Charlie is an amazing player. He never disappoints.EVER.
Melhor baterista que fez cover do Bonham que técnica e que energia
Charlie kicks major ass!!! One of my favorite drummers and SOOO under rated!!!
This is what happens if you spend time practicing drums and drop the attitude...cue Lars..

Yep, Lars clearly concentrated more of being
a rockstar after the Black Album tour.
Probably stopped practicing at all after that.
Maybe he never really had a passion for
his instument, and had a just a goal to be
big and famous, which he reached.
Metallica was a great band in 80’s, but
after that it’s been downhill.
Charlie has always been just a music
lover, and it has never changed.
He’s really nice guy, and a great drummer. ✌️
Perfection
Having a good time
Charlie beat those drums into submission. Wish I was there...
It's nice to see a guy who loves his work
Great Charlie-Work!!
great stuff!
bonzo and him have the heaviest hands in the business kid! and they both have impeccable timing thats their trademark! he kills it all the time every night like bonzo did! similar same just different eras
sir you are a gentleman and scholar! good taste man here here!
Charlie from Anthrax RULES!!!!
Charlie gots d groove 🤝👏🤟🤘🤙👌👍
Nailed it!!!! (Cool to see a little bonzo's montreux!!!)
Killer band...
just sat killed it thats all that needed to be said!
he has those hi-hats down
Agreed C Donn, but give credit where credit is due. He does emulate the drum parts better than the average Joe as if he were filling in for John Bonham on a whim. He is just winging it at a friends show and pulls it off exceptionally. Not many can do what he does and he deserves recognition for his achievements and influence in modern rock and roll. BRING THE NOISE!
He gave us Bonzo's essence and slotted his own touches in with Bonzo's playing on that song really well. Overdid it slightly but no complaints from me. Tip of the bowler hat to him!
yeah he sounds just like bonzo! thats how he would have played it okay! he was a bricklayer! and charlie is blending his metal style with zeppelin believe me bonzo would be a proud papa!
Why do they have these events for Bonham but nothing for Kieth Moon or Cozy Powell
He´s the best of all of those pricks who try to play a Zeppelin tune in the bash...Every fuckin year he owns the night!!!
D'anda
Who is the wanker at the end of the drum solo trying to join in. Let Benante do his magic.
Looks like Charlie just got there from a painting job
maluorno
Bonzo used to wear that costume from
”Clockwork Orange”.
Didn’t you know that?
He sounds nothing like Bonham! haha. And, of course he doesn't have to, he's his own drummer and his propagative is to play how he likes. Like I said though, this performance doesn't do it for me. He's just all over the place. I'd actually think he'd be WAY better suited for a Keith Moon tribute, haha
Maybe he was drunk?
keith moon was all killa too but benante is better
Over did it way too much for me, and his meter seems really bad in those fills, not much groove
I'm not hearing the "impeccable timing" here, sorry. I understand it's live but he's pushing those fills to the point of losing the groove(and the point). He needs much more than heavy hands to be like Bonham, Bonham wasn't that one-dimensional. Sorry, you can't convince me Benante is 1% like Bonham. Guess we disagree
C Donn bruh benante is a thrash drummer who invented blast beats. And he is pretty fuckin spot on. But yes bonzo is a god and no one can replace him. But in Charlie's defense he is a god in his own right. And this is a small example of his skills. Listen to A.I.R.
Agree his gruve and timing are off!!!..overplaying and ruining the song
It's really not good. Bashing looks great but doesn't cut it musically. Try slowly tapping your index finger along with this, yeah, you'll constantly be correcting your pace to match the chaos. Slight variation can be tasteful but that is not this. Classic disjointed pieces and parts, show over substance. Bonham had grace, continuity, chops and served the music well. RIP John Bonham.
No!!..over played !!!!
I really don't get it. Yet another "drummer" who can't keep time and so many are praising this? Total hack. Bring the flames, whoever cannot understand this need to be schooled otherwise we are doomed to mediocrity.
What song is he playing. Not impressed sorry. Just saying I really didn't like his playing on this Not knocking his talent.
Charlie is an amazing player. He never disappoints.EVER.
