    I love how much you love your car, I could speak all day about it too. This is my second, I started with the 4.2 with the Bordeaux interior which is like a deep oxblood red, not the in-your-face Rosso red, looked incredibly classy combined with the black exterior but I've recently changed to the 4.7 in this facelift shape, same spec but yellow brakes and red stitching on the seats instead of white. Amazing cars. The only few things I have changed/ planning to change are: windscreen wipers- Those old looking things had to go immediately, replaced with some hybrid blades (flat aero blades also look better if you can't find hybrids) License plate bulbs- The yellow looks so dated, white looks so much more crisp. Wheel spacers- for some reason, I assume suspension geometry setup for handling meant they had to have the wheels sit quite far inboard. They look a lot better flush with the arches. And finally head unit upgrade - I didn't buy a car which sounds and drives like this to be bothered with tech but it ages the interior soo much, I've seen the ones which have been updated conservatively and it brings the interior right upto date. Especially in the eyes of people/ passengers who aren't really into cars and just want everything to look nice. Expensive and I'm not too fussed at the moment but I'll get round to it at some point.
    Nice vid! Hope you enjoy it for many years to come. Mine is staying with me as a toy no matter what the price does. 👍

    So elegant, so attractive, so loud but as a GT, can be driven completly cool at 30m/h in 5th gear...

    I just got a used 2014, they are under $40k now if you shop around. Can't believe what a wonderful car it is for that money. Thanks for this video because at first I wasn't planning to drive it all that much. But the more I read and see videos like this the more confident I am getting in the reliability. Of course I work from home so even a daily driver for me won't get much use.

Lots if wrecked/rebuilt title cars out there, Odometer rollbacks ( Notorious in Tampa and Miami) and " Garage Queens" ...ones that old guys had and never drove and are excessively low mile...these have shrunken seals and they piss oil and coolant everywhere.
    PS- oil change...35 minutes/55$ easy

      Look up the cost of maintenance. Brake pads alone for ONE wheel are over $600. ONE brake rotor is like $800. A strut is about $1500 for ONE. Doesn't include installation. Oil changes are $500-600 if you have them done by a dealer.

    To all of you owners...if it's comfortable to drive, why isn't comfortable for long drives? Looks like it would be driving from your lazyboy?! Serious question, as im contemplating a 2010 granturismo.

      Well it’s a comfortable ride I should say I don’t prefer driving it for 2-3 hrs … I do it all the time but compared to a sedane or a nice smooth luxury suv , it is a sports car ….

    • @jdev232

      @growinggoodinthedirt-xf2to I guess I understand? I'm coming from driving ram trucks (recently downsized to nissan frontier), 03 wrangler on 35" tires and 5.5" of lift that I've driven 2700 miles across the country, dodge challenger rt 6sp is about the "sportiest" thing I've ever owned, which does a comfortable 140 on the interstate (from what I've been told).....so this would be my first foray into the sports car market. Test drove a boxster, was disappointed. I want fast, fun, classy, and stylish..granturismo seems to tick all the boxes. Also considered jaguar f-type. Thanks for the video and your input for my question. 👍🏼

      DO NOT BUY! I did research on these. They are money pits. Plus, they are not really performant. They remind me of American muscle cars wherein they go fast straight line, but I have not heard ANY owners of these people on RUclips gloating about how they handle on curves. Plus, the interiors are really lame except for the leather seats. You are better off looking at a modern BMW which blows this car away from a price/performance perspective. Also, all these Maseratis have crazy electrical issues like Jaguars. The other issue you mentioned is that they are not really comfortable, despite the nice leather.

    • @jdev232

      @robertm3730 lol. I didn't. Unfortunately wife bought an f-type, which looks great and runs fast as hell. No issues thus far. 2018 only 22k when we bought it in April. I bought a 14 boxster for myself 6spd sport chrono w/ x73 suspension. It's a blast to drive. 19k miles on it. You live and learn I guess

    11:45 “they wish they had this car” facts true even today. I’m black and I’m only 19 but these go for 20k in California. So instead of a hellcat I’d rather save up for this with driving trucks.

    • @robertm3730
      @robertm3730 18 дней назад

      Do your research. These go for 20K because the maintenance are Ferrari prices and THIS is NOT a Ferrari. Like the guy said, he pays $600 for an OIL CHANGE! if you need your brakes done, well then, your 20K car just cost you around $8000+ just for new brakes and rotors. I am NOT KIDDING. A strut cost for this car costs like $1500. Times 4, it's $6000 and that is not including labor. Plus, these cars are not as performant as modern cars and the interiors are kind of lame actually other than the leather seats.
