Aw thank for this comment!! I love this kind of feedback! And you read my mind because I’ve been saving clips to put a video together about what I do on my time off work, will be posting it soon! But thanks again, enjoy your weekend 🤘
I don’t know why the RUclips algorithm thought I would be interested in videos about a concrete mixer driver, but I’ve been watching you for months and have enjoyed every single one of them. Your personality and dialogue are dope!
The gifted mixer was pure comedy 😅 It’s not repetitive, I think the mixture (pun intended) of the cooking, driving, the work, and you talking one on one at the end makes for great videos. Keep up the great work!
That's a distribution box, you'll notice it has several holes on the side where you can run drainage lines into then it fills up with water and it allows whatever liquid to go evenly out through different pipes evenly. The box has to be perfectly level so that's why you put concrete around it once you get it in place. This might be a septic system they're putting in but I wouldn't think so being in the city. It's probably for stormwater management.
Loving the gifted mixer lmao. The pipe that pumps excess concrete into your hopper is called a Candy Cane. At least that's what we call it over at our plant :). Keep smiling pretty lady.
@@lexflowaz Next time you are on site and the pump is cleaning out you should ask them where the candy cane is, and see how they react to it haha. I am curious if that term is widely used. Thanks! Have a great weekend yourself 😊

Hello! The vault looks like an electric utilities vault with all of the recessed knockouts for pipe accesses but may also be a septic tank. The cast iron casting on top of the vault should identify its use whether it is electric, sewer or septic. The 3 sack sand backfill is used instead of having to backfill with the soil around the perimeter of the vault. A 3 sack mix is low strength (usually less than 200 psi to allow for future removal or access to the vault. Also it is sufficiently strong enough compared to compacted soil.
Yeah, not likely septic in Brentwood or Santa Monica, those neighborhoods are way too posh for a septic system, especially Brentwood. If anything, it is massive electrical service install.
You all are correct. That is a concrete vault for an electrical transformer. When you require larger service on a site, the city can't possibly fit all of the service transformers in the street since the streets are so small, so the owner needs to place a concrete vault in their yard.
Utilities vault .They're building a big pretty house, they're not putting up/parting with any land/space for a building for transformers, and they don't want to see/look at them. It's a vanity issue.
I just love your videos, I had injured my spine back in 2015 and I have trouble leaving the house but watching these videos is my way of getting out to the job sites so keep it up and thanks for getting me to the job

Hey Lexie, your a/c makes your fan come on to cool the aircon condensor, nothing to do with engine temp. The fan does put load on your engine, not alot, but it might be enough to reduce revs quicker when you back off to change gears, making the gears feel funny, you just need to be a micro second quicker with your hand during changes when ac is on or not back off as much with the accelerator. Not repetitive at all, you are showing (most of) us a trade that is not commonly seen. Add in your humor, talking about your missing lunch was funny as heck. Keep doing what you are doing, and be very cautious with the mail box idea. 🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦

Have an awesome weekend as well! I truly enjoy watching your videos. If I was a young person watching, I would be totally fired up about being a mixer driver just because of the enthusiasm you show for your trade. II will be 58 in just a couple of days and I’ve only been a mixer driver for a year, I guess better late than never. You are right about the air condition. The engine has to work harder so it’s not your imagination lol. I hope all your dreams come true and that from this platform, the sky is the limit for you and this is only the beginning, I think it’s really cool that you’re able to work with your family and drive a big truck. My only question is… How do you stay so clean at the end of my day I look like I’ve been swimming and concrete and unless it’s an easy day, where I just have a few pump jobs, but usually no matter how hard I try I never look as clean as you do at the end of my day, keep be safe. God bless you and you are a pleasure to watch an encouragement for all of us!
Videos are not getting repetitive at all Lexie. you always manage to do a few things in each video that make me laugh or take interest in the jobs you go to. The RC mixer was brilliant. enjoyed the cooking as well...cant believe someone stole your food though..the shame. Loads of love from the UK.
Great video. You too much had me cracking up when you showed us the mixer. But In all sincerity. Your showing all of us that nothing is impossible. When you put your mind too it. Skies the limit!
There is nothing wrong with the content you are using right now. Awesome that you show us some of the sites that you deliver to and narrow streets that you manoeuvre your vehicle through. As a driver myself who had to deliver into some really tight spots with a trailer you're doing a really great job. I'm all about watching your job routes and on the job drops and sneak peeks of where and what the pour is for. Keep up the great work .... oh and your gran must be just chuffed with her grand daughter driving a huge truck😅😂
I think it would be a good idea if you got a P.O. box. A couple of videos back when you were sanding and spray painting your truck, I thought to myself, "I wish this girl had a P.O. box. I would send her a better mask". As other commenters have mentioned, repeated exposures to things like concrete dust and spray paint can be harmful to your lungs over time. Please be safe and take care of yourself. Wishing you all the best 🙂! p.s. You got me with the "gifted concrete mixer truck" 😁. Good one !
I am so glad to see you have your rosary with you in your truck, I drove dump truck for 45 years and had mine with me and never had any thing serious happen to me. You can’t go wrong with our Blessed Mother looking out for you.❤
I love your videos. I don't think they are repetitive. As someone in the construction and land development industry, every job site is different, and that's what keeps your content fresh. Keep up the great work. 👏👏👏
I was also told it was an electrical box but everyone keeps saying it’s a septic tank or bunker.. now I’m more curious than before and I’m looking online and can’t find anything that looks similar.. this box had indents and holes for pipes. they also had the pipes to the side ready to go in… so I kinda do believe it has something to do with electricity. They said the house will need too much power.. 800 volts.. correct me if I’m wrong I forgot what word he said but he made it seem like it’s more than a normal house would use
I don't think its getting repetitive at all, I personally like these kinds of "another persons life" videos. Nothing over the top, screaming, etc.. just You :D Congrats on the new mixer, looks dope! 😄 P.O Box would be a smart idea.
Yes your engine fan and AC compressor rob the engine of power to run them. Thats why you'll hear people tell you to turn your fan on before you start climbing a hill so it doesn't kick on unexpectedly and force you to downshift because of the sudden loss of power.
Oh wow great to know! Im now realizing I always have my windows down when going up a hill to see clearer and hear things, but thats good to know either way, thanks for that!!
As a plumber, we used to have to pour what is called a "thrust block", which is basically a MASSIVE concrete block/counterweight that is poured around any 90 degree blue brute/watermain pip/fittings to counter the pressure that large water mains create when the water turns 90 degrees or more~ That however, with the multiple large inlet/outlet holes, that looks to be either some kind of a grease separator/sump, or catch basin which some municipalities require in any areas where automotive, or other sources of oil could potentially enter the grey water/storm systems, especially in Cali if the storm sewer water drains directly into the ocean. Here in BC, Canada, oil separators are typically only required in commercial/industrial applications, Ie warehouses, automotive garages, industrial use buildings, etc. But I have seen them installed in residential applications for larger houses, that have LARGE garages, with potentially LOTS of cars parked on the property.
I did a little plumbing repair on a golf course just outside LA where I learned from my brother what a thrust block is. It was 6"and 8" water lines in a T configuration and it blew a hole vertical down at the T. The golf course was built on an old landfill, so we did a few repairs there. My guess is an electrical vault in the video. It could be storm water, but that is a huge box to have at the front of a building.
I enjoy the videos because I like seeing what California looks like. If you could also do videos of just showing some more of what California looks like that would be great. Like streets people and houses and cool restaurants and stuff. I agree with all the commenters too about your personality. You could honestly probably be a show host like what Ryan Seacrest does.
I think , I feel certain things with my truck. But im a long haul driver. But like if I'm low in fuel my truck works different. Never let it fall below 1/4 but ac works different. Truck trembles more. I get you. You can feel when your truck don't like something. Sometimes I think I crazy for that. And no I'm not a beginner. 25 yrs.
With ALL vehicles, putting on the AC adds tension to the engine (Turns on by a Belt). Thats why its Feels like the engine Works more (Also guzzles more gas) ⛽
When pumpers would have those elevated grates, I would add water to help it get through the grate- if possible (Flat work or any work that a higher slump will work with). If not re-position it to lay flat and then lower your chute and let gravity do its work, you won’t have to bump the grate as much.
I subbed your channel a couple days ago & have watched several videos. You're definitely on to something here, please keep going. I love your content, you're beautiful & great in front of the camera! I drive 18 wheeler across country but getting ready to switch back to oilfield work. I've always wondered about mixer trucks, it's great to see how your days go. ❤
I am new here. Just saw this video recommendation and watched some of your other vids. This is interesting! A young Latina driving & operating a concrete mixer truck in L.A, California! 🙂 Just my honest opinion -- Perhaps, do not rush to get a P.O. Box yet, and think about it. You might also get flooded with marriage or dating proposals. Also think about personal safety such as, someone else should visit the post office. I see some other suggestions of an Amazon wish list or maybe Patreon.
😳😳😂😂🤣😂You had me sold ,on your new mixer that was so classic.brah im still cracking up atm….that you for sharing another great video Lexi..keep the content. Coming .we your fan’s salute you🤙🤙🤙alohaz
I think the mixer driver are under appreciated . You are the face buyers see. You all have schedules that change daily. Remember, drivers getting off shift and returns a few hours later. To make another 30k yard plus pour. Then, no work for a bit. Fest or famine. I was hdr/welder and operator. Was wondering do they put ice in the mix for summer heat? We do here because of the heat Summer is almost always 100° plus.
Your such an Amazing Person I’m so Proud of you and your such an Amazing Driver the places you have to go into and backup Wow and the concrete mixer truck that someone gave you is so Awesome thank you so much for making me smile and thank you for sharing your videos 👏🏽
Luv the vid, Its funny how different areas say pours differently, On the west coast its chute pour on the East coast its straight pour, pump is a pump no going around that logic. I think the po box is cool it will help smaller companies get exposure with their products and all ! I hope you find out who stole your lunch ! lol
I'm a mixer driver in Colorado and during the winter the snow is our biggest problem, I can't imagine what it's like in Cali especially with all that traffic.

Iam a mixer driver in the uk, I am new to this and loving it so far. great to see how you do things in the USA compared to the UK.
Anything you do is fine. Ian new to your channel and I like it. You are an amazing young woman and creative. Do what you love and stay strong. 👍🏻🫶🏻
For the new truck use diesel fuel or form oil spray on everything you don’t want the concrete to stick makes it easier to clean
Good one !
Where electric company run underground electrical line.they split the line in different direction thru the small holes.
Lol, what a great way of letting us think you had a new truck. Love it.😂
I am so glad to see you have your rosary with you in your truck, I drove dump truck for 45 years and had mine with me and never had any thing serious happen to me. You can’t go wrong with our Blessed Mother looking out for you.❤
Good call, Kevin.
It's not getting repetitive. Love watching u work. Keep the vids coming! Your doing amazing 👏
I love your videos. I don't think they are repetitive. As someone in the construction and land development industry, every job site is different, and that's what keeps your content fresh. Keep up the great work. 👏👏👏
I feel the same about A/C I like Windows open. Also really enjoy your creative filming/ editing style. Cheers !
run your AC all you want. its good that you pay attention enough to notice the extra noises it makes but it wont hurt your truck or your car at all.
Was definitely one of your brothers who stole your lunch, i did the same thing to my sister 😂
That big concrete box is an electrical vault 👍
or a septic tank.
Bunker
Safe room. Those rich ppl in Brentwood worry about home invasions.
@@lexflowaz It's definitely not a septic there are too many cutouts
I love cloudy days (not gloomy lol) I love your driving, especially in small neighborhoods. You handle that truck as if it was a toy.
I don't think its getting repetitive at all, I personally like these kinds of "another persons life" videos. Nothing over the top, screaming, etc.. just You :D Congrats on the new mixer, looks dope! 😄
P.O Box would be a smart idea.
Good thing the diff locks were on. It was struggling as it was on that rough ground!
Congratulations on your new mixer. That was great that you actually made it go in the site. Enjoyed the video
I love your brand-new mixer truck ... it was very nice of the person to gift it to you. Thanks for all the cool vids =)
Lexie, love your energy! I see how hard you work you truly are an inspiration with all hard work opportunities and dreams come true!
For being 22 you are doing one hell of a job in life it might not seem like that to you but you are keep up the great work you are doing.
The start of your own fleet! ❤😂
You’re awesome and have great attitude. I’m sure you will be successful no matter what you do.
25 yrs.
I like the unboxing at the end of the video sounds fun can't wait to watch stay safe and God bless you
I love that you love your job. Lexie you have a GREAT attitude and are fun to watch.
I got a feeling your channel is about to explode.💥 Keep up the great work!
With ALL vehicles, putting on the AC adds tension to the engine (Turns on by a Belt). Thats why its Feels like the engine Works more (Also guzzles more gas) ⛽
Lol that’s crazy I worked at the same job site installing all the structural beams and columns!
Lexie, the box you are talking about can be anything from an electrical register to a chest to store clean water or dirty water.
Yes make a PO BOX that would be fun & interesting to watch as well as a Q&A video !
Very inspiring. You're a very lovely person. This is totally awe inspiring; and I find it rejuvenating. Greetings from Sydney Australia :)
We do here because of the heat
Summer is almost always 100° plus.
Your such an Amazing Person I’m so Proud of you and your such an Amazing Driver the places you have to go into and backup Wow and the concrete mixer truck that someone gave you is so Awesome thank you so much for making me smile and thank you for sharing your videos 👏🏽
Your new mixer is awesome like your sense of humour :)
i can watch this video all day i have learn so much about mixer driver thank you and the food you fix is awesome love see that in your video
Luv the vid, Its funny how different areas say pours differently, On the west coast its chute pour on the East coast its straight pour, pump is a pump no going around that logic. I think the po box is cool it will help smaller companies get exposure with their products and all ! I hope you find out who stole your lunch ! lol
That concrete box seems to be a swimming pool surge tank. Great videos. Get going.
your toy mixer at the end looks cool and It was the perfect gift for your playful nature...
The title sure had me fooled... but I sure had a good laugh when you showed your new mixer!! Keep up the good work. Loved the video : )
I'm a mixer driver in Colorado and during the winter the snow is our biggest problem, I can't imagine what it's like in Cali especially with all that traffic.
Youre a genuine Chick, I hope you get the man of your dreams.
