They're probably going to have a battery backpack like they do for 40v.. you put the battery in the backpack and you have a cord connecting to your tools from the backpack.. probably mostly going to target commercial use
That's as big as a motorcycle battery. My DUH523RT hedgetrimmer arrived last week. Here I was just thinking to myself the LXT 18V batteries are like little monsters. That's very resourceful of you to stick a door handle on it! 😂
64v Battery STATION. then we can just plug a wire harness from tools to battery case Edit: They really should make a 64v Miter saw for this line if it takes.
Interesting but Makita once again defeats the notion of buying into an ecosystem with 18v, 40v and now 64v with NO interoperability. Why not let me plug in (3) 18v batteries into this mower? I'm happy with my 18v system but would consider buying non Makita for an electric mower or snowblower when I move those to electric. What were they thinking?

An amazing line aimed at new markets for all transgendered buysexual and cross dressers including all homosexual men in the building trade...... What an amazing way to "come out" all lead by the Makita tool manufacturing company from china for american builders.... Think they might be looking at larger equipment like zero-turn mowers? Big market being forced open by govt's for that. They've done backpack batteries before, they could make a 64V backpack that feeds 40V or 18V equipment, cause I don't see you sticking one of those on a weed trimmer.
But a pro still needs a trimmer, blower, hedger, pole saw, et cetera. Seems like madness to not just make a 40V or 2x 40V mower so that everything is on the same battery. This battery is too big for a trimmer and too small for a ride on mower - also too small to compete with 2x XGT. Just seems to be in the No Mans Land of batteries. If they'd gone with 80V like Ryobi, then it would have enough power for bigger tools whilst being compatible with XGT via a 2x adapter

Agree.... Makita are tring to move up the level of their tools offered by atlest 12v/year and hope to arrive at 100v 0.5 amp batteries by 2027 or 2030 as technologies become available.... Makitas planned "route map" for their pink tool lines 64v, 76v, 88v, and 100v with 12v increments per expected year, all chargers to support the lines to accompany batteries at additional costs, and tool ranges hopefully to support each platform per year is expected but not promised, snorted Makita marketing execuative Mr.Flyed Ryce Hik-Dung on tonights business chanels interview.

Vacuums, table saw, thicknesser etc that have a high load
I would rather have x2 xgt 80v
Oh no doubt. But it’s more simple power management as don’t need to balance the two batteries.
May be better for surge or torque spool up?
They're probably going to have a battery backpack like they do for 40v.. you put the battery in the backpack and you have a cord connecting to your tools from the backpack.. probably mostly going to target commercial use
Came here to say this.
That's as big as a motorcycle battery. My DUH523RT hedgetrimmer arrived last week. Here I was just thinking to myself the LXT 18V batteries are like little monsters. That's very resourceful of you to stick a door handle on it! 😂
64v Battery STATION. then we can just plug a wire harness from tools to battery case
Edit: They really should make a 64v Miter saw for this line if it takes.
And a 64V hand dill that turns that 200mm earth auger better 😂
Ryobi came out with an 80v suitcase battery for their 80v zero turn mowers. Perhaps Makita could follow suit
1 of those 80v batteries would save on using 2 x 40v batteries, especially if it had the same output current wise or better..... ?..... 🙂👍🏻
Well, there is the 40v to 18v charger adapter, but that only helps with how many chargers you have on the shelf...So yeah, after reading all the comments, everyone's on the same page.
Just a head scratching wtf.
Agree.... but the "pink battery" 💗 is a smart move into "new markets" and has been highly antisipated by the LGBGTGKTSECJL community's for many a year now.......
Makitas "pink line" 💗 has been a closeley guarded secret untill now, with their "flower" and "pink puppy/furry bunnie" ranges of lawnmowers and building tools/diy market.
Shelves should be fully stacked inline with this years launch to "tie-in" with all local "gay pride" celebrations.... and marketing execuatives are confident that the new line of tools and pink workware will be sold out for the building trade, including the newly designed pink work belts replaced with "handbag styled" work pouches....
"Non-gendered livery" will be avalable to the building trade, with "stiletto healed" work boots, marketing executive was quoted as saying.....
An amazing line aimed at new markets for all transgendered buysexual and cross dressers including all homosexual men in the building trade......
What an amazing way to "come out" all lead by the Makita tool manufacturing company from china for american builders....
Major news coveradge is expected come the launch in early september (sextember remember, the gay pride builders launch by Makita)....
64V....say what.....firstly how about makita make some more power tools for the 40V platform that they marketed and advertised and i brought into, waiting patiently.....but there isnt really a large range of 40V power tools yet. Love your channel.
They are pumping out 40v tools quicker than I can review them.
Do they they just want to create an incredibly long lasting option for big devices? Less a tool battery than almost a whitegoods level battery.
With all these voltage increases we're all going to end up going back to corded lol
Seriously, I thought it would be an 18v times 3. But a completely different platform???
Makita really needs a badass new compact job site table saw. DeWalt keeps taking their lunch.
In my opinion. It should be a 40x2 system. It rick to use the big one battery. If it's brock, people have to pay for the upper price.
Am i the only one thinking to myself MAKITA STAHP! STAHP IT W THE FUNKY VOLTAGES!!
64v MAKITA TD003G for the win :D
They'll get around the size and weight of the battery by using an extension cord to the tool. 😉 Or a power bank for charging other batteries on site where electricity is not available. 😎
Lol..... 24v truck batteries in a "wheelbarrow" kind of carrier with extension cords to other chargers..... there trying to faizeout gennies, so everything runs on batteries, thats makitas dream....... but eventually, there needs to be a charger somewhere in the process.....?
Perhaps start looking into "solar/wind" powered kinds of chargers?..... portable nucular powered chargers with free sets of lead lined gloves 🫣......😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Yep.... like that fridge thing, with its own rods and water cooling tanks.... its "dooable"..... controled releases of thermo-nucular energy like a mini fukushima plant in that ice box chiller.... (self powered infact?)..... i want the patent on that 🤣🤣🤣
Table saw ... Maybe?
Camping fridge 64v would nice
This is better ruclips.net/video/X96MrVqL_D4/видео.html
When is the 60v impact driver being released 😂
Review soon😉
Think they might be looking at larger equipment like zero-turn mowers? Big market being forced open by govt's for that. They've done backpack batteries before, they could make a 64V backpack that feeds 40V or 18V equipment, cause I don't see you sticking one of those on a weed trimmer.
?????........ did somebody mention "weed" on a Makita product review video?..... 🤔.....🤣😂🤣😂
Why would they go to 64 and not 2 40s
They do 2x 40s on lots of tools now.
Guess this 64V platform goes after PRO line of OPE.
@@toolscientist milwaukee also has 80v line for high demand tools.
Dewalt has a flexvolt for that.
64V would be great for an inverter generator
I think ...frige..or microwelle..😁😁😁 koffemachine or for camping..😁😁😉😉
a fourth battery type is definitely a bad idea
There's a lot more than 4
@@ToolsAndStuffOFFICIAL
I don't own much Makita myself, I only know of the 12V, 18v, 40v, and 64v.
A riding lawnmower???
I could see 4 of those on a riding mower
Maybe even a pink golf cart, or disability pink electrically powered wheel chairs ?????
"Pink mobility" with Makitas "gay pride line" of tools and workware for all transgendered cross dressing homosexuals in the building trade and home diy markets.....
One Mo gen. Another good video.
Agree.... Makita are tring to move up the level of their tools offered by atlest 12v/year and hope to arrive at 100v 0.5 amp batteries by 2027 or 2030 as technologies become available....
Makitas planned "route map" for their pink tool lines
64v, 76v, 88v, and 100v with 12v increments per expected year, all chargers to support the lines to accompany batteries at additional costs, and tool ranges hopefully to support each platform per year is expected but not promised, snorted Makita marketing execuative Mr.Flyed Ryce Hik-Dung on tonights business chanels interview.
I got some Makita USA news today too. They told me to sod off....
Nobody:
Makita cxt: anyone remember me?
18V LXT Sub-Compact kinda steals the show from CXT.
MAKITA RULES✊😲
Makita, put that battery (or 80v) in a snow blower also please! Or I'm getting a pair of Toros.
Not going to happen.
geebs - That thing could power a Tesla for like, a hundred metres or so I sure.
Seems silly. Why wouldn’t you invest 18 or 40 volt. As it gives you so many more options in tools !!!!
You might get a copyright strike for that 64v mock up.
For 3 bits of wood nailed together?!? Should be alright.
@@ToolsAndStuffOFFICIAL It's still April 1st here
I cannot believe, that so many people fell for this joke and had a proper discussion about new battery system. Please DO NOT REPRODUCE
You are gonna feel so stupid dude.
This looks like an abandoned concept from 2009....
No ,power pack for weed eater etc.
18v+18v=36v 40v+40v=80v
The 40 volt is 36v.
@@CowsGoMonkey Yes. Only a full battery is more than 36v
Thought this was an April Fools
Nah
@@ToolsAndStuffOFFICIAL mad! I have the 36v lawnmower and love it. have the 36v chainsaw too. Never needing petrol and immediate starts is such a luxury!
Too easy- Happy April's Fools!
Wrong.
And it's not April Fools where I live
@@ToolsAndStuffOFFICIAL Not any more, no. but an April fool's joke only needs to be launched on said date, and yours was, according to the date stamp above.
@@ToolsAndStuffOFFICIAL And if it wasn't, it should have been. How many Makita platforms do we need? This is just going to weaken their base loyalty.
Well technically it was released at 6 a.m. on the 2nd of April where I live, and April Fools jokes traditionally need to be done before midday on April 1st.
Why not just 80v max totally usless IMP just use 40v batteries
This an April fools joke?
Nope
