...maybe a special Starfy series episode about the first four games in the franchise and boy do I wish they'd localized Namco X Capcom...my sister actually bought the strategy guide for it

15th Anniversary of Namco X Capcom (2005-2020)
I'm just blown away by the collaboration efforts between the companies
DYKG Klonoa when?
Is that the same Dazz who gave Caddy Cheesy?
The one and only!
Big fan of your work/trolls :)
I'm glad you guys finally covered this game. This was definitely a game for its time.
I love the trio Reiji, Xaiomu, and Saya! Did you know they were also in the Super Robot Wars (Super Robo Taisen) series? These 3 always appeared in games that also had Kos Mos in crossovers.
I didn't know that this was the first 'ProjectXZone' game. Also seeing King and Felicia together is just amazing, thanks for this good video :)
I think this game is pretty awesome.I wouldn't care what other people think. This franchise would've been popular in the gaming charts....Every time I see this game I wanna play it so bad,I even tried to download the PS2 emulator to play it.....I hope now that this game comes out for download on PS4.
My nephew loves this game, he almost finish it in japanese but when he got the one with the translation he spend a day play it to finish it and he did. Talking about dedication
Where and how can I get this game?
I want to play it since it seems addictive.
I remember watching the opening cinematic on G4 back in the day.
Man I wish we got this game, glad we got Project X Zone but PXJ doesn't have Klonoa damnit!!!
The two main characters also appear in Super Robot Taisen OG Saga: Endless Frontier on Nintendo DS.
this attach system is going to be used in South Park the fractured but whole
I have Project X Zone 2 (mainly due to Fire Emblem and Xenoblade's involvement) and would love to see more from them in the future. Shame earlier titles didn't get an official Western release, though, but it's fun to see just how many characters actually managed to stay in the series and were there from the beginning.
5:30 As much as I loved J-Stars Victory VS, that's something I'm surprised not alot of people pointed out.
Yooo! My boy Klonoa hanging out with Megaman and Roll!
So happy this was picked for Region Locked. I've been a fan of Namco X Capcom and the other games branching off on it. And one of the most awesome couples in video games.
Although I'm not that big a fan of Namco, I was very pleased to see Valkyrie, Wonder Momo and Bravo Man in this game!
Love the opening theme! Brave New World is gorgeous. I've wanted to play the game ever since hearing the song.
Namco X Capcom, ProjectXZone before Sega and Nintendo joined
It hurts to talk about this game because it wasn't released here😟
I've always wanted to play this. I love Project X Zone 1 and 2 and they reference this a lot
I want to play this game! I really enjoyed Project X Zone 1 & 2.
you can get a ps 2 emulathor and the iso and patch... I has it, took me 60 hours non consecutive on internet cafes...
but I finished it
I had already started emulated and played this game recently.
That Opening is so cool... i love it most that time dream come true when adorable character from Namco meet Capcom
I hope in the future this game can be remaster and get localize in the west...
shinra huh so square was involved too?
As someone who plays super robot wars, I was all over this game back then. Especially after the fan patch came out. My only gripe was that you couldn't pick your teams! So frustrating lol. Was a good game tho
should point out that while yes Project x Zone is techinally game 4 in Reiji's story arc as Endless Frontier and EF EXCEED preceed it so the actual continunity is this NxC, EF, EF EXCEED, PxZ, PxZ2
Says the word "plot" and Morrigan appears on screen. Good editing.
Reiji and Xiaomu also appears in Super Robot Wars OG Saga: Endless Frontier / Exceed
I love the fact that they made a video about this game.
I wish the "get close to another unit will start a strong attack" mechanic was still kept
Obviously we now need an episode on Super Robot Wars.
I got this game at home when it was released I bought it cause I loved street fighter and tekken I didn’t know it was an rpg game until I got it and played it I beat it after 4 days after beating it I was wishing it came to the USA in English but it never did this is one of the games I wish Sony put for sale on digital ps2 on PS4 but it never happened instead they put other games plus you get trophies for playing them
3:19
Sounds like the exact same problem Project X Zone had.
Always wanted to try Namco x Capcom. Good to know I can emulate a translation
One of a gem of a game for the PS2. Despite the language barrier, I somehow manage to finish this game
Ohhhh I remember playing this like 6 YEARS AGO! Was an amazing game tho
Project X Zone is seriously so good.
You forgot Super Robot Wars Original Generation *Mugen no Frontier* games that uses this style of gameplay as well. Not to mention that *both* the two main characters of Namco x Capcom show up as characters in those games.
The game that united developers, but not regions.
Nice to get some backstory on how this all came about.
you should trty NXC, itr's like those games, but in my opinion, better
Chris Reyes Japan does that a lot.
Like MHX. :V
+CometX-ing I consider the Namco X Capcom / Project X Zone universe the true canon universe for all the characters. Also, I call it the Crossdimension (I played the Neptunia franchise too much XD ).
This game’s opening is the hypest shit
I'd like to see Region Locked episodes for Fatal Frame IV: Mask of the Lunar Eclipse, Giftpia, Kamen Rider Battride War and Tomato Adventure...maybe a special Starfy series episode about the first four games in the franchise
and boy do I wish they'd localized Namco X Capcom...my sister actually bought the strategy guide for it
Good thing I got in to the X zone series.
I imported this game along time ago. Totally awesome.
I lost it when Yuri and Flynn were being thrown around by segata sanshiro.
I need this game.
SeSan is from Project X Zone 2
Nice how when he says "plot" at 3:24, it cuts to Morrigan.
Is it possible for you guys to do a Region Locked on the Sakura Wars series? It's a wonderful franchise that needs more global recognition.
Deep down I've been wanting to see namco X capcom imported for the ps4 this game made crossover so impactful
