Absolutely beautiful. You got some gorgeous pieces of crazy lace in there. The Bay agates were a really nice surprise to see as well. Beautiful polish on all the rocks. Nice job!
Hi Jason, this was like “the agate movie” the music was so relaxing and the agates were so exciting! Just when I’m thinking what an amazing agate you zoom in and it just gets better, I just couldn’t pick a favourite 😍🤩 Loved this video ❤️❤️
Another intressting video,, they don't make tumbler barrels like they use too,, well, they don't make anything like they use too😂 I particularly like the before and after shots, really shows the difference. Beautiful end results,, 👍😃
MJR tumblers are poor quality. I purchased a 12lb from them and it arrived with a burned up motor and the tumblers didn't fit on the rails together as advertised. They sent a replacement, with the same tumbler issue. Both could not fit on the motor at same time. The tumblers are poor quality pvc pipe fitted together. They really dropped the ball on the tumblers. I now have 3 large thumler's that have been running non-stop since March. Only replaced one belt pulley. They absolutely are fantastic quality.
@@youkneecornkernel6606 I can't complain about the MJR motor because it's been running straight 24/7 for a year now. The barrells are crap quality though. I'm going lortone with my next purchase.
Those agates are all stunning! Gonna have to get me some of those Bay of Fundy agates! I like ordering from Kingsley North also! Great video 😁👍 nice music to the slideshow!
Awwwwwwwe-suuuuuuummm. Not a bad rock in the bunch. Your camera work is really good. You gave us the type and grits for stages 1-4 but not the polish. I'm glad your fix for the leak worked and you could continue. Thanks for sharing your time and expertise. Be happy, safe and stay healthy 😷⚒
Very nice man! I love how both those kinds came out. The bay agates you have are pretty. I need to find that video I think I missed it. The sagenite is awesome
It doesn’t matter what prefix is used before hand; crazy lace, porcelain, seam, etc., they are all agate licious!!!! WOW The porcelain blue agate… may favourite, so stunning! Many thanks for sharing these beauties with us. 💕
The Blue Agate is really set off by the Quartz. I love Blue Agate. Crazy Lace is Extremely nice, but it was really reduced in size.. The bands & Eyes & Squiggles all in one stone is Amazing.. ~ ( Have you seen the tumblers of Rob at "Michigan Rocks"? ~ He might suggest a tumbler that would last more than months. He runs his a Lot...
Crazy lace is awesome, I have a partially polished slab I bought at a show a couple years ago and its the first thing I am going to polish when I get a flat lap.
NIce! It's beautiful material. Very cool to work with. If you end up going with a hi-tech diamond flat lap you can use our affiliate link and code for discounts on future purchases.
Just who is the craziest of agates? I think the sagenite because it seems unable to settle on an image of regularity with it's lines going all which ways :D mad little pebble! Anyway, you got some gorgeous mirror sheens going on! Really lovely stones indeed, thank you so much for the excellent close ups
I just get mesmerized by crazy laced agates. I get lost in the details. So much going on. It's like 3D art. You can see shadows and dimensions. It's like you can crawl inside of it but you can't. It's hard to explain how I feel and what I see. It just draws me in and captures me. Thank you for sharing. Such beautiful pieces
Wow, they are beautiful! ❤❤❤ The Bay of Fundy agates are amazing (the sagenite and the porcelain are my favourites, also the opal with his little "sandy heart tornado over a desert" pattern) and the Mexican Crazy Lace agates are mindblowing! 🤩🤩🤩 I love the before and after shots 👍
Great video Jason! My hubby came into the kitchen while I was watching you show off the finished products and he was blown away by how beautiful the agates turned out! Thank you for the repair tip for the tumbler. I will keep that in mind for the future if I ever need to repair a barrel.
Thanks Ange! Glad you both liked them. The tumbler repair was just a temp job. It won't last very long. Looking at other tumbler options now. I might bight the $$ bullet and switch to a lortone. Thanks for checking it out!!
Jason, my hubby was wondering if you've ever tried Flex Seal as a repair tool? He mentioned that they now have it in tape form as well as the paint or spray on methods
@@angef9687 I never tried it but everything would be a temp job at this point as the coarse grit is just eating away at the barrel. The gorilla tape is holding up though.
I hope my crazy lace will come out as nice as your. Did you use a special recipie when tumbled them? Thank for the enjoyable video. Happy Rock Hounding
Those turned out super nice! I like the ones that you and the boys found the most. The blue tones in them were beautiful. The crazy lace is pretty too. You guys take care.
I didn’t know crazy lace was in different colors. So beautiful. Bay of Fundy agates are beautiful too. Gorgeous! How you can see down inside the layers of lace.
Sure thing! A rotary tumbler is the more traditional tumbler you see most people use. Its a barrel turning. Rotary tumblers can do more grinding in earlier stages so you can get them more rounded to the shape you desire. The Lot-O tumbler is a type of vibrating tumbler. Vibrating tumblers do not grind near as much. They pretty much polish your rocks as is. I use a combo of both. I use a rotary tumbler for stage 1 to shape the rock then transfer to the lot-o to for the rest of the stages as the lot-o uses way less grit and takes about a third of the time to finish. Hope that helps!
@@rockersfromaz3001 national geographic tumblers are good for beginners, but if you're willing to spend a little extra money for better quality then Lortone is the way to go.
@@RockhoundingLife awesome. That’s actually what I have now. And so far I’m loving it. But I wanna go bigger! Thanks again! I appreciate your feedback!
@@RockhoundingLife BTW those agates are absolutely beautiful! I have some crazy lace I’m getting ready to tumble next week! Now I’m looking forward to it even more!
What a fantastic batch of agates. The before and after pics were amazing.😎
Many thanks!
The agates you found were every bit as beautiful as your Mexican crazy lace agates! Especially the porcelain seam agate! Oh my!
Thank you so much!

Man I love crazy lace agates! I used to have 1 or 2 small tumbled pieces but they got lost over the years with moves.
They are definitely a cool agate!! Botswana agates are still my fav though!

Hello. I just got into tumbling. Can you tell me the difference between the rotary tumbler and the lot-o? Thanks :)

Looks like you could make another barrel out of PVC pipe.
Probably would work as long as it's the same diameter so it will fit on the rollers.
Wat did you use to polish these? In stage 5?
Alumina
@@RockhoundingLife ok my stage 4 polish is alumina 1200 polish. There’s another time after that??
Yes. 1200 is pre polish. You want to run a final polish stage. I use Alumina which is 20,000 grit
First! Haha 😄
👏🎉
Should have used Shoegoo fixes anything
