I agree, the Rizin gloves are nice, much better than the UFC gloves. Those gloves are so much brighter than the pair i have, I think there was three or four different color/shades of Rizin Gloves so far. Quality of the Pride Gloves are still #1 imo. Great review.
Sorry for the late response, i didn't get a notification. I just took a closer look at my worn pair and they look exactly the same as yours, i don't see anything different, tags, stitching, fingers.... Only thing different is the color, mine are more of a faded green with the worn look to it, has white lines in the green. There's also some glue residue on the inside of the gloves from the handwraps. Edit: And mine also have the Cygames patch.
Yes, the Isami tag is in the exact same spot and looks the exact same. The stitching is also the exact same, light green, with black stitching on the finger straps and by the thumb. Thumb hole is identical. To my eye, your pair and mine are the exact same glove, only difference is the color and sponsor badge. Isami will sell their gloves in a few different colors, but they won't custom make gloves with sponsor badges or fight event colors "that's what the lady from Isami told me". I was originally going to buy a set from Isami, they told me that the only difference would be the color and badge. They were right. I personally like the worn out look over the bright green glove, but i believe they used that bright green color before in an event, i believe Cro Cop fought with a light green pair. Ether way, a great glove to own.
The elastic thing is true. All elastic eventually has its rubber degrade, dry out and begin to tear on the inside so it will stretch out and not revert back to its original state.certain environmental conditions will speed that up
The wrist padding was fpr backhand strikes to protect a fighters bones on the back of the hand toward the wrist. Hammerfists, and awkward "side fist" strikes were common in pride. Rizin and ufc and others basically dont have a need for this. Edit Colin apparently it's also easier to make a fist with the segmented break in the patting
Man those gloves are sweet it’s like a slight upgrade from Pride/Dream gloves. Amazing, btw I think the wrist padding on the Pride gloves was to probably block punches and even kicks better than the UFC gloves also I came to the conclusion that it was to also help your hand to not get caught or trapped when your trying to pummel in a clinch to get under hooks same thing in grapple exchanges on the ground. The UFC, Strikeforce and WEC gloves I own and train in lack in that and my hands have gotten caught as I wrestle and do jiu jitsu and it’s a struggle getting your hand/arm free. But all in all great pair brother, trying to get my hands on some too. Also I saw a pair of those black WEC gloves on ebay and I had no clue on what those were about or if they ever used them, really weird.
Great input! I was certain the wrist guard had a purpose and that makes alot of sense. At first I thought protection from backfists, but defense against punches and kicks makes much more sense. I actually have a spare pair of these Rizin gloves... hit me up if interested as I will move them soon. I will reveal all on the black WEC gloves shortly :)
The Average Aussie Nice collection you got! The additional purpose of the back padding is to prevent backward bending at the wrist, just put palm on the flat surface, it will allow a little move, then stops it. I think the problem of the slipping off fingerloops is because fighters wear bigger size gloves, than they suppose too and handwraps with thick knuckle pads. I used to train with Sengoku gloves, M & L size, which almost identical. Proper size, fits like a well fitted regular glove. P. S. I got 10 brand new pair of Zuffa's Strikeforce gloves V. 3, 6 blue, 4 red and 2 pairs of exhibition used red and blue, all size M, for sale. And lots of other MMA gloves from Fairtex and Ouano.
The Average Aussie Thanks for the response man. Will probably purchase a pair for and maybe use for mitts or very light sparring. I wish they had made them in red and blue.
They are expensive for that purpose but I can appreciate wanting to do that as they are awesome as hell. They actually had some blue pairs for the first two events, I bought a pair recently from a collector and they will arrive this week.... Video to come.
The Average Aussie do you go to bali sometimes? if you do please let me know. I already have 6 gloves I didn't count that already broken, I really want a perfect gloves. and the only way to know is by wearing it. please give me better suggestion how to find out which particular gloves are fit for me
No. The Rizin gloves have far better protection of the knuckles and fingers. The UFC padding is much harder, partly due the glove being so taut when stretched into the fist shape. I guess that would mean the UFC gloves deliver a 'harder' punch. They both work though, the power of the fighter is going to be the real reason a person gets KO'd rather than the glove.
Another quick question. Is there a particular reason you didn't put the Rizin gloves during the vid? I would liked to have seen how the hand naturally rests in those gloves, as opposed to, let's say, the UFC Century gloves. Thanks.
Mainly because these are collectors items and wearing them can decrease their value, especially to the Japanese. They sit on the hands the same as Pride gloves which I have filmed in the past, if that interests you.
I wish you'd actually put them on

@@theaverageaussie7630where are the pride gloves made mate? I’ve read that Winning did not make Pride, instead it was Ouami

I see that Destiny Forever bracelet
Do a tournament of glove reviews
Ufc vs bellator
Pride vs wec
Rizin vs dream
Etc
I came here because the Rizen looked good in action. And, up close, I'd like a pair. Might put them on the mantle un-used, but.
Easy solution get one for the collection and one to use
Boxing glove trick elastic laces basically tie the laces and forget you can just slip them back on. I imagine this would be easier with MMA gloves.
Do you have any info on KSW gloves?
Where is the best place to find a pair of the Pride Gloves made by Winning?
The WEC/UFC ones are either from the Faber/Aldo WEC PPV or the last event.
Good guesses but both incorrect
Do you have any strike force gloves I loved them the logo fitted perfectly on them
I do! I will do a review of them soon. Subscribe!
Would you recommend these for sparring or serious training?
Perfect light sparring or full wrestling or Jits. Good to have an 8oz pair for heavier striking (if you like your training partner :)
The Average Aussie Thanks for the response man. Will probably purchase a pair for and maybe use for mitts or very light sparring.

The Average Aussie You ever consider designing your own glove?
Sure have! Might soon...
Where’d you buy rizin gloves?
How much were your WEC gloves? What do you think a pair is worth now?
Do you know anything about the isami sengoku mma gloves? Expensive but they look really nice
They are great gloves! I will be receiving a pair shortly I can review for you. Subscribe!
The Average Aussie awesome can't wait
Hello sir! Great glove review video. Can you tell me a bit about the sizing. Are they true to USA sizing or do the run small?
I would say the Rizin gloves run a little small. The Pride gloves are right on!
how is the much better rizin gloves or ufc gloves ?
Where did u get rizin gloves?
From a Japanese friend that went to the event. I am selling a pair if interested?
I am interested! How do I contact you?
Email me at ammonwilkes@hotmail.com
Hi, Did you sell those Rizin gloves yet? Or do you have any other pairs for sale?

Where could I buy gloves such as these ? I’ve always been looking for pride gloves and Rizin gloves but I can’t find any online.
Can you review the MMA Grenade's?
Do the Rizin gloves have more knockout power than the UFC gloves since the knuckle part of the Rizin glove stick out more than the UFC glove?
May I ask, where did you get the gloves? And how much they were? Thanks.
A Japanese friend who attended an event. I paid event pricing which I don't remember... $200AUD maybe?
How much are you selling the pride gloves for?
Between $1k-$1.3k depending on the pair.
Another quick question. Is there a particular reason you didn't put the Rizin gloves during the vid? I would liked to have seen how the hand naturally rests in those gloves, as opposed to, let's say, the UFC Century gloves. Thanks.

How do the large pair fit your hand?
@@TomComingAtcha perfect fit
@@theaverageaussie7630 thanks for answering, do you recommend large? Do you have big hands and thick fingers?
@@theaverageaussie7630 I ask because my fingers are slim and not sure whether to get large or medium. What do you think?
@@TomComingAtcha medium is big enough for large size hands when using minimal strapping.
