HOW GREAT THOU ART (Inspired by Vivaldi's "FOUR SEASONS")

How Great Thou Art (Hymn) in the Style of Antonio Vivaldi's Four Seasons with lyrics (arranged for violin duet).
I've been playing a lot of movie music recently, and my 5-year-old son challenged me last week and asked why I don't play more praise songs on the violin - I'm Christian by the way as you might have guessed. I took that as a clue for my next arrangement. In this song, I put together How Great Thou Art with the Four Seasons by Vivaldi as a way to express His power shown through his creation. Here is a violin mashup of the beloved hymn with the most-popular violin concerto on earth.

Hey all, thanks for watching. I really enjoyed putting classical music to hymns - two of my deepest passions. Although many of my arrangements are inspired by classical music, this was a more direct attempt at mashing them up. Were you able to hear both pieces? Also, continuing on my last video, which I edited for the first time, I tried doing some fancy video editing techniques that help tell the story of the hymn. Did you like it, or was it distracting? It is beautiful! I am trying to find a solo piece for my daughter to play as a mashup with a classical piece/hymn. Intermediate to advanced, but I’ve not found one. We both love this.
