@@Smokeyr67 paslode is cordless electric. Just with added gas 🤣 There are some decent battery guns around, but paslode has more advantages, it is the better tool. Just please don’t buy the Milwaukee framer unless your arms are MASSIVE.
You can fit 2 of those big coolers on it , if you have that tube thing , mine fits easily 2 x 90 liter plastic containers . Got mine from black Friday sale and it was pain to get delivered , came on a pallet and Ikea type assembly needed . Compared to Makpac trolley i got , was waiting assembly work , but that was ready to be used strait from the box .
I wonder what the range on the bike is in lowest assist, with 8ah. Guess you can extend the range by putting a pile of spare batteries in a makpac type 4 on the back!
Backpack sprayer. Being wait for long time. I have 5L sprayer but need at lease 3 times refill to finish my complex weed kill. 15L will be the perfect one. Leave 5L at home then :)
The makita backpack blower is 1200WH, which would be equivilant to 4 8AH 40V batteries running in series/parallel (2 batteries in series, both sets in parallel to each other)
Love your work. 2 questions I have for you, or your Makita contacts. 1/ Looking at buying a petrol pressure washer for a job I have on the books. I have a good 240v unit, but no power - plenty of water. Is there a 2 x 40v pressure washer on the horizon? 2/ Tool/equipment transport. Is the Makpak upgrade that the patents are in for likely to rival the Milwaukee system? I don't like how big (or how expensive) the Milwaukee arrangement is. If the Makita upgrade is likely to close that void I will wait. I could fit out the Makita 'skins' to suit, witch would overcome the 'flimsy' criticisms of the current Macpak format. I have a few Festool kits that work with the Makita format, so I'd rather stick with that.
Cool man, thanks. Was hoping for a 40v lawn mower. Will also get a 40v multi-tool if they make one. And those sprayers, why not 40v FFS? Not gonna buy an 18v battery and charger again, sold them.
I hope these fridges were slightly taller and manufactured in a free country:) Still, good and I would love to see 30 l. That would be spot on for my needs. Similar to Hikoki actually. I need to research if there is a way to use Makita batteries in Hikoki fridge :) That 7l is targeting lunch boxes. Good idea. I am so happy Makita is targeting just “battery equipment “. The batteries are expensive so I would prefer to buy one system. Next one a PD charger that can deliver 100W for my Mack Book :)
Any chance they'd bring any of these: • rivet/rivet nut gun • right angle die grinder • hydraulic impact • jigsaw Damn that 50L is sexy! Great video as usual, mate. Thanks for all you do.
Please, make a comparison between X-Lock XGT grinder and standard XGT. By the specs, the X-Locks 41/44 should be 1,6x more powerful (5 Ah should be best choice).
Might another new track saw be coming? I don’t know how to decide between getting a Milwaukee, Dewalt or Makita cordless track saw. I wish Metabo HPT made one, because it could offer both battery or AC power plug. (But I don’t get the feeling Metabo will make one.) Thank U!
@@ToolsAndStuffOFFICIAL Hikoki cooler is taller so it can take water battles vertically. Makita needs to come out with the second-gen of battery-powered nailers framing, (15fn), 16g angled, 18g, and 23g. Basically to get on par with Milwaukee here in the states. Everything currently on the market is clunky, underpowered, and lacking performance. Quit wasting time with coolers and bikes. Give us some good battery nailers, please!
Makita nailers have never been good so far anyways. Although staying with the same brand is always good, there is always a compromise when it comes to some of their tools
Save your money and pass on any of the coolers. Anyone who has owned a thermoelectric (peltier) cooler knows they are as good as useless. They burn a ton of power and claim to keep things 40f below ambient, but youll never see that unless the stuff is that temperature to begin with. 12v fridges with compressors have gotten much cheaper, many have battery options, and are cold enough to make ice.
The bike still doesn't look that good, it's an improvement on the last one visually at least but it's still not great. The electric bike market is already competitive and I'll bet Makita won't be going budget
Perfect I nearly bought the cooler the other day.. now I'm going to wait for the 50l cooler for camping /bugout/zombie apocalypse use 👀😂
A framing nailer would be nice 😀
Stick to paslode

It'd be about an hour on the highest setting going on level ground assuming it's doing all the work. So figure around 1.5-2 hours on low
Still looking forward to getting the RUclips tools and stuff notification about the makita cordless framing nailer 😅
Me too...
I can't wait for the backpack blower! Any more details? I can't even find it on google.

50 litre cooler looks like a great size for weekend camping. Back pack blower looks good but heavy. And the bike looks good too.

Always get keen when I see that notification….my pocket on the other hand gets a tad sore 😂
hi, test please the grinder dust removal tool that appears on this video, should be awesome cut masonry without that harmful dust.
40v Half inch router and a mixing drill would be on my wish list!!!
There is a XGT palm router, in Japan at the moment, but could be purchased on ebay.
I did a review of the XGT palm router a few months back.

What dates will the cooler be on the market and how much will it be

Jigsaw will be first. Then maybe the impact followed by riveter. No idea on the die grinder.
Any news on a 40v blower vac?
Any sign of a 40V Jigsaw - mine died and I really don't want another corded one - or an 18v one.
A bigger fridge will have more surface area where more heat will enter therefore a larger fridge will use more power.
The Metall/wood saw is cool.
1 saw for both.
Only Makita would release a battery-assi sted bike and then follow up with a 2nd gen version.... And I'm not complaining!
Pedel the bike🙄
largest issue with the cooler.... it doesn't charge while plugged in. This makes the hikoki's version much better in my opinion.
But you can run the makita twice as long as the hikoki on batteries.
50L esky would be a lot better other one seemed too small!
That bike seems promising!
