Prosecutors dropped all charges recently due to lack of evidence. They tried to cancel this band, especially the media but the huge fanbase stood by their side, awaiting trial. Just to add a bit on that, some "brave" women gladly took their very detailed stories to journalists who then published those stories. None of them actually went to authorities but due to how much publicity this got, the Berlin prosecutors investigated on their own and their investigations have concluded much earlier than many people anticipated. In their own statement they said that no victim actually was willing to go on record and talk to them, so the case had to be closed due to a lack of evidence. A few people went on record but not actual victims. One youtuber went on record against Rammstein, she was invited to a "row zero" party however nothing bad happened to her as she just left that party when she felt uncomfortable there. Nobody had harassed her or anything there, she "just had a bad feeling". Then the case that started it all also had no concrete evidence, she was asked by Till if she would have sex with him, she said no and Till accepted that and turned away. She even confirmed that herself. Her issue was the fact that she woke up with bruises and THOUGHT somebody put something into her drink but there is no evidence for these accusations and it couldve also just been her drinking too much and not remembering. Now what I think ultimately happened is that Till obviously wants to have sex with young fans but from what we officially know is that he does make sure that he does it in a legal way with women who are willing to have sex with him. In the end you can imagine what happens in these parties and there certainly isnt a lack of groupies who would love to have sex with Till. Thats a huuge difference to cases like Weinstein. Multiple women said that Till respected a "no" when asked for sex, not one woman was found who had sex with him when they previously told him they did not want to. Of course you can argue that the victims did not want to go on record because they would lose their anonymity and fear backlash from rammstein fans but at the same time lying on record also means there are legal consequences. Now which one is true, we simply dont know but the fact is there are currently no investigations and the prosecutors found no good case for the accusations. It does leave a bad taste in many peoples mouth as so many people were already so invested in believing these women and a lot of people from that side are not convinced that Rammstein is entirely innocent but at the same time it is rather suspicious that not one women went officially on record and yet gladly told journalists their stories who obviously made a shit ton of money from that. Plenty of people still connect Rammstein with Right wing extremism because theyve not done their research and "they just have that impression" of the band, so them "abusing women" fits their narrative and makes it easy to believe.

Also, both investigations into Till have been dropped as no one actually testified. So, yeah. Please do Angst or Los by Rammstein. Los would be interesting to you as an artist from the story in the lyrics to their composition itself.

They talked about it in their Sonne making of video. I can't remember if Klitschko was mentioned but they definitely said it was written for a boxer as an entrance theme.

I'm from Germany and went to a concert in 2019 and 2022. You have to watch RAMMSTEIN - SONNE | live at Olympiastadion München 2023, that's today's fire show. Not to be compared with 2017 Rock im Park! Concerned residents called the fire brigade because they thought the stadium was on fire! Viele Grüße aus Deutschland!

Vitali is mayor of Kyiv now btw All allegations against Till were dropped.
The song was originally a commission work for the boxer Vitali Klitschko as his theme when entering the box ring...but his managment then refused the song for what ever reason. But in that boxer context you have to understand the lyrics.

About the "Gas Bill": They don't use petrol or gasoline or fuel (too dangerous). They use club moss spores (Lycopodium powder). So the flames got a relatively low heat grade, a high visual effect and it's renewable (plant based) not fossil like oil or cole or something.
In San Antonio TX sept 22, stadium was fully enclosed this song stacked so much smoke in the upper levels it was kinda funny. They played for 2+ hours I have never been to a concert like it and never will again. This band live is an experience that is unbelievable and not comparable to anything else!!!!

Many thanks for giving all members of Rammstein a chance and are not discouraged by the drama attached, really appreciate it as I love watching your reactions to Rammstein and I myself do believe in the until proven guilty stance. Till is the main lyricist for Rammstein (responsible for words and voice) and is really an actual poet - has some poem books. Also for more wider range from Till, there are still many songs that can be looked into (some already mentioned here in comments) i.e. Mein Herz Brennt (note there is two versions, there is a piano version also worth checking), Ich Tu Dir Weh, Diamant (tour performed), Seeman (it would be nice if you could check the MV or the Bizarre festival performance if the opportunity arises), Wiener Blut (based on interesting real life story - Wacken 2013). I love this band. I don't care what their political views are or what they do privately. That's on them. The music is flawless and the music brings stadiums of people together in love and acceptance. Till shows his vocals great in numerous songs. Most of the time on stage he gets a bit drowned out by the instruments. Either way i know you like their live performances but if you want to hear him great and not just his style your familiar with i could give you atleast 10 songs from him. Please do "zeit" which means time and "aduei" which is farwell.. i think its a french word. Try out these two official videos and you can clearly hear his vocal abilities. Till has a gorgeous voice when he can really focus on it. His live performances rarely sound as good as the album, but I blame the live audio recording there. "Sonne" "Ohne Dich" "Mein Herz Brennt" all show off his range and drama well. Please listen to the music video/album version for once.
I know most people are just like "oh they're German." These dudes were raised in communist east Germany and started as musicians in the east German punk scene. We're talking about a time when even dressing like a punk could get you sent to a work camp. All of this hits very different for them. I recommend the book Burning Down The Haus by Tom Mohr for a detailed account of the communist east German punk movement.

That's generally how it works with secondhand accounts. I'm currently reading the book and my impression is the author wrote the book using interviews from musicians who were in the scene and archival material, including records kept by the stasi

On the topic of their "gas bill" i believe that most of their large pyrotechnics are Cremora fireballs. And yes cremora as in the coffee creamer you can buy everywhere. If you ever went to a highschool football game and they had a pyrotechnic at the start of the game it was 100% cremora coffee creamer, becauae it is a very safe and cheap way to produce some incredible pyrotechnics.

In lived in Germany for a few years on an army/ air force base. My ex husband was in the Royal Air Force Police. We used to do most of our shopping at Ramstein Air Base and were there when that awful air crash happened in 1988. Our actual base was Oldenburg Kaserne (OBK). The US trial and legal system is based on English Common Law the right to a trial in front of a jury of your peers started in England in 1189 and you are deemed innocent until proven guilty. IMO the best system. Another great reaction guys.

Till shows his vocals great in numerous songs. Most of the time on stage he gets a bit drowned out by the instruments. Either way i know you like their live performances but if you want to hear him great and not just his style your familiar with i could give you atleast 10 songs from him. Please do "zeit" which means time and "aduei" which is farwell.. i think its a french word. Try out these two official videos and you can clearly hear his vocal abilities. Till has a gorgeous voice when he can really focus on it. His live performances rarely sound as good as the album, but I blame the live audio recording there. "Sonne" "Ohne Dich" "Mein Herz Brennt" all show off his range and drama well. Please listen to the music video/album version for once.
I know most people are just like "oh they're German." These dudes were raised in communist east Germany and started as musicians in the east German punk scene. We're talking about a time when even dressing like a punk could get you sent to a work camp. All of this hits very different for them. I recommend the book Burning Down The Haus by Tom Mohr for a detailed account of the communist east German punk movement.

That's generally how it works with secondhand accounts. I'm currently reading the book and my impression is the author wrote the book using interviews from musicians who were in the scene and archival material, including records kept by the stasi

For me it's one of the most profound songs by Rammstein, especially from a german point of view, it is always interesting to see how people from different nations react to this massage behind the song.
