Although I'm admittedly biased being born, raised, and still living in MN at age 48, I was Blessed to watch ALL of Randy's games as a Viking and regardless of what stat sheets say, he's easily the G.O.A.T. in MY eyes! He changed the game!! He was "Must See TV!"

I'm a lifelong Chicago Bears fan and to watch Randy Moss was like watching Deon Sanders, Barry Sanders and the great Walter Payton in their prime. He was unstoppable. No one could contain him. His speed. I watched the Thanksgiving game against the Cowboys in 1998 and Randy was a blur on the screen. I wish Chicago would've drafted him instead of Cade McKnown. Oh how we let Randy slip in that draft.

      40yd dash is garbage man
Bolt top speed comes in at around 60m to 80m mark...(60m is roughly 65yds)
If Bolt was measured on his 40yd time, we would think he aint that special
100m guys are building moment....its only when they head up and shoulders vertical they hit that Bolt speed (27mph 60-80m ) vs his overall average of 23mph

Prosperity Awaits Moss never had world class speed. What's ludicrous is that some people think he did. No one is born with world class speed. It takes years of sprint training along with natural talent to get there. Moss never received years of training so he couldn't be world class. It's not possible.

On NFL Network in late 2010 Mike Lombardi (Browns VP of Player Personnel) stated “Moss has never been a RAC guy, not a great route runner, a very limited receiver; if you don’t have a QB that can throw deep he’s not the guy you want and now he’s has lost a step” Numerous others have called Moss a “one trick pony” Of course it makes no sense because Moss had one of the greatest RAC in the history of college FB vs Army and has been a punt returner in college as well as the NFL but hater’s hate.

This is certainly the most gifted NFL WR we have ever seen so far! But as far as the intangibles go, there's more to being the GOAT then just pure talent. You got to have heart, leadership, and give 110% every play of every game. That's the reason why Rice is considered the GOAT. He never went out there saying "this guy can't guard me" or "I'm the best in the World". He just went out there and kicked your ass for 20 years. The greats let their play do the talking....Barry, Rice, Payton, Emmit Smith, Jim Brown....etc... I am in no way saying Moss isn't one of the GOAT's, there's just more to greatness then pure talent.

I'd still take owens based on the fact randy checked out of games. When Moss wanted to play he was the best thang smokin, but that's just it Randy didnt always want to play. Owens may have ran his mouth but he gave you 110% on that field, and did everything moss did except jump out of the stadium and come down with everything. I'll take T.O. over moss. Its close but i like Owens passion better. you knew you were getting everything he had during games.

T.O. had too many drops for my tastes. Still though he did show up for the big games. Moss often disappeared in his.

Well, I think his drop off was really caused by the fact that he was almost 40, similar to moss now. And Wes Welker did just as well under Cassel.
They're obviously both great wr's... it just seemed like whenever Rice was on the field he was making a play, unlike almost any player ever.

Please STFU! Moss was still fast with New England. He scored 23 TD, still the most ever by a WR by burning DB’s with speed!

Thank you; yes, I'm working on the finale but I wanted to wait to add his his first TD with the 49ers this season; hopefully he'll get that first one Sunday vs the Packers.

You ever create an over powered player in Madden, and just do insane shit with said player over the course of a franchise play through? Pretty much Randy Moss during his rookie year.

@@maggiehill789 Special? LMAO! Name one person he out ran that had notable speed. Lol. He did NOT have world class speed on or off the field. He was, however run down from 5-6 yards behind by a REAL world class sprinter named Terrance Newman. Don't be a naive clown.
